  1. Agree. I did hear him say he would do his utmost to get us out of Div 1.... :P
  2. :P :015: :015: That's pretty rich Alex.... Coming from the only supporter that wanted Brewster to remain as manager!
  3. Not sure if Strachan recommending McGhee for the Celtic job will help or hinder him. Does look to be a strong possiblity if he (McGhee) doesn't go to Celtic he could be tempted by the Dons job. Would Movversmell come after TB & MM? Would they be tempted to move back there? Answers on a post card please...
  4. I think he should have been given at least one chance in a match situation.
  5. I'm not convinced the present management team have the right credentials to bring us straight back up again.. Their track record in football management, could at best only be described as patchy. I'd suggest if after 6 SFL games we are not in the top 3 in that league, it would be time to think again.
  6. I can't obviously prove conclusively we would still be in the SPL.... But is is extremely unlikely Rossco would have been in a central position to make that challenge on Lovell, and we might, at the very least have finished the game with 11 players. It was a big mistake to play him and Mihadjuks where they were played... naive in the extreme... Someone should be called to account for it...
  7. Can you ask your leader what his plans for Esson are?
  8. Great post... Had Mihadjuks been at CB and Tokely in his preferred slot as RB on Saturday, we would still be in the SPL.. Vigurs always looked to me like a natural successor to Black... Unfortunately you have to choose your words carefully on here, or you run the risk of upsetting the Butcher Appreciation Society.
  9. Oh chit.... Do you think they might buy a player with that? :014:
  10. Vigurs would have been an ideal replacement for Black...
  11. Very true!! :D
  12. Are Butcher and Malpas the right management team to lead us straight back up again?
  13. James McFadden...
  14. Like I said costly mistakes were made on Saturday...
  15. Turned out to be rather costly mistakes as it happened...
  16. So football is all set up and no one should bother then? Didn't you see the way Falkirk, St Midden and Hamilton conspired to send us down?
  17. Who might they be?
  18. He's shown a helluva lot more skill than several other members of the 1st team Alex... Butcher just didn't give him a single chance... which with any luck might prove be another nail in his coffin.
  19. Yes, I agree..... and hopefully under new management...
  20. Sorry to keep harping on about it but Robbo wouldn't have tried to turn Rossco into a centre-back.
  21. I suspect all Vigurs was hoping for was a chance to show Butcher what he was capable of... You know... just like Djebi-Zadi..
  22. no but maybe i should be. yeah he found it very frustrating as he felt he had a lot to offer the team in helping them stay up. the boy just wasn't given a chance to prove his worth under butcher. very sad indeed. there are a lot of people making assumptions about his attitude but i can tell you he has a fantastic attitude and just loves to play football. Just watching him play speaks volumes about his attitude... even when in the reserves. Shame not everyone noticed that...
  23. It must have been really frustrating for him sitting on the bench watching the team slide right down the table and unable to contribute anything. CaleyP are you his agent by any chance?
  24. Thanks for clearing up that mis-understanding.
  25. Had Lionel made the tackle I shudder to think what would have been said... :tonguecheek:
