  1. I always had a high regard for David Sutherland and all he has done in the past for ICT.... But just how much further down the road to oblivion will ICT have to go, before DS conceedes there is a problem here. The forthcoming meeting with the Supporters Trust is going to be quite a night.....
  2. Read the post title Karl.... We're not talking about boycotting all ICT's games... Just this one in the hope that we, the supporters, will have our concerns on the manner in which our club is currently being run, noted by our alleged directors, and that badly needed changes, which could be vital to our very survival as a football club, will soon be made....
  3. It wouldn't be the first time we've been abused by a moderator CD... My best wishes to you, and everyone else on the site who are doing their level best to bring about a change in the fortunes of our beloved ICT. Trust all our labours will bear fruit during 2009...
  4. I've got happy memories of FW.... I'll never forget the time she came to help me bottle some of my home made wine. You have to soak the corks in order to squeeze them into the bottles. FW was an expert at that.... without a shadow of a doubt she was the best cork soaker I ever encountered.... Happy days...!!
  5. Don't worry Smee.... At times he doesn't know whether he's in Cruden Bay or Bombay...
  6. Thanks Joe Broon... On behalf of all those those reprobates...... We luv U 2!! Happy New Year - (like Jb) - whenever it comes!! Ps... Do you still have contact with FW? If you know what I mean....
  7. Bit before my time CD....
  8. I'll be there Maimie.... No worries... and whatever you're serving on the night, I'm sure it'll be more than enough to satisfy me...
  9. You've gotta point Jinkystan... The last one of these meetings I attended was (allegedly) for the board (+ Grassa) to get the Supporters Trust views on who should succeed CC as manager, when he resigned (with some dignity, I might add) It became obvious very soon after that a deal had already been concluded to bring back Brew, and that the board's gesture was purely a PR exercise. I can see this forthcoming meeting being another case of deja vu (again!) And there probably won't even be a cup of tea on offer....
  10. Feckin hell.... Take care if reading above.... A statement like that could cause outbreaks of insomnia on a massive scale..
  11. You would be very welcome. we'd even find you a cup of tea... I was promised that last time I went to one of these do's and it never happened!!
  12. ICT has come a long way with the nucleous of the players that took took to the field on Saturday. They haven't all become bad players overnight - but it is very painfully obvious there is a major, and collective crisis of confidence on their behalf. The players must have the respect of their manager, and vice versa... This quite clearly isn't happening - it didn't happen at Dundee Utd either when Craig Brewster was in charge. What did they do about that? What should ICT do?

12.30 According to Setanta... Will the Rangers support get here in time?
  14. Wonder if anyone on the board has paused to consider just how many extra bums might be put on seats for this cup tie, if Robbo was to be unveiled as caretaker manager the day before the match? Shame that none of them can muster the courage to come on here and explain why they appear to be happy with the status quo... (no - not that 3 chord rock band)
  15. DavieB made this suggestion on another thread - I think this, as a one off means of protest, would be very effective, and should be seriously considered. The following week provides the best opportunity for a 'demonstration' in my opinion. Not enough people will walk out in a big game like Saturdays. And the board will simply say that the few that do walk out are representative of a small minority of fans. Wheras the cup game.....everyone will have to pay to get in, season ticket holders included. The only thing that'll make the board take action is when the discontent starts hitting them financially, so why not organise a mass 'stay away' from the game (though the way we're going it's not likely it'll be noticed!!). Imagine the embarrassment that'd be caused if there was a tiny home crowd there, and it was known that fans were deliberately staying away because of what's going on. [/i] This would let the board see what future home attendances could be like if they persist with the present management team...

That's the most sensible suggestion I've heard yet... It would let the board know what future home attendences will be like if they persist with the present management team
  17. We'll all be behind the team on Sunday - not Saturday. It's up to the manager to instill some confidence and heart back into the team, by winning their respect... This, quite clearly, isn't happening. It didn't happen for him at Dundee Utd either but at least their board saw the light and made a decision. THERE HAS TO BE A CHANGE BEFORE THE JANUARY WINDOW OPENS.

I would seriously have doubts about Park wanting to leave Hibs. I'm not so sure.... there could very well be upheaval at Easter Rd soon. It would be great to see him back here again - with Robbo.
  19. A pre-match pint in the Norseman in Greenock Dunfermline steak bridies The return of the Highland derby Two games a season within half an hour's walk from my house A wee carry-out by the River Nith on a spring afternoon A return to Broadwood, scene of one of our greatest-ever matches Looking forward to it already! Dunfermline steak bridies... mmmmm..

Barry's signed for QOS.. I agree with Scotty on Robbo until the end of the season....
  21. A defeat wont seal it but fan power might Or a heavy defeat and fan power...
  22. That's not acceptable behaviour at the ground and would result in the arrest and exclusion of the fan. And rightly so.....
  23. Even when he came off the bench for the last 15 minutes he was always likely to contribute something worthwhile... I loved the guy...
  24. One or two seem to be missing the point here.... I'm not asking for scoreline predictions... (happy to leave that to Gringo) Given that Brewster's future with ICT could be hanging in the balance, what would be the best possible result for next Sunday? I'm worried that a draw or even a narrow win (unlikely) might take the pressure of him for a week or two - If that happened and he stayed with us, I can see ICT slowly bleeding to death....
