  1. Perhaps they think Robbo lives too far away from the stadium to be considered....
  2. ARCHIE'S CURSE And so another Premier League manager is off to the Job Centre. This time it`s Blackburn boss Paul Ince, who has been give his P45 in time for Christmas. So much for the season of good will to all men. Reasons will continue to be advanced for Ince`s failure. Tactical naivety, poor man management and the inability to organise his defence will be among them, as will the idea that the step up from League Two football was too much for him. However, there`s a more sinister factor. It`s called Archie Knox. Sammy Lee appointed him as his number two at Bolton and lasted nine league games after that before being given the boot. Ince called on the services of the Scotsman and did only slightly better, surviving seventeen matches before having the chance to spend more time with his family. Whoever takes over at Blackburn would do well to indulge in the pastime known as Axing Archie. Allowing him to remain is like having the Grim Reaper on the staff.
  3. Are you sure about that? He did say on Radio Scotland he hadn't heard anything from the club after submitting an application.. Given the way the management of this club operate, I would be surprised if his application was even acknowledged.
  4. Looking more and more like Brewster's successor. Personally I think it would a big mistake... but nothing surprises me anymore at the manner in which the ICT board and the DoF arrive at these decisions...
  5. Maybe they took the view that to do so, might compromise their impartiality...
  6. I think the points docking process should start today..... To the tune of 3!!
  7. Good tip... thanks!!
  8. thought he maybe had. shame, was a great player. if he can't play then its a no for me then An eye injury problem
  9. It is a sad affliction right enough... I believe he's been seeking medical advice however : An old football coach goes into a chemist to buy viagra. Can I have 6 tablets and I need them cut into quarters. I could cut them for you, said the chemist but a quarter tablet will not give you a full erection. I am 72 years old said the old coach I dont have much use for an erection - I just want it sticking out far enough so I dont wee on my slippers
  10. He could look good in the reserves, (saw him several times) but he was never SPL 1st team material...
  11. I couldn't... apparently he's got a terrible foot odour problem...
  12. You would rather gamble with Knox?
  13. What's Knox ever achieved as a football manager?
  14. I hope anyone going tomorrow does start up a Robbo Robbo chant... I'm sure it would urge on the players.... Maybe the Jambos could join in too!
  15. Never really proved himself as an out and out manager. Great coach all the same....
  16. Has anyone asked Gillian?
  17. Plus Bennetts got to pick the team and decide how they approach the Hearts game tomorrow... Still.... I'm sure he'll take it all in his stride...
  18. I don't really think we need anyone who goes round defecating in other people's shoes...
  19. A bit different from the manner in which Brewster was appointed... BUT I sincerely hope you're right.
  20. ICT board - Please note...
  21. Although we don't know for sure who, if anybody, really would be prepared to move north. I think that has been an issue in the past, candidates have been approached and would be happy to be our manager but without making that geographical commitment. Having lived for most of my days in the Glasgow and Edinburgh areas.... also Fife, I can't begin to understand how anyone can find a higher quality of life in the cental belt, compared to here in Sneckieland. Would you consider relocating to Inverness, Yngwie, or would you prefer to remain in Perth?
  22. You nearly wet your Barry Ferguson?
  23. You are indeed correct, I think that excuse can be sent to the recycle bin from now on. I think the fact that we have been an SPL club for a while now makes us more of a prospect for managers and players than we were previously. Absolutely... Totally agree with you..... as always!
  24. With all the bullsh!t the board continue to spout about the difficulties in trying to attract personnel to this far flung corner of the British Empire, just south of Iceland, it's amazing how many people there are out there, who would be prepared to move north for this job....
  25. Don't under-estimate the non-Brewster effect.... :thumb04:
