Totally agree.... That was the midfield that lined up for most of the second half against Gretna, and although we didn't score during that period, we were in total command.... To take both Rankin and Marcus out of our squad now would be a huge body blow...

I agree with previous comments made about Marcus.... In fact I would say he has the potential to become a really great player.... Brewster made a comment last night on North Tonight that there could be more than one player leaving ICT during this window... I would hate to see Marcus leave - but given that he has been nurtured throughout his career by his big brother I would not be surprised to see both he and Rankin finish up at Hibs... That would be a serious blow for our long term plans.... :018:

He's perfectly entitled to sell his house whenever he wants.... maybe he received a really good offer for it. There would also be nothing to prevent him buying another one in this area... Rankin signed a contract with us.... The ball is firmly in our court - we are not obliged to accept any offers that don't meet our valuation of the player or come with all manner of strings attached.... Caley are now firmly established as an SPL side, and one who won't just have Gretna to thank for another season playing in the top flight... This club is progressing at a sensible and steady pace - ICT has as much - if not more of a right to be here as the likes of St Mirren, Falkirk, Motherwell and Killie.... Where does the massive inferiority complex come from..?

Not only a good set up, but something that is building and progressing at a sensible pace....
