  1. He wont be. Bennets prepping the team for this one. If true that's a shame. I'd have fancied them to take at least a point with Robbo in charge. I'ts so stupid. He is available - he's ready to start now. I'm quite sure he would have agreed to help out until a suitable successor could be found. Certainly doesn't look like it's going to happen now. Still.... What would anyone expect from this board?
  2. I was having sex with my partner with Radio Scotland on in the background.... When the announcement was made I let out such an ecstatic yell, my partner thought something wonderful must have happened... In a funny kind of a way something wonderful had happened...
  3. Yeah... A good post for an old fella like yourself Alex....
  4. Wonder if Butcher would want to bring his old sidekick Maurice Malpas in, who's just been sacked from somewhere down south They seemed to form a decent partnership at Motherwell.
  5. See here
  6. He wouldn't be my first choice but you're right - definitely worth a flutter.
  7. It's only about a 25 minute drive from the Chambers to Parkhead.... and the way CaleyD drives probably about 10 minutes!!
  8. How many on that list would be available to take the job on straight away? How many currently have employers that would need to be compensated? Gotta be Robbo...!!
  9. Dont worry Chambers Bar - we'll be back - the service and the hospitality was first class.... Thanks again
  10. His auntie lives in Glasgow.
  11. Perhaps George Fraser and Grassa will invite the Supporters Trust to the stadium to discuss any potential candidates?
  12. Jeezus Mannie.... You must be worth a fortune if you could simply have walked out on a job like that.
  13. Yeah.... we got lumbered with the usual suspects yet again....
  14. I think Mikey stood her up on a date once, Rig....
  15. Why do so many on here appear to believe he should have "done the decent thing and walked"...? He had a contract FFS... How much would it have cost him in lost earnings to quit? He had no option but to wait until he was sacked and that should have happened at least a month ago....

Only if Robbo's in charge... Why?? So if we appoint someone else your not going to go? Maybe - depends on who might be appointed... I've no intentions of going if Grassa's in charge... Even temporarily.

    Only if Robbo's in charge...
  18. I'm cautiously optimistic regarding these signings... Particularly Pavels and Morais... they could still play a major part in getting us off the bottom rung...

    Brewster Poll

So you think he should go then?
  20. I vowed I'd never go to another away game after the Hamilton fiasco, but I'll go to this one - if Robbo's back in charge..
  21. Thank God you've got Blobby out yer system...
  22. Is that really what you'd have done Gringo, walked away just because the fans were calling for you to go, and deprived your family and yourself several thousand pounds in the process?
  23. Johnboy now that we are talking again I don't want to stir up trouble. I wished Brewster well in the future in another thread. My view on the matter is that if I, you or anyone else in another industry had been so incompetent in decisions made that brought our employers to such a low ebb we would undoubtedly be sacked without recompense. No... I don't think so Birdog... If you've got a contract outlining your salary for a set period, you're entitled to be paid for that period. If he had quit he would have been in breech of his contract and not entitled to anything.
  24. A misunderstanding here I suspect... I'm happy to see the back of him too, but both you and Jnr seem to be suggesting he should have walked away from this, presumably with nothing by way of financial recompence.. As (I believe) he is contracted till the end of the season, it would have made much more sense for him to wait until he was sacked. I would have done exactly the same....
  25. I actually don't think my comments were unfair or unjust. Myself, and others, have said before he should walk away with the knowledge he tried rather than wait till it is too late... unfortunately, he waited too long and the inevetable happened. I truely thank Brewster for his efforts as he clearly thought he was doing his best - his best, however, was not good enough. All the best to Malky too with his future. But why should he have walked away with nothing, when he's got a contract till the end of the season? Surely you can't blame him for hanging on to his job until he was sacked?
