  1. You're touring Broadway with your panto...? :023:
  2. :015: :015: :015: Presumably the grand jury is still out on this one..... :024:
  3. Assuming free of injuries, more or less picks itself... Fraser Proctor McGuire Munro Hastings Cowie Black Duncan Rankin McBayne Niculae Subs : Tokely, Bayne, Wilson, Vigurs, Zibi.

Hamish - you are quite right... It astounds me that so many on here are still so critical of the team and/or individual players in the middle of a run consisting of 5 straight wins, which have included our first win over Celtic in the SPL.. Of course there is a reason for this unprecidented success and that reason is Mr Craig Brewster... He is still learning his trade as a manager, but he has already demonstrated that he possesses considerable motivational skills... Several members of our team appear to have made the transition from merely good journeyman pros to very talented accomplished players under his guidance. I am optimistic enough to see this as the beginning of ICT becoming a major player in the SPL... I sincerely hope the management will back Mr Brewster to the hilt, especially through the forthcoming window, which could determine just how far up the top six section of the table we finish..!! In this business there is always room for improvement and if our manager gets the backing from the board he needs to strengthen the team in certain areas, the future of ICT is very promising indeed.
  5. Unfortunately that point for the Dons today means they have reclaimed 6th spot in the league.... Just means it is even more imperative that we beat them on Jan 2nd....
  6. Agreed.... It's a nice problem for Brew to have all the same.....
  7. Not one opposing manager has given us any credit 'cos they're a bad losing shower of knuts.... There is a new spirit about ICT now that wasn't there before... the heads could have down after Vinegar's brace last week - likewise being clawed back to 2 : 2 yesterday - The past two games they have finished by far the stronger side - they are now going into each game believing they can win it... If they can conjure up a win against Falkirk (won't be easy) then the sky's the limit. The transformation of this team over the past 6 weeks has been dramatic to say the least... Brewster's a feckin genius....!!

I'm not over-fond of either DUFC or Gretna... What is important is that we keep this thread going for the benefit of Arab4Ever.... :rotflmao:
  9. His goal was a superb strike - their regular keeper wouldn't have saved it - (which doesn't say much.!) Although as you say Brew has got it spot on for keeping Bayne for the final 15.... When a sub scores the winner in stoppage time, the manager deserves a lot of the credit.... The great thing about this ICT side is that they can now turn it on without having Brew on the field.... :022:
  10. I'm thinking 3 wins and a draw, Ralph...... Don't forget your prediction for the Cellic game.... :015:
  11. Bayne did score a terrific winner today, but I agree about changing a winning team..... Tokely did ok today too, so what do we do with Proctor..?
  12. Given that Brewster is working pretty much with the same bunch of players that CC started the season with, the difference in performance levels now is astounding... The character they showed last week to overcome a two goal deficit to Celtic was a real eye-opener, and again today - to lose a two goal lead, and yet fight on right to the final whistle for the winner was just incredible. I said this before and I'll say it again.... Brewster and Caley Thistle are quite clearly made for each other.... I hope they never forget that... :014:
  13. Falkirk, Killie, Dons and Gretna.... How many points can we realistically hope for between now and Jan 5th...? I'll say 10 out of 12 which could very well see us in 4th place... :022:
  14. Play in Europe..?? Great innitt...!! It doesn't seem all that long ago when we were earnestly debating as to whether we could survive another season in the SPL.... :023:
  15. I can believe that.... When Brew left the Pars to come here as player/manager it caused a lot of raised eyebrows in Dunfytown... Many felt he should have been offered a coaching role there..... Fortunately there is no way he'll be moving on in the near future - as far as football management is concerned, Craig is still learning his trade - I believe he is here for the long haul and is very anxious to see just how far he and ICT together can go... :022:
  16. This is especially for Sophia... Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2008, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make this country great. Not to imply that this country is necessarily greater than any other country in the Western Hemisphere . Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee. And for everyone else... Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year~~~~~~
  17. Was anyone living in Aberdeen during the Fergie years..? Did bus loads of OF supporters from there still head for Glasgow every Saturday in these days..? Does make you wonder just what kind of level ICT would need to reach in the SPL to significantly turn the tide.... :024:
  18. Closely followed by... Butcher > Motherwell McGhee > Celtic Strachan > Scotland
  19. Or Rankin or Black.... :024: (Two players Brew seemed to have an issue with, not so long ago)
  20. I agree, Maimie... Wee Strachan will be our next victim....!! :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
  21. Oh God.... He's not still got the garlic has he..? I thought he was having treatment for it.... :024:
  22. average 250,000 p/year immigrants compared to USA figures of 800,000 ... considering Canada has a population of 30m and the USA 300m, I would say thats comparatively high. Yeah.... But as soon as they get there they start feckin moaning that they never get to see ICT on the telly.... :018:
