I've admired Walter even since his scumdee united days..... I can't believe he wants to back there after the way they treated him when he left. He's got just about the best job in the world right now.... even if there are long gaps between international fixtures, just to go and see as many potentially useful playes as possible, can't be all bad..... he's not under that much pressure right 'cos no one's got high expectations of Scotland achieving anything... even given their present position in their qualifying group.... It really is feckin unbelievable that he wants to walk out it all.... and go back to these bigotted idiots.... I think he'll live to regret it..... Just seen your post come in as I type Mrs PB... I wasn't aware of that clause in his contract re qualification for 2008... Where did you hear about that? I would have thought finishing 3rd in the group would have been good enough for him to hang on to his job....

From what I've seen of Michael Fraser, I reckon he has the potential to become an ever better keeper than Broonie.... If he (Broonie) does opt to go to Falkirk it doesn't say all that much for his ambitions.....

Scarlet : Unfortunately the budget at ICT is never going to allow Caley to compete with the best teams in the SPL by signing quality players... Charlie would be the first to admit that what Caley lacks in skilled players is hugely compensated for, by having a very healthy team spirit... these guys play their hearts out for each other week in week out.... That spirit has brought them a long way......take it away from them and you will have nothing here... look what's happened at Hearts.... A good & strong spirit like we have here is generally fashioned in an enviroment where the players & management have a good respect for each other, and can discuss things.... Regards Black... he has the potential to go on & play for one of the biggest clubs in England or Scotland, but he still has a lot to learn.... he picks up an unnecessary booking in virtually every game he plays in, and often has to subbed when the management sense he is likely to be sent off.... This in itself causes problems as we saw at Dunfermline a couple of weeks ago..... It is an unfortunate state of affairs.... not only is he letting down his mates with his childish behavior, he is letting himself down.... I'm still quite sure, and remain hopeful the problem will be resolved with CC & Donald and the senior players in the squad getting round a table and talking about it.....

We did look pretty good today in the first half, but St Midden contributed to that.... I'm still a wee bit worried at how feckin Falkirk seemed to have the capability to take our defence apart at will with such contemptous ease........ I'll be very surprised if they don't finish in the top six......
