  1. Last time we did that, we looked like we'd spent a night in Gellions!
  2. Yes.... That's spot on. I just feel that as soon as our unbeaten run comes to an end, our dreams could be all over. The Morton game, which is only 3 days away, is absolutely massive.... as are the rest of them!
  3. Foran Hayes Rooney For me.
  4. So you'd bench two of our most important players for our next crucial match??? They are two of our best players without a doubt - but their game is all about running flat out for 90 minutes - the Morton game is only 3 days away and these two badly need a rest. My strategy for this one would be to keep things tight for 60 to 70 minutes, then bring these two on.
  5. That's the great thing about football - it's all about opinions.
  6. It was Malpas wot won it!
  7. Very badly.... really showed how much strength we lack in depth.
  8. Don't forget Morton away - who drew with QoS today. We had a major struggle to beat them here, not so very long ago.
  9. Not for the first time this season we won the game thanks to our determination and a never say die attitude. If we've got one thing to thank TB for, it's that he has created a team that won't stop battling on the field until the final whistle.
  10. There should be a separate thread for programme collectors.
  11. TB has some tough decisions to make for trhis one. Several players this afternoon looked jaded and badly in need of a rest. Morton got a good result today against QoS and certainly won't be a pushover. For me.... Esson Tokely Bulvitis Munro Golabeck Ross Duncan Sanchez Foran Eagle Odhiambo Allison, Rooney, Djebi Zadi, Hayes, McBain
  12. I BELIEVE.... I believe we were running on empty this afternoon, and were a tad lucky to get all 3 points.
  13. All these midweek games are starting to take their toll. We looked really jaded this afternoon, and not for the first time got a lucky break right on the stroke of full time. Raith Rovers looked the much fresher side for most of the second half. We will really struggle to get anything from our next two away games, unless TB can figure out a way of freshening up his side - big time.
  14. Thanks to you most of us do now BELIEVE

You could pick any 11 from 14 as far as I'm concerned. As long as they show the same determination, committment and character that we have seen in our last 6 games, I predict we will win this one fairly comfortably.
  17. Dammitt...... 3 minutes late. :025:
  18. It's difficult for us...... So many of your players can be so anonymous and very forgettable.

  20. Because it's interesting.
  21. Aww c'mon Mannie... That penalty against Ayr came in the 95th minute and I couldn't remember a single stoppage during the second half! All I can surmise is that somebody up there likes us, plus a guy called S.MacDonald. I suppose it could be argued that Rosscoe's sending off in last season's Falkirk game might be viewed in the same light as that one the other night. It is astonishing how many crucial results come out of some extremely dubious refereeing decisions. I want us to win promotion as much as anyone, but by our own efforts - not handed to us on a plate. Oh.... and we still would have won comfortably against County even without the sending off.

I think Rene feels that Eric is cheating Lionel out of a possible starting place....
  23. Don't really want to make a big issue out of this, but did anyone else notice that Tuesday night's ref was the same guy that gave us a very dubious penalty award against Ayr United a few weeks ago, (in stoppage time) which secured us a scarcely deserved 3-3 draw?
  24. You are becoming a regular, Smee! Good on Ya - maybe it's you who has brought us a bit of good luck! :004:
  25. Yes... I BELIEVE. But I have to keep reminding myself round about this time last year I also believed we would escape relegation.
