  1. Which of course is what you've been saying all along!
  2. I agree with almost all the comments above. For me, we started to show some promise, allied to a wee bit of consistency when Russel Duncan became a virtual first pick. That was around mid-October. I also think TB must have spelled it out to the guys around that time, that their future careers would be in serious jeapordy, without more meaningful effort, committment, character, spirit, etc., They are a terrific bunch of guys, and they certainly haven't let him, or anyone else down - the transformation has been remarkable. Barring a bad run of injuries, suspensions, etc, I now believe we are destined to go back up. In fact it will be really interesting to see just how far this team can go. I believe!
  3. Agreed.... I reckon that is our strongest line-up, and one that has proved capable of grinding out a result, even when not always pretty to watch.
  4. As others are saying on other threads, our prospects of promotion a few short months ago did not look very promising. Now we are looking like a very solid unit, and are probably the bookies' favourites (I haven't looked yet) to go back up. TB and MM obviously deserve a lot of credit for the dramatic turnaround. What did they do? Was there any one thing you can think of that they changed which has got us to where we are now?
  5. When did we last lose a home evening fixture, Stevico?
  6. And Dundee are falling apart.
  7. I don't think so.... They'll be really up for the Tuesday night fixture with County, and I predict they'll win it..... When did they last loose an evening fixture at home?
  8. They've now got us 3 points clear - showing Dundee on 49 points.
  9. If we can just keep this run going we could be 4 points clear by Tuesday night. :D
  10. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOP
  11. Dunfermline fecked..... 2-0 down now.
  12. C'Mon County.... Never ever thought I'd hear myself saying that. A draw there would be best result for us.
  13. Dunfermline a goal down....
  14. Should we win, I would take any result at Dingwall. 0-0 would be best for us from the goal difference point of view. Yeah but IF we win, County win puts us two clear tonight, dundee win means a draw with county is enough to give us the advantage on them, draw is is the best though it does not matter if it's a score draw as goals for and against cancel each other out as far as difference goes. Yeah... But in the event of goal difference being the same, don't more goals scored come into it?
  15. Should we win, I would take any result at Dingwall. 0-0 would be best for us from the goal difference point of view.
  16. Brilliant!!!!!! ROOOOONEY!!
  17. So far, so good.... What would be the best scoreline from Dingwall for us? I'll be very happy with a 0-0 draw.
  18. That will do me :021: That would be my choice too, although Butcher is quoted in saying in yesterday's Courier, that he wants to freshen the side up, given our congested fixture list. That will probably mean starting places for Bulvitis and Odhiambio.
  19. That reminds me of the one about the Embra business man who went to Ibrox to take in a fixture with his beloved jambos. Parking his top of the range 4x4 he was assailed by the "watch yer car" brigade, making the usual demands. He explained to the street urchins, their services weren't required, while pointing to a slavering, snarling rotweiller sitting in the front seat of his 4x4. "He'll watch my car, thank you," he informed the scruffs. "Haw mister" shouted one, as he walked away... "Can yer dug blaw up tyres?"
  20. That's not too bad.... This is shaping up well. I'm relieved Russel will be available for the County game - which is another midweek evening fixture, and these always seems to bring out the best in us. Just keep the effort, the committment and the work rate going guys.... You'll do your career prospects no harm at all. I reckon a win tomorrow, plus wins from the home fixtures with County and Rovers, and we will be virtually home and dry. :024:
  21. I thought Duncan was suspended for this one. Assuming he's still available along with everyone else, I'd go with the Airdrie line up again.... that was a very solid performance, and if it ain't broke, why fix it? We must be a due a goal from Sanchez soon. Hopefully that'll come on Saturday.
  22. Spot on, Kirishma.... Unfortunately there's a school of thought in the Highlands that Anything that comes from the Central Belt, just has to better than Anything that's on offer here. It is complete and utter bollox.... the converse is much nearer the truth.
  23. And a coo flew by... :024:
  24. WHOOOOOOSH! Just ignore them, H/Dee.... Fortunately for us the golf season will soon be back in full swing again. That can provide some welcome relief from all the unrelenting tensions associated with promotion and relegation. Could be a tough year for you and I all the same, now that Tiger's returning to the fray!
