  1. FAAANTAAAASSSSSTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Either a draw or a win for QoS will do us nicely.
  2. Doesn't get much better than this!
  3. Can't be any more than 10 mins to go... C'mon guys.... do us proud!
  4. Every so often Esson dissappears and a kind of weird ghostly presence takes his place. Maybe Feb8th2000 will be able to explain what's happening. :D
  5. Totally agree. Goals are not the be all and end all....These guys that keep scoring goals are just so boring. High time TB took Eric aside and explained to him that we expect a whole lot more from him than just a happy knack of putting the ball in the back of the net. I was nearly booing him after that goal he scored on Saturday.
  6. Highly unlikely that insurance would have been in place in this case.

  8. Shame that McBain is still out of favour, and well short of match practice. I'd still rather see a recall for him, than Stratford.
  9. That sounds like a good idea to me. I've tried not to get involved in this latest pie saga, but the stupid thing about it is that the club claimed they were responding to complaints about the previous caterers. Granted their produce was nothing startling, but I didn't think they were all that bad, and their prices weren't ureasonable. As far as complaints the club received in connection with the previous caterers - and I can't honestly remember seeing that many on here - they certainly can't be a patch on the complaints that are coming in now. What's particularly galling about this is that there are so many excellent butchers and bakers in this area, who are more than capable of producing terrific quality pies, sausage rolls etc, and which they are not charging an arm and a leg for. Clubs like Hearts, Kilmarnock and Dunfermline have discovered the benefits associated with providing good quality, locally produced fayre. Is there any reason why the same shouldn't happen here?
  10. During the run up to the Iraq war, I had high hopes that the EU would present a united and meaningful challenge to the US plans for the devastation that they were planning to inflict on Iraq. Unfortunately Tony Blair b*ggered all that up, and is now becoming obscenely wealthy with his involvement in the US/UK oil deals currently taking place in Iraq. It beggars belief that he was actually considering putting himself forward as an EU presidential canditate not so long ago.
  11. My thinking is a win, maybe even a draw at Morton, and our tails will still be up for Saturday against QoS. Defeat is unthinkable - the heads could go down - it's just not an option. I believe our long unbeaten run will still be intact for the trip to Dumpfries.
  12. I've checked the programme schedules for Radio Scotland tomorrow and Sportsound finishes at 8pm. (810m) :015:
  13. Not quite :D C'mon Jamsie Grady's boys, help wrestle that bottle back oot of Johnboys tight mits Whatever happens tomorrow night, wee James will be trying even harder on Saturday week, to put one over one of his former clubs. I'm quite partial to Balvennie too, btw, H/Dee...
  14. Yeah, ditto from Johnboy.... You can do it guys. Keep this amazing run of results going
  15. Way too many OF connotations pal. Once heard it sang at a h*n pal's funeral, worst thing I ever heard. I really, really wanted to laugh, which might not have been the best idea ever. :004: I wouldn't have have been able to keep a straight face for that.
  16. Where would that leave our captain?
  17. What about stopping for a few spirits?
  18. I got lucky today, and managed a score of 336, which has got me at position 1823 on the leaderboard. Has anyone got any higher?
  19. I'd love to see him on our side, but I fear bigger fish than us will be after him.
  20. I'd love to, and I'm sorely tempted but I've just got too much on on Tuesday afternoon. Also I've never brought the team any luck on away fixtures, so probably best if I don't go.
  21. If we do win this league, that's the goal that will stick out for me as the one that kept us well and truly in the hunt. It was elaborate enough and world class enough for me, and as for the timing......... B)
  22. Eric's very fond of this site.
  23. Anyone remember when? Fleetwood Mac was a blues band.
  24. I actually thought that performance of Imrie's against Motherwell in the cup, was the one that seemed to kick start our season. It was of course, his last game for us. I wish he was still here.
  25. Pumped up? Were you at the game today? They quite clearly hadn't fully recovered from their midweek exertions, and your expecting another gung ho approach from them 3 days from now? As Tree said on another thread, they hardly have time to recover from minor knocks and niggly injuries, when cramming so many games into such a short period. I was looking for a pumped up performance from them today, but very soon realised (11 minutes) that wasn't going to happen. They did of course grind out another incredible result, but (like me) they are soon going to have problems trying to keep it up.
