  7. And quite a few other things.... Like, did anyone notice that Killie have given the the two Jimmys a contract until the end of this season? Not an 18 month deal.
  8. Be sure to tell us where your investigation is taking place.... So as we can avoid it.
  9. Misty nights, through an alcoholic haze, you mean? My experience was that the glass, although initially moving slowly, then began to move across the board at a much higher rate of knots than 4 fingers could have created. One extreme cynic in our group voiced suspicion with the events unfolding on the board, at which point the glass shot off the table and smashed against a wall. The rest of us decided to call a halt to the proceedings at that point..... :D
  10. Interesting video, Birdy.... Like Kingsmills, I had a scary experience with a home made board about 30 years ago that convinced me external forces were coming into play. I too would suggest leave well alone!
  11. I'll be glad when the football season starts up again.... 30 year old trivia books....
  12. It is the right decision.... Given that both player and club would have been notified of the suspension in writing, by the SFA, this was a ludicrous oversight. Great news for Stenhousemuir.... Celtic (or Morton) in the next round!
  13. If that is the case that pitch of theirs will be a complete quaigmire by 3pm Saturday.... It'll be like Port Glasgow when the tide's out....
  14. I think the above was probably innocent. One or two more here, including one that some of you lot might have seen before : Headlines
  15. Good to note that the "boys in blue" had the presence of mind to display their POLICE ACCIDENT sign
  16. I still can't believe I did it....I've been driving diesel cars since the mid-nineties. One of the reasons for doing this was filling up at a different petrol station - I normally use Morrisons, but on freezing cold Sunday morning, having been to B&Q, it was more convenient just to use the Esso filling station next door and as Alex has pointed out the colour codes for the nozels are not always the same. I also didn't get a receipt there (automatic at Morrisons) and if I had I might have noticed I'd filled up with petrol. Reading some of the horror stories on the internet, and from Ms Guzz (above) I'm awful glad I took the car to Caley100.... Could be very easy to get ripped off in a situation like that. The only problem I'm left with now is having to live with the smug, self-satisfied expression on you-know-who's face... I know what she'll say next time she's with me when I fill up....probably for the rest of her life... :)
  17. Not me.....
  18. That reminds me me of an old joke.... A Glesga burd walks into the local dry cleaners. She places a garment on the counter. "Ah'll be back ra morra efternin tae pick up ma dress." she says. "Come again?" says the clerk, cupping his ear. "Naw" she replies. "This time it's mayonnaise
  19. Yeah... I think we should try and avoid getting promoted this season.... :P
  20. You're right there, Birdy... Don't worry though, I did manage to get myself perched in front of a TV, on that Sunday afternoon and saw the whole game live. I even tried to phone Heilandee at half time regarding when he was going to pay up the ?20 bet I had on with him. :P
  21. Take care, WelshRef.... For those of us unlucky enough not to be born and bred Invernesians, supporting Caley Thisle is an affliction comparable to serious drug addiction.
  22. A genius! I can't believe I actually put petrol in a diesel car - for 10 years or more I've driven nothing but diesels. Strange thing was the car seemed to be going better than ever yesterday, after I did that - well for about 20 minutes anyway. :008:
  23. A mannie who should be sorting out my car, and not wasting his time on here.... :008:
  24. I don't think the pitch will be the problem.
