Alex : Surely a corner has to be taken from the side that the ball went out? The referee was a complete balloon.... the ball was already out of play, when Rooney reached it. I thought he was trying to kick it off the perimeter wall but he missed, and so it was deemed to be kicking the ball away. Tokely also got booked for nothing more than going for a 50:50 ball. I thought he won it fair and square.

Not even on the bench today..... One of the most promising young players I've ever seen at ICT... He is a rare talent....A guy who can go at some pace with the ball at his feet, but yet always has it under control - he can take a full back on, and beat him on the inside, or the outside - skin him for pace, send in a decent cross, or get to the bye-line and cut the ball back.... this guy reminds me of some of the great old fashioned wingers from a bye-gone age... George Best, Willie Henderson, Jimmy Johnstone....Oh and what about Davie Cooper and Trevor Francis.... Surely TB can remember these two? Maybe part of the problem is players like Nick Ross don't quite fit in with the coaching methods in today's ultra boring game, dominated by tactical gobbledygook, that is slowly, but surely choking the lifeblood out of this once great game.

The thing is though, are we? On that showing, no.... probably not. This was another poor home performance and a poor result.

Somehow I find Marius's version of events much more believable than the club's. Surely common sense will prevail now, and the club will let this matter rest now. It would be crass in the extreme for them to put the club further into the red by lodging an appeal with a higher court.

That is the key point.... Did the club request that Niculae put his request in writing?

Isn't there a danger that taking this matter to a higher court will cost the club even more money?

It was an interesting interview - he came through it pretty well with several encouraging observations. I also thought he handled the shouting and swearing incident very sensibly... Hope we can put that one to bed now.

Stevie's right.... Butcher and the board should make a statement to (hopefully) bring this matter to a close. If there is another poor performance on Saturday it is a problem that could very well escalate.

We're very fortunate to have Rooney and Barrowman, both of whom are absolutely deadly with even just a half chance. :P

There are ways and means of getting your message across without resorting to that kind of gutter-snipe language. See here

A couple of questions for you, Harry.... Do you really believe Butcher and Malpas have got what it takes to turn ICT's fortunes around? How much more time would you want to give them?

Apologies if this has already been suggested, but maybe all those (like yourself) who were shocked by what they saw and heard, should unleash a barrage of complaints to the club, from the chairman down to the general manager, and the DoF.
