  2. Jeeez.... Real sorry to hear that, Birdy mate, must be like your worst nightmare come true. Have you explained to him that the other half of the OF will more likely be Scottish Champions by the end of the season? Ps... I noticed you had another go at His Holiness again on Christmas Day - in drag this time.... Ah well - maybe one of these days... :025:
  3. What are you studying at Stirling University, Gingerjaggy?
  4. soothing
  5. Man U- Leeds also on Sky Channel 993 - London ITV
  6. Halftime 0-0... Not a bad game - Barry Robson playing very well. Celtic much the better side and should probably be 2 up by now. Some terrible refereeing/asst decisions.
  7. comforting
  8. I don't usually bother watching these games but it will be interesting to see if Kris Boyd can maintain his scoring form, even if it's just against another diddy club. Got a feeling Rangers will win this one despite being without Miller, Bougherra and Naismith. If they do win, the title race would be virtually over.
  9. Craig Brown is their manager, maybe on a caretaker basis, but he will be anxious to make an impression in the hope he'll be offered the job for the long term.
  10. Don't think you are treating this thread with the serious spirit in which it was intended, Starchief.....
  11. Absolutely, DoofersDad.... Well said... Football is, or it used to be, a man's game....Men should surely get to decide whether they are going to, at least attempt to get to a game. The health & safety obsessed nannies should, quite simply stay at home... look after the kids.... get on with their embroidery, and plan for the man in their life's next meal. My old man and his old man would be turning in their graves if they knew half of what was going on in this world right now.....
  12. CD : Game postponements, who might come and go, which man will manage us, which players will play for us, what pies are served and how long it takes......it all means feck all. They are football fans..... whether you like it or not, that's exactly the kind of stuff they talk about. ICT fans in that respect are no different from football fans anywhere in the world. CD : Our fans need to grow some balls and prepare for the fight if they want this club to continue and if they want it to realise it's true potential. So apart from handing over our hard earned cash, and making the effort to come along and watch the team, what else do you suggest? If the club was to fold, go out of of business and cease to exist, you would blame the supporters?
  13. I thought that was Terry.....
  14. I'd say Esson is the best keeper ICT have ever had, and should definitely be playing at SPL level.... I'm just worried that someone (like Scumdee Utd) will make a move for him before the end of this month, and any cash offer will be gratefully accepted.
  15. Great idea!! I'll set up a hot pie stall.... :eat02: :005:
  16. Quite an interesting debate, this has become. My initial reaction was that the police were absolutely right to advise that the game be called off, but Skillfreak has kind of won me over with his comments that, at present, no one tries to prevent skiers from getting to the ski slopes, or to retail parks for that matter. If the pitch is playable and snow has been cleared from passageways, etc, people should be allowed to decide for themselves, whether they are prepared to battle against the elements in order to get to a game. By tomorrow, the A9 and the A96 will still be passable, and most of us would probably get to the game without too much trouble. Anyway, the decision's been taken now.... so... too bad. We'll just have to spend the afternoon at the Retail Park.
  17. I've seen bigger crowds at the Tesco Retail Park over the space of say, a couple of hours, than I've seen at the TCS. I think that has something to do with the fact that the guys who make that effoert to get to the Retail Park are under orders from the wimmin in their lives.
  18. Hopefully, when it does get played we'll have Rosscoe, Hayes and Golly fit for selection... (Assuming they don't all disappear through the now open transfer window)
  19. I strongly suspect Levein took the job on, on the understanding he could start with a clean sheet, and select anyone he might consider would be capable of doing a job for him. You're probably old enough to remember Craig Brown taking on the manager's job, with a clear directive from Andy Roxburgh that Richard Gough never again be selected to play for his country. That didn't do him (or Scotland) any favours. Sadly in Scotland, we are not blessed with a huge array of talent to choose from. I'd be quite happy to see all three of the above named players coming back into the frame again - I'm quite sure it would help, rather than hinder our cause. What McGreggor and Ferguson did was purile and immature - however I do believe their contempt was aimed at the media rather than long suffering Scotland fans. Sine die is a long, long time, M'lud.
  20. Looking at it again in a more sober light, I would probably have Brewster as Midfielder of the decade. Except he always was a striker. I suppose he was right enough - I always saw him more as deep-lying playmaker, rather than an out and out striker. We could certainly do with someone with his kind of presence in the squad right now.
  21. Our reward for having a manager with such a high profile.
  22. Looking at it again in a more sober light, I would probably have Brewster as Midfielder of the decade.
  23. Spends too much time reading the bible....
