Well, you certainly do that, but that's a great idea all the same! What about an amnesty from banning/warning orders for just one night, allowing you to say what the feck you like about anyone on here? Unfortunately we have users who couldn't be trusted to treat any such idea as just a bit of craic and banter and we'd be dealing with the fallout for months. Shame on you.... :( It would have been more entertaining than what we've got on TV tonight.

Here's an idea, why don't you get down to TCS and direct your hot air towards the pitch....it would be cleared in no time at all then. That was meant to be a joke, FFS... and not for the first time it's gone right over your head. Have you had some kind of "sense of humour" by-pass surgery?

Great post, Mantis... :022: We probably will have to resign ourselves to a few more seasons in SFL1 - hopefully no worse than that. Totally agree with getting someone in to manage who actually cares about the club, rather than their own CV.... There are one or two out there, but the right people will have to be in place to make any new appointments. That might be the difficult bit.... :024:

I think our bank manager might have something to say about that suggestion. The annoying thing is, few, if any of us have the faintest idea as to our club's present financial state.

I'd like to think this is good news but I suspect there will be more leaving the club in January, than will be coming in. It is good to know Bulvitis should be here until the end of the season.

Anyone else noticed that 3 of our key players are currently out of action with injuries that were all sustained on the training ground? Maybe it's time someone took a look at ICT's training routines.

What a load of coblers! One or two have been guilty of fiddling their expenses? Where have you been? Regards Iran, what's happening there is their concern, and theirs alone. Do you really want to create another hell-hole in the middle east by thrusting democracy on that country as it was in Iraq?

Mainstander's post, albeit a tad cynical, gets my vote for the most entertaining post that has appeared on this site for a long time. This bottom line from that post could go some way to explaining why so many appear to exercising their "don't vote" option. Quote : Add to that the unifying "principles" which they all, as politicians, share with a vengance - Self interest, electability and screwing the expenses system for every penny they can.

So China brushed aside international appeals, including a strongly worded one from Gordon Brown, and executed a British drug smuggler who relatives say was mentally unstable and unwittingly lured into crime. I'd say China are within their rights to have the death penalty in place for crimes such as these, and that we, as a country shouldn't interfere. I don't even believe appeals for clemency on the grounds of mental instability should be entertained. in any court-room.

Odds from McBookie on Gannon's successor.... 2/1 Jimmy Calderwood, 3/1 George Burley, 4/1 Chris McCart, 4/1 Gary McAllister, 6/1 Scott Leitch, 8/1 John Collins, 8/1 Luc Nijholt. 9/1 Lawrie Sanchez 10/1 Bobby Williamson 12/1 Derek Adams, 12/1 Terry Butcher 14/1 Allan Moore, Danny Lennon 20/1 Darren Ferguson I reckon Calderwood and Nichol will get the nod and I would also predict that Motherwell will finish the season higher in the SPL than the Dons.

Sadly, Im in complete agreement with all of that. Instead of worrying about how long TB can remain here as manager, and who might replace him, perhaps we should be worrying more about whether ICT can actually survive as a going concern. It is very worrying, and the wall of silence from those charged with running the club doesn't exactly help matters.

It reminds of a pair of pyjamas I had donkey's years ago, which had a lion rampant on the jacket pocket. I would tell anyone who commented on it, that I used to feck for Scotland.

Actually, I've heard that Butcher's on double that every year. I was thinking around 100K per annum, hence 50K for the 6 months remaining on his contract. Whatever it is, I doubt if the club is in a position to pay him off.... Even if they wanted to, which would be tantamount to admitting his appointment wasn't a very wise one.
