Reading CaleyD's report from last night's meeting, I don't think Mike Smith or anyone else at the club are to blame in this case. Sadly, it's yet another example of PC gone mad. The obsession with persecuting generally well behaved groups of supporters, in case, repeat in case, someone, somewhere, one person even, might find reference to gypsies offensive. It really does beggar belief that the complaints received by the club, came from (alleged)ICT supporters. As highlighted on another thread, common sense appears to have died. It concerns me that some are considering withdrawing support from the club over this issue, at a time when it needs all the support it can get.

Ditto. Really can't be f*cked with this anymore, turning out to be more trouble than it's worth. I'll watch the Old Filth and then our game after it, with a few pints. Yeap.... Watch the Old Filth hurl dog's abuse at each other, while the police and stewards don't bat a feckin eyelid.

You underestimate the diaspora I think -- but still probably not enough to justify NTSC I agree. Dont think so - I remember the club having to jump through all sorts of hoops (no pun intended) to secure the footage. Hard to tell from the video box itself - says Chris Campbell / John Williams and there is no mention of ICT or Celtic as the distributor (which is a company called "SBL" from Glasgow) Something here which might interest the diaspora... What about if you already had this other job before you signed a contract for him, and he as part of you signing his contract, there was a clause on it allowing some time off to do this job you had previously, so long as you had someone, I dunno, an assistant maybe? Who could step in for you while you were away? Some people need to get a feckin grip. His contract was with Setanta and it was terminated when he took on the manager's job here. Has he signed a new contract with STV now?

The board gave TB a vote of confidence when we were relegated, and asserted he was the man to guide us back into the SPL. I'd say anything but promotion should be regarded as failure. How far a finish down the SFL table would you consider acceptable?

He talks such a good game too.... really raises our club's profile. There can't be many people in the world of football who don't know who Caley Thistle are!

Esson's in a class of his own at saving spot kicks... He's so good at reading the penalty taker's body language and working out which way the ball's going to go. He very seldom goes the wrong way.

I very seldom agree with Kingsmills, but in this case I'm prepared to make an exception and would suggest a boycott is not the answer.

Getting these 4 back will certainly help. I just hope Ross or Hayes won't be dropped to make way for Imrie. They've done enough to merit a decent run in the team.

Maybe some clever, talented, multi-lingual person like Alex McLeod could devise something utterly obscene in garlic, that we could chant at our Dungwall cousins. That would give the stewards something to think about....

I just hope it doesn't become a grudge game, with 22 players kicking lumps out of each other. It'll be good if we win it, but I'd hate to see any of our key players picking up injuries in this one.

About 13 miles, based on this season so far? Naah.... Nairn aren't a particularly good footballing side either... Like ICT their away results are better than their home results.

I'm in complete agreement with all CD's comments here..... But I do have major doubts as to whether becoming a "consistent lower mid-table SPL club" could ever happen with the present management team (irrespective of their budget) The person or persons who appointed TB and MM should be asking themselves some very serious and searching questions.

This thread was not started to clype on players who are out on the town. The point being made, and the question I ask, is the players wouldn't be able to be out very late and over indulge in alcoholic refreshment if they had to go in for a training session sunday morning. Is this the correct course of action? How would you stop them going out for a drink on a Saturday night, whether or not they had a training session on the Sunday?

Will there be an interactive button with a commentary in English, for the benefit of that tiny minority of non-Gaelic speakers in this area?

Not going to happen.... He and MM have to paid for the remainder of their contracts.... Unless of course, someone like Robbo agreed to take the job on without a salary.
