Jordan White diving to win a penalty last night against Livingston. I never had him down as a cheat before, but hey, he is now. Any defender grabbing shirts in the box should be sacked by their club.- Lewis Nicolson Leaves Football
Lewis Nicolson Leaves Football The club can announce that defender Lewis Nicolson has taken the decision to step away from football. <article image from ictfc> Lewis, 21 years-old, has suffered two serious knee injuries during his time with the club and has now decided to pursue career opportunities elsewhere. “Over the past two years I have struggled to return from injury, but through this period everyone at the club, the fans and my sponsors have been incredibly supportive. It has been such a difficult decision to step away from football but with the scare of this second injury and after three knee operations, I have decided to prioritise long term health. I look forward to being a fan once again by supporting the players and management going into next season.” All the best for the future Lewis from all at CTO. You have put a lot of time and effort into your football career but your long term health is more important. It's disappointing for you but maybe a new beginning is just round the corner. FULL STATEMENT FROM ICTFC Start video at 4:57 for Lewis' stunning goal 😎 Full Name: Lewis Nicolson Born: May 4th, 2004 (Inverness) Height: 178 Position: Left back Signed: June 10th, 2021 First Manager: Billy Dodds Career Stats: 11 appearances, 2 goals Debut (sub): January 29th, 2022 - Kilmarnock 1 - 0 Inverness CT (Championship) Full Debut: July 15th, 2023 - 2 - 1 Bonnyrigg Rose (League Cup - Group E) First Goal: February 19th, 2022 - Inverness CT 1 - 2 Ayr United (Championship) Also Played For: Elgin City Goals Scored Feb 19th, 2022 League (H) vs. Ayr United 1 - 2 (86') Jan 7th, 2023 League (A) vs. Arbroath 4 - 1 (86') The last goal in a 4-1 win at Arbroath was the icing on the cake when substitute Lewis Nicolson nudged a header back across the six yard box and into an unguarded net, cool as you like. Mckay and then Steven Boyd combined to set up the chance which Lewis executed exquisitely, his second goal for the club. Both his goals were scored in the 86th minute. (lucky number for you Lewis?) Hope it all works out for you having committed yourself to the Caley Jags only to have your dreams torn away through injury. All at CTO will give you our best wishes.- 2025/26 Squad

East Fife 3 - 2 Inverness CT League Match Sunday, December 27th, 1998, 13:45 PM at New Bayview Park, Methil Attendance: 994 Referee: J Fleming Jim Calder Paul Cherry Ross Tokely Mark McCulloch Charlie Christie Mike Teasdale Barry Wilson Paul Sheerin Hugh Robertson Scott McLean Duncan Shearer- Next Season’s Opponents
Memory man Mantis strikes again: A disappointing result for the visitors in this last game of 1998, unusually played on a Sunday and with a 1345 kick-off - East Fife's new stadium has as yet no lights. The Fifers started well and in 7 minutes John Martin hit a first-time shot wide. A minute later Martin was set up by Tommy Harrison but his shot was pushed onto the bar by Jim Calder. The visitors began to dominate and in 17 minutes a Barry Wilson cross was headed over his own bar by Johnston with Paul Cherry in attendance. In 21 minutes a Moffat volley screamed past the post at the other end. Wilson and Mclean both had chances for Caley Thistle before Paul Cherry was sent off in 37 minutes for a foul on Peters. Gilbert Allan opened the scoring in the last minute of the first half when he raced onto a Moffat pass and clipped it past Calder. Mike Teasdale turned the game in a five minute spell when he scored one goal and made another. In 63 minutes he headed home a Paul Sheerin cross for the equaliser then 5 minutes later he provided the cross for Scott McLean he put the visitors in front with a headed goal. The lead only lasted 6 minutes before substitute Lee Dair made it 2-2 with a cracking shot from 18 yards. With Caley Thistle pressing for a winner they were devastated to lose a goal 3 minutes from time, John Martin headed home to give the Fifers all 3 points. With Clyde losing and Livingston drawing, Caley Thistle end the year in second place, 6 points behind Livingston and 5 ahead of Clyde.- Next Season’s Opponents

Well done to the Supporters Travel Club for another season under the belt. Keep up the good work 👏- No Game on Tomorrow.
Thanks guys. My task was made much easier when IBM and our good friend and former work colleague EWD ict came onboard to lighten my load by doing all the background stats. Sadly Eric is no longer with us and Iain now does that side of it on his own. It's a considerable contribution which allows me to be more 'creative' or a pain in the erse, depending on your sense of humour. The late Johndo contributed many reports and previews & Smileymometers and we used to have a conveyor belt of reporters who occasionally contributed if I badgered them enough. (Liam, OCG, Granty, Davie, Maryhill etc etc...)However, with the advent of other great media outlets like the fabulous Wyness Shuffle, X (twitter) the popularity of the written word takes a hit in favour of more 'hip' options. (see what I mean about antiquated terminology) In an ideal world, I would like a young fresh reporter or two to come onboard and bring a new creativity and dimension to the CTO articles. So the offer of fresh ideas new blood is always on the table. Let your creative juices run free, mine are drying up. Might be an idea for anyone looking to get into writing/journalism/sports... Get in touch if you fancy penning a few articles, As IBM said, we are no getting any younger...- ICT are staying up!! Well Done everyone.

Thanks guys. Just a bit of a passtime that grew arms and legs. Bit of a chore sometimes, but much easier when we win. AI has been a great option for creating some images, although it can take a few goes to get an acceptable image. Onwards and upwards Cheers dears.- Montrose away Final game 2025
