I believe the pitch is OK at the moment, the stumbling block will be the police allowing the game to go ahead with the road conditions and the resource availibility. As far as I know the main routes are ok, it's the minor roads that are the issue.

I'm sure we all understand the dangers, which can be very real. But what is dangerous to some people is not met with the same response by others. It's how we cope with these problems that can make the difference. I know some drivers who come 'so close to an accident' every day they drive, when in all honesty it is just their perception of an incident which is no more than part of normal driving. Somebody pulled out in front of me.....did you see him overtaking.....he never used indicators....he braked. Hey, it's all in a days work. Please use the passing places for overtaking. My bad.

No actual 0 AD but...........it surely does not become 1 year until the end of the first year,ie, one month would be 1/12th of a year. Ten years can not pass until after the end of the tenth year.......am I missing something. I think I'll go and clear the car roof.

OK then, I think you are incorrect. How can you say that what happened to one vehicle would happen to another one, different vehicle, different scenario etc. You then created a hypothetical situation where she might have had to get out of her car on a busy main road to clear the snow which was not actually blocking her windscreen. Correct me if I have mis-read the original story, but you have made a story from a what could happen scenario. By the way, I do believe people should take a little more care when cleaning their car/windows/lights/doors etc, but cleaning all the snow off just in case it might fall down and break your wipers just as you pull onto a main road...... You worry too much.........watch out for the buses.

I disagree, I think the wipers would have worked fine, the snow would have not been frozen to the windscreen and would have brushed off easily. I'm not mocking, I'm being factual.

Cars covered in snow in winter............whatever next. I am sure the car would have had wipers that work. Some folk are too careful and hold up everyone else.

2000 was not the last year of the 90's but it was the last year of that decade which started in 1991. A year has not passed until the end of that particular year. Therefore, when time begun, it started on the first day of 0AD, 1 year had not passed until Dec 31st, it then would become 1AD. Continue from there, then after the ten December 31st's a decade has passed, therefore every decade should be starting with a year with 1 in it, ie 11, 121, 1991, 2001,2011. So, we need to find somebody who was around when BC ended and AD started, wheres Johnboy.

OK guys, and girls I am getting fed up hearing on TV that the new decade has begun. I am not so sure it has. I believe it begins at the start of 2011.
