  1. Hamilton could be sponsored by Teachers Forres Mechanics by garages direct
  2. I'm sure I heard MFR saying he was ready for the weekend, unlike Golly who will reportedly be missing.
  3. Ok, we had a wee debate over this thread and while it is asking a hypothetical question, it is more about the strengths of managers at other clubs and if they would be suitable. The time has not come......yet.......for this question so we have decided to put it in the non ict at present, as neither is this a rumour, but the topic will remain open. Personally, I would leave the present pairing alone to get on with their jobs until it becomes untenable, at the moment they are tenable............I like that word, the only time I have ever seen it used is in reference to a football manager..................so, if that word isn linked to your name, look out.
  4. Quick to heap criticism on Rooney but no mention of the fact that it was his shot on the turn that brought about our first goal against Well. Much the same starting eleven for me if Hayes is fit. Imrie on opposite wing and Duncan and Cox in the deep hole. That just leaves the decision regarding Lionel rossco and Proc to sort out.
  5. OK top six. Thanks for clarifying the aim of the post. I will however be moving this to the rumours forum as we are still only half way through our season. There is merit in continuing the discussion and if and when the time comes for a change of management then we will have plenty of options for chewing over. At this point in the season though, it is maybe inappropriate to undermine the position of the present team as they are trying to achieve someting.
  6. Charles, some people (like me) have trouble reading your posts with all the big words in them, thank christ for online dictionaries. Not everyone can be bothered checking over their words/grammar, I remember making a mistake once upon a time. Txt spk is frowned upon, but grammar and spellnig errors are part of life I'm afraid, so like the darts athletes, or would you prefer toxophologists, learn to live with it. Please remember that there are some people on here who may suffer from dyslexia, a spelling error or misplaced comma is not always what it seems.

    You're cynical.
  8. I take it the glass is still half empty then bread.
  9. Murray marches on beating Frenchman Marc Gicquel 6-1 6-4 6-3 And the ICT connection at the Assie Open also continues with Elena Baltacha knocking out world No 31 Kateryna Bondarenko 6-2 7-5, and now faces Dinara Safina in the third round.
  10. Thanx Mr Snow, thats two people that read the stuff I write then. Look out for granty24's official unofficial report on the main page, it's ready for the admin to publish when they get a chance.
  11. I see that the voice of rugby Bill McLaren has died at the age of 86. He was always so knowledgable about his sport and a pleasure to listen to. Listening to him and the likes of Eddie Waring made viewing these sports most enjoyable.
  12. I will have to give this some serious consideration.
  13. Cheers Chibberooney, just putting my angle across, but you aint seen nothin yet as young Granty24 is doing the report for CTO. Stan the man, you will be back in the Capital by eight o'clock surely. And Lady Sovereign is better behaved than some of our fans, but you will go the same way as her.
  14. Until we have a settled management structure then we can't offer any promises to anyone.
  15. One swallow and all that.............but I believe we have been building towards this for some time now and whilst I don't expect us to crush every team we play from now on in, I do think we are giving ourselves a decent platform to build upon.
  16. It's one of the words I heard shouted as he warmed up I think it was. It seems to be a continuation of the little song aimed at him previously. "Only Sixteen" was the tune, with sixteen being substituted with the word thirteen. Are you hinting that you are the perpetrator of the anti Imrie brigade?
  17. It matters to the context of the question. If it was an official comment then it's ludicrous, if it is heresay, then it's ludicrous to believe it. Oho, I see it in the advert above, but that indicates that is only for the Kingsmills part surely. In this thread we have people slagging off the situation before it has even developed.
  18. Meanwhile, back at the match....................................... ..............little Jonny was in tremendous form. He was taking the proverbial out of the Well defenders right up to the point where he was bodychecked which resulted in the injury that ultimately forced him off the pitch. Great display of wing wizardy unseen for many a long year at Inverness. Imrie took on the mantle of wing wizard and did a wonderful job as well, taking the ball for many a lung burster in the second half and scoring a superb goal driving the ball hard through the defenders tackle as he cut in from the right flank on the edge of the box. The ball hit powerful enough to go take out the defender and nestle sweetly behind the Ruddy keeper. Maybe Imrie did milk the tackle that flattened him, but hey, Dundee were cute enough at that (Alba) and why should we be any different. Renegade must see things a little differently to most others, but I thought Rossco was superb at the back along with the other three, but Nauris was my MoM for his all round performance and squeezing the opener in was a bonus. Not for the first time this season he has made a nuisance of himself in the opposition box. Sign that papers boy. I was also on the Sanchez had a good game camp as well as Foran. Rooney was probably the least effective but not due to his workrate, just the way the game panned out. We seemed to revert to the days of yore and hitting on the break tactic which served us so well, with Imrie making numerous bursts forward late in the game, and it would have been no surprise had we sored a late clincher, just don't try the heading Dougie, that apart a great half game, that allied to Jonny's half game would surely have been a MoM contribution from Jonny Imrie...............or Dougie Hayes. No failures tonight, even with the defence seeming to get in a fankle in the bottom corner of the pitch and giving possession away three times in the one play. Esson was absolutely solid, standing big when the guy with the difficult name to spell (Jukeboxbits) tried his luck a couple of times from acute angles, but he was never going to beat Esson from there. Proctor was probably best suited to being left in the right back role and did well, Rossco looking like a new born left back. Grantie had some wonderful blocks and Nauris provided a bit of pace and solidity. Russel Duncan had his usual number of awry passes but worked tirelessly as did Coxy who is really starting to stand up. All the front boys hustled and bustled and gave the Well defence a difficult time and even the much maligned Eagle came on and almost scored with his first run into the box but he shot weakly at the keeper from fifteen yards left of goal. Hey ho and on we go, the only dark side being the comments aimed at Mr Imrie (respect) I think he answered the numpties perfectly with his energetic display and his ssshhhhh to the culprit made my day. If he can continue playing like this he can be as arrogant as the claims make out for all I care, it's what happens on the park that interest me. Add a better choice of final ball and we have some player on our hands. So....................Killie pies it is, bring it on.

    Imrie

Well said Libero. Keep up the good work while you continue to play for ICT Dougie. Last nights performance from you was back to it's best, running down the wing, chasing lost causes, and general harrassment for the defenders and a goal to boot, keep it up. Georgeios, where has anybody said it was all of section 'G'
  20. Where did the comment come from?
  21. Well, I'll tell you what, if you guys know who this prikk is, slap him on the back of the head before someone else does. Is this the same one that's inferring paedophilia.............these are serious allegations and should be backed up or shut up.

    Imrie

Imrie did very well last night, worked extremely hard for the team and scored a good goal. He was not impressed with some of the fans behind the goals though and stared out long and hard some of them after scoring. These are the guys who are good at the name calling. Leave it out guys, you are not doing anybody any favours with the abuse.
  23. So................... Would all those that slated the no pies disgrace like to apologise. Plenty of grub for those that bothered to turn up.
  24. He has played in goals before, when our keeper was sent off I think, so he probably has played in every position imaginable. some better than others.
  25. The man that spell checkers were invented for............... only jesting georgy
