Quick question
Good one yngwie................from BBC site Clyde 4-1 Inverness CT Shellshocked Inverness endured the worst possible preparation to Sunday's Scottish Cup clash against Celtic as they lost heavily at Clyde. The visitors were three goals down after only 16 minutes. With only 16 seconds gone and before they had even touched the ball Clyde had scored, Steve McConologue knocking in the opener. Then, in the seventh minute, Andy Millen's speculative 35-yard strike beat goalkeeper Mark Brown. Worse was to follow for Inverness as teenager Mark Gilhaney drove in a third. With Barry Robson prominent, Caley Thistle at last came into the game as the left-winger pulled a goal back with a long-range effort after 26 minutes. After that Inverness steadied and it was not until four minutes from time that Clyde completed the scoring through substitute Paul Shields. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Clyde: Halliwell, Potter, Kernaghan, Fraser, Mensing, Ross, Millen, McConalogue, Hagen, Keogh, Gilhaney. Subs: Bossy, Shields, Falconer, Cosgrove, Morrison. Inverness CT: Brown, McCaffray, Mann, Munro, Golabek, Tokely, Hart, McBain, Robson, Wyness, Hislop. Subs: Stewart, Bagan, Ritchie, Keogh, Fraser. The week before the Celtic cup game we beat Arbroath 3-1 away from home. One from Hislop and two from a guy called Wyness.

Midweek games
Well done to Reading tonight, they just dumped Liverpool out of th FA cup at Anfield and desrvedly so. Their performance was a bit like ICT pumping Celtic in the cup. For a team struggling in the Championship (21st) they were taking Liverpool apart on the wings and made them look static. A breath of fresh air and they looked more like a team in the premiership. And all this without a manager, a team with no wins in their last five league games. SuperReadinggoballisticLiverpoolareatrocious.................

Morton Roll Call
Apparetntly there are problems in the Aviemore/Kingussie area today, vehicles stuck. Not sure if it's fresh snow or just ice on top of the melting stuff.

Robson Moving On
No, and I'm not going to spend time searching for them, but somewhere in the back of my mind is the suggestion that it has happened. Did we not have a case in Scotland where a player or players were not being played first team games to keep them below a X amount of appearances which would have earned the selling club more dosh............or is my head pickled.

Scottish Cup and The Great Freeze
Lets not get carried away with what if's. What if an earthquake swallowed all the fans up on the way to the game....what if those that stayed at home had there houses burned down in a great fire.....what if... Responsible risk assessment is what will determine the outcome. If the risks are greater than the need to play the game then it won't be played.

Great strike from Eric......
Is it no about time someone at the club got the PR into gear and enlightened the fans a little. The great strike from Eric came on the 14th of November against Airdrie United. We must be the worst at parting with any info on the official site. Injuries, suspensions, signings, etc. Come on ICT, there are a lot of people looking for info, spill the beans please.

Robson Moving On
I'm sure there has been cases where players have been contracted to realise some cash if they played at a higher level, international caps etc, therefore if someone had a bit of foresight is it possible that we may benefit from this deal............

Motherwell Game Off
But the game was not being played today. They are taking into account the weather for the weekend. There are more pressing things for the polis to be doing than keeping an eye on three thousand half canned football fans, some of whom will have to return to the central belt in total darkness over one of the most notorious routes in Britain, is sub zero temperatures. Whats wrong with folk.

Motherwell Game Off
Much discussed topic on here, how many games have been called off at Inverness. Well, according to the Courier on Tuesday, if the reporter has done his homework correctly, then here they are:- 20th Jan 2001------Morton------Frozen pitch 24th Feb 2001------Raith--------Snow 1st Jan 2003--------County-----Frozen pitch 11th Jan 2003------Arbroath----Frozen pitch 28th Feb 2004------Clyde-------Frozen pitch 10th Apr 2004------Brechin-----Fixture clash???? 13th Feb 2005------Celtic-------Waterlogged pitch So the County game is the eighth game called off at the Tulloch (Longman) Stadium since ICT started playing there.

Motherwell Game Off
I believe the pitch is OK at the moment, the stumbling block will be the police allowing the game to go ahead with the road conditions and the resource availibility. As far as I know the main routes are ok, it's the minor roads that are the issue.
