  1. If it were only five people booing him whilst warming up then it's five people too many. If they don't perform well during the game, different kettle of fish and this can and will lead to calls of " sort it out chaps", or "come on lads". Good call jaggy thistle, frustration during games does lead to some strange shouts, but before the game..... give it a rest.
  2. I certainly won't be clapping and cheering Broon, but I doubt I will be booing him either. Maybe a few choice rants at him though. :023:
  3. Deeno's sports bar in the town centre is where most away fans gather. Bottom end of Academy Street. Plenty screens in there to watch early footie. Any town centre bar is around the same distance to stadium about 30 minute walk.
  4. Woohoo I'll need to buy a hat now.
  5. I know where it comes from, but what about tin can fan, are you a fan of tin cans man.
  6. OK then, some usernames are self explanatory, like scotty or Alex Macleod (no imagination) others like mine display my pleasure at watching a real footballer, but others like............neksor...........yngwie..........mantis smee, what are these ones all about
  7. Probably one of his best moments clacher, but sadly for him they were few and far between. He will make a decent first division player and maybe get back to the SPL if he ups his workrate. He does have some neat touches and a decent left foot but needs to work harder. Anyway, best of luck to him.

  9. :rotflmao: You are confusing yourself now :sillywave: Marius and Dennis can and will play together, until Brew is fit.
  10. ZIBI ROSSCO CAFF KERR VIGURS BAZZA GILLESPIE MORGAN HART BAYNE RORY Windy afternoon ruined any chance of silky football First decent chance to us around 22 mins, when Bayne took cross on chest and layed it off to Bazza who shot from18 yards with left foot but it flew a couple of yards over. Bayne in fact might have been better trying to knock the ball over the keeper but he elected to lay it off. Zibi then blocked a drve from 8 yards low to his left. Free kick to us and from 26 yards Bazza curled a shot towards the keepers top right but he clawed the ball away for a corner, good save. Plenty posession and forward breaks from us but no penetration. Bayne looking decidedly ordinary against buddies reserves. St Mirren then had a wee flurry of activity and a shot from edge of box sailed over. Scrappy stuff overall in the blustery conditions. Sweeping move around the thirty six minute mark saw Bazza cross to Bayne who layed it off for Hart and he hit a decent left footer from 22 yards to the same corner Bazza's free kick went, but once again the keeper was equal to it and produced another top drawer save. From resultant corner, wee scramble but ball hacked clear eventually. Soon after clearest chance of the game for Mirren as they burst to life and a free header from six yards went harmlessly over. Mirren shot deflected for corner but Rossco cleared as the half time approached. Second half saw no change to pattern of play or team selections. Guy Kerr booked for late trip on forward trying to burst through, no complaints there. Deep corner from Mirren saw a shot wide left from eight yards. Great sliding power tackle from Rossco saw him set up another attack, Rory flicked on to Bayne but the move fizzled out. Around the fifty five mins good cross and shot by Saints saw Zibi make a comfortable clutch to his midrift. Good handling and distribution by him most of the game, barring one low driven clearance, but he got away with it. Hart was starting to find room to drive at the heart of the Mirren defence but the shot or last pass was always blocked by the hard working Mirren defence. Another run by Hart saw Vigurs hit a shot across the keeper but again he parried the ball to safety. Mirren next to show and a tasty cross had the wifies gasping, but there were no takers at the far post. Seventy minutes and Rory tried a dipping lob volley which went fairly close but the keeper looked happy with it going wide. Dean Macdonald came on for Dale Gillespie. Game frittered away after that as the windy conditions took it's toll. Plenty of effort but alas no goals. Dale tried hard but could not get into the game and it passed him by, but the same could be said for 'cult hero' Deano, he came on and never had a look in. Zibi looked good with quick distribution and cool kicking and passing. Of the real reserves, Guy Kerr looks to be an outstanding prospect and Iain Vigurs has a great left peg. Bazza Hart and Rossco looked good and Morgan twisted and turned but could not find the killer pass or shot. And Rory, he battered away, had some half chances but like everyone else the wind probably was the winner today. Bayne was mostly ineffective and his control was, well, what control. He lost more ball than he won, lets just say it was very windy.

  12. Hey wifies, reserve game tomorrow Tuesday 4th December against St Mirren. 14:00 kick off.
  13. what bugs me is women drivers driving too close behind me and stealing my spray get yer own water.
  14. Closer to 30 yards I would suggest. Remember the furthest point of the D is 22 yards, therefore basing it on that it's maybe 28 to 30 yards. Neat goal either way, a cheeky wee floater.
  15. Mr no knees gave our defence a hard time earlier this season, but we seemingly coped better this time. :003:

  18. Good to hear Mike getting some decent press. Commentators yesterday were magnanimous in their praise for his game. They reckoned he gets better everytime they see him. His kicking was praised to the hilt, very long and very accurate, except one. Keep the consistency going Mike. :clapping03:

  21. Blackieforce, bear in mind IHE has been moderated for the very same thing, being abusive towards people it would therefore be unfair for others to be abusive to him, or anybody for that matter. The rules of the site are clearly defined and some form of moderation is required or else it deteriorates into a free for all. There is a difference between downright abuse and a bit of banter, although it can be a very fine line at times and is in the eye of the beholder, if they see it as abuse then that is how the moderation team will deal with it. Anyway, lets keep the thread on topic please and report any abuse to the moeration team and it will be dealt with on it's own merits. Happy yet?............I was never sad............well except for after the Motherwell game. :003:
