  1. Oh well, why start a new thread I thought, I'll search for the old one :015: Yes I agree Davie, I also thought he would be shown the door, but reasoning has prevailed and he looks like he will be staying, good decision, lets hope it is a lesson learned for all.
  2. What did you realistically expect from todays game. This is a team that thumped Celtic 3-0 and drew with Barcelona recently. I tend to agree with Brewster that we have not played too badly recently. Yes we have made mistakes, and it is these mistakes that are costing us games. Don't think it was mistakes that cost us today, just beaten by a better team full of multi million pound players, difficult to compete with that. Never mind, back in our own league for next few games.
  3. Brewster sounded upbeat despite the bad start, he accepts that the result was probably right but we also had two or three half chances so all in all not too despondent.
  4. Ach well, kept the score down after the worst possible start, maybe rode our luck at times but sounded as though we also had a couple of near moments, still no points but probably what was expected of us.
  5. BBC seems to be stuck in UK as well, radio commentary was late on air for me.
  6. This one might interest me big boy, I'll be in touch. :021:
  7. I say well done Ross P I also had some geeks behind me at Easter road a couple of years ago spouting drivel everytime Rossco got the ball. I won't add the swears but it went along the lines of why give him the ball he is sh*** why does he get a game...........you get the drift, think it was the season after Ross swept the boards in the player awards. These are probably not true supporters, more like guys from Inverness living in Edinburgh and out on the lash. I eventually turned round and told them to shut the ?()*$ up and got a similar response, shrug and verbals. Thankfully they moved along a bit at half time but the constant sniping spoils the day out. No need for the racist abuse, is it not an offence?
  8. I accept full responsibility for his actions.
  9. Thought that would wake you up from your self imposed exile. Did you see me type my opinion is more valid because I am male? How is the second division anyway, is it easier to understand for you.
  10. At least one old git has a positive tale from last night. Oh dear, the CIS cup is so important they could not even make the draw for the next round without making a mess of it. For Christ's sake, there were only four teams left and they still corked it up.
  11. Criticise away EWS, you are pretty good at it. There are a lot of valid points, especially the lack of defensive signings, that for me is the biggest issue, but to say we are not playing well and even to suggest it's the worst we have played since joining the SPL is lies, **** lies, of course I will clarify that by saying it is only my opinion. We played great football at Easter road, tearing Hibs apart........we still lost 1-0, through bad luck and another penalty, slightly harsh but nonetheless a penalty, but we did play well. We tore Falkirk a new erse, and also lost a couple of goals to them, but we did play well, yes we made errors, but we still played well. I was not at last nights game, but reliable sources have told me we gifted the game to Aberdeen despite playing decent football. Yes only one winner, especially after giving them a two goal start, which turned into a three goal start through another blunder from our inexperienced keeper, but in doing so and then chasing the game, we still created enough to get back level. Some of the posts coming in make it sound like we will be relegated but for Gretna, the living dream team. Sorry, I don't buy that as I believe we will finish above one or two others, notably Falkirk, St Mirren and Motherwell, with Killie and Hearts not much further ahead. Criticism/opinions are great, but don't confuse it with lies, which lead the weak astray and down the road to ruin, a road of doom and gloom from which there is no return and probably two new teams in the Highland League. Brew will come in for some flak as well, I don't think it is justified either, he is not perfect, but he is the manager, our job is to get behind him unless the situation becomes perilously close to relegation, but we are a long way away from that. How many managers do we see asking women when he should make a substitution, don't recall that happening this year, or even asking someone in the stand when he should make the substitution. I say let the guy get on with his job, after all, he will rise or fall by the decisions he makes. Lets look at it from my perspective. We are out of the CIS cup. We never lost any ground in the SPL, our SPL goal difference did not suffer, we never beat the Dons (boo hoo) but hey nobody died. If that is too happy clappy for you then drink more, all will become clear. If you want to see football with panache, go over the btidge with some of our deserters and feel the second division, yes folks the second division, because that is what failure looks like.
  12. ...........and it's everyones fault. We have Brew reverting to type, lack of substitutions at the right time, Marius not up to it, Bayne starting, worst ever performance, long ball rubbish, disillusionment, Caff not good enough, Mikey not of the required standard, Hastings not in Canada, Tokely posted missing, pontification.......what, yes, pontification, no Dods, pre season in the Highland League, dilly and dally, (bit like Ant & Dec), hysteria, Dean Macdonald, reverse psychology, mismanagement, wages, pass backs, penalties, you tube, sharp intakes of breath, students on roll-ups, and names being hidden by numbers on the away tops. All this because we lost a game of football to Aberdeen. By all accounts the main difference was our unforced errors....................what the heck, we have played some decent stuff so far this year and yes we need a couple of players. Lets all have a reality check.........ok mine is done, we are in the SPL, we will not win it, we will not get relegated this season, and we will not win all of our games, but hey, lets have a blame culture, it has to be someones fault. Lets blame the fans for whipping up the frenzy. :010:
  13. Pointless competition now, no qualification for anything, it just gets in the way of the bread and butter. Shown up when the 'best fans' in the world only filled one third of their stadium for an all SPL clash with Jambo's.
  14. diddy cup :010: now we can concentrate on relegation I mean top six.
  15. Well, he came on after 78 minutes and did this 83:17 Shot by Marius Niculae (Inverness CT) left-footed from left side of penalty area (12 yards), save (caught) by Jamie Langfield (Aberdeen). 87:45 Shot by Marius Niculae (Inverness CT) drilled left-footed from left channel (25 yards), missed right. Goal kick taken long by Jamie Langfield (Aberdeen). 90:00 (0:23) Header by Marius Niculae (Inverness CT) from centre of penalty area (6 yards), save (caught) by Jamie Langfield (Aberdeen). or so the BBC web site said anyway. After the game he handed his wage packet to johnboy to distribute amongst the fans............allegedly :023:
