  1. Bozo, it appears that your future is always bleak, glass half empty, Scrooge like.......... You do make some valid discussion points but for me the neverending story for Charlies head on a plate detracts from any theories you have. When ICT entered the SPL, what did you really expect to happen? Did you think we were going to sweep all before us and win the league before Xmas? Did you really think we would be in the top six? Did you really think we would qualify for Europe? Some folk.... Charlie has been criticised fo making realistic comments about the team firstly avoiding relegation, hey, that is real life, that is what we must do every season. He is on a hiding to nothing here, the guy from the lotto job wins Champions League, aye, dream on. It's like all the people championing Caff for weeks, well well, look what happened when he got a game. Don't get me wrong, I think he is a decent player, but it's easy for people to slag off others and say we should have done this.....or that........or put on this sub......or whatever, but how do we know that it would actually have altered events in real life, we have no way of proving if they would be correct until it happens, it's like saying...........we would have won the game if we left Dargo on............prove it! Have your say, but give the manager and his colleague some support, through the good and hard times. The only thing that have made him a bad manager is that we have become too predictable, teams have sussed us out, Charlie himself has not altered his approach so why is he getting all the stick. I am disappointed with the results of the last two weeks, but hey ho, it's a funny old game, although I bet you are not laughing the now. :019: How about it, deal or no deal.
  2. :010: Not the best start then :crazy07:
  3. Quite frankly, we have gone stale. All the other clubs know what to expect from us and how much rope they can give us. We are now predictable without having the flair players to unlock tight defences. Our previously watertight defence has started shipping goals and the strikers purple patch from last season has gone pale. The midfield has no leader, someone to take control, Rankin has not been the Messiah we were searching for. Lots of theories already put forward, a lot of them plausible. We are the same team we were earlier on this season..........same old same old, but the rub of the green has not gone our way since Aberdeen spoiled our night. Still, if we can buy shrewdly in January, then I believe we will finish above relegation. The league has probably sorted itself out by now, top six, and bottom six. All those who thought CC was talking rubbish when he said our main aim is to avoid relegation.............look at us now, the line between success and failure is a very fine one. We should be proud of what our team has achieved in a short time, but the longer we are in the SPL, the harder it will be to maintain our status there. Success for us has already been achieved, for ICT there is probably only one way to go, lets hope we take it gracefully when it comes along.
  4. birthday suits :blush02:
  5. What I don't like about most articles on this, they all said a challenge from Ian Black. They are all making it sound as though Black injured him, he ferkin injured himself fouling Black who was breaking away from him on the halfway line. All these stories will do nothing to help Blacks cause with the referees.
  6. Could have been worse, you could have been out walking the dog up the top of a steep hill in the rain at three o' clock on Saturday :walking02: :dog01:
  7. I agree Chipper, who would you go to if you had a problem/query at your work, you would go to your manager. Stop the posturing Craig and speak to Charlie please. Can you believe he has been subbed so many times and has not asked Charles why :024: Doesn't make sense to me. On the other hand, maybe it's because he has not been scoring goals.
  8. I firmly believe we should be charging them with electricity, I think the batteries have gone a little flat this last few weeks. :microwave:
  9. What rubbish you see posted on here from so called fans.............have you tried Ross County?

  13. Nice run of winable games coming up for ICT DEC 2 Motherwell home DEC 9 Dundee United away DEC 16 Killie home DEC 23 Dunfermline away DEC 27 Rangers (20:00) home DEC 30 Falkirk away JAN 1 St Mirren home Lots of points to be had this month from the teams round about us and these games could determine where we will eventually end up in the league. A decent run will push us back into the top six, whereas a disastrous set of results will see us battling it out in the bottom quarter. Heres hoping for a wee boost starting today against the Well. We managed six points away last season, but unfortunately lost all six at home, therefore I don't expect an easy ride today. Last season Motherwell were the team who could have given us our biggest home defeat, but we got away with a 1-2 loss after going ahead then the wheels fell off about five minutes before half time. Second half wee Skippy led our defenders a merry dance and we were fortunate not to concede five or six goals. No cause for complacency then, and I am sure CC and Parky will have the lads fired up for what should be an interesting and maybe turgid affair, lets hope with a bit of entertainment thrown in. The players are finding it difficult to get the right balance between attacking and defending as reported on text, this has shown in some of the displays, but the last couple against the Don's and moreso against the Jambo's have shown that when we play the passing game, we can open up defences, all we need is the run of the ball in front of goal and someone to take the risk and complete the good work. Forget the Xmas shopping, forget the local pubs (between three and five), and get down to the stadium and get the December show on the road, the guys on the park need some support so lets get right behind them.... win or lose.

  15. I see that Henrik Larsson has signed a three month loan at Manchester United in the January window. :010:
  16. Spot on CC. He is a total realist and does not buy into the top six/Eoropean debates. As he says, if we are still in proximity to the top six come March, then a big push for it will begin, otherwise, we will be looking over our shoulder till the season closes.
  17. smells pooey :toilet01:
  18. Sippy River,
  19. :017: A big man with a limp what??
  20. CC indicating on teletext that Zander may indeed play a part this weekend against Well. :003:
  21. Keogh played in the reserve game against Hibs this week. Incidentally, McSwegan limped off heavily after injuring his ankle, maybe went over it not sure, looked in a lot of pain though.
  22. Correct Alex.............When is yer 970th Birthday anyway. :023:
