My views are fairly similar Mr Ender. Brown and penalties, hmmnn, why does he always go the opposite way from the ball, it's a mystery. Rossco getting a lot of slagging this season, leave him alone, he is grafting away and still finds the time to get forward although his distribution is woeful at times. Dods, Indian summer springs to mind, three goals in recent games is not a bad return for a stopper, agree about his didtribution, he tends to kick the ball the way he is facing, just as well he was facing the goals on Wednesday. Grantie, had a fabulous game against Rangers, distribution again not his strong point but the occasional long diagonal ball finds Bazza, must watch Bobby's video. Hastings is now showing his worth on the left wingback role, if only he could hit the byeline more and deliver a telling cross more often, we would then get the benefits of his marathon sessions, these high hanging crosses are bread and butter for most keepers, but then again, theres always Zibi and Higgins :015: Bazza, sometimes much maligned, but he is still the man most likely to drift past defenders and have a pop, no wonder he tires, he does put in a good shift most games, when he is in the mood, we look good. Blackie, this boy is a must for the team selection, can outjump six foot six inch centre halfs, is good on the ball, tackles........sometimes good, sometimes bad, has an attitude, or is it wee boy chip on the shoulder syndrome, but sometimes you need that, it is part of his game, it is his motivation, take that out of the boy and we would be having another invisible man, channeled aggresion is the way forward for him and display all the talents that he undoubtedly possesses. Yes, the invisible man, he has had some slagging recently and maybe some justified, need an end product from him which makes me think Morgan could do this job and give us an extra goal threat. Rankin, the new goalden boy, well done for sticking with it son. You were anonymous for the first dozen games but if you take more responsibilities you can go on to become a very important player for us. Always look to get in the left foot dig, but a bit shot shy on the right foot, however, you gave us a night to remember on Wednesday, keep it up. Bayne, fantastic stuff against the big money boys, not always the most silky but gives his all every game, keep plugging away and surely the goals will come, you have a lot of people needing some humble pie, let them eat it. Wyness, always great at holding the ball up, seldom wastes it and if there is any defender who can stop the scoop-double shuffle fairly I have yet to see him. They know its coming but they still can't help themselves. We must get the ball to Denzil below neck height and he will do the rest. Unlucky not to score in recent weeks but the goals will come. Dargo, fully fit and buzzing will be a threat to any defence with his pace, good running off the ball, just wonder if he wants to be here or the lure of the lira will take him elsewhere, but as shown on Wed, there will be life after Dargo. 10CC, keep dodging the rubber bullets and learn to live with the slaggings that go with the job and you will earn a Carribean break.........a sort of dreadlock holiday. enjoy it while it is here.

Good call Yngwie The invisible man disappears as soon as he steps on the pitch, as I said before I have the photo's to prove it. However, he did appear more often in the Rangers game, but with no end product from him, I would have thought that Morgan may be the straight replacement for him.

hmmmnn It all seemed plausible until the last line :015:

No no no, it was not a brilliant performance, Rangers were rubbish..............well according to Le Goon and the Daily Record. :019: 28 December 2006 PLG: WE'RE RANK ROTTEN By James Traynor PAUL LE GUEN launched an attack on his Rangers players last night just minutes after they had slumped to yet another embarrassing defeat. The Ibrox side were beaten for the second time in just over two months by Inverness Caley Thistle, the SPL's smallest club, and the Frenchman's anger was matched only by his disgust. This was easily Rangers' worst performance of the season. They were abysmal and Le Guen was stuck for words to explain his team's return to the dark days. Nacho Novo gave them the lead from the penalty spot, but Darren Dods and John Rankin scored two great goals plunging Le Guen and Rangers' fans into the depths of despair. Le Guen made it clear that his patience with his under-achievers, such as Filip Sebo, has all but run out. Struggling to contain his anger after the 2-1 defeat he couldn't even find any comfort in a remarkable performance by keeper Allan McGregor. Instead the agony of watching his players fail to match their opponents' desire was too painful. He said: "I don't know if this was the poorest we have played but it was not one of the best. I am unhappy with the entire team." However, having paid £1.8m for Sebo, Le Guen is very angry with the Slovak. But he said: 'I don't want to single anyone out but some have not made the most of their chances." Asked if he would be rushing into the transfer market when the window opens next week he said: "There would be no point in signing players just for the sake of it. They would have to be better." Perhaps someone had better tell him there are better players than some of his running around on local playing fields. Inverness boss Charlie Christie couldn't speak highly enough of his team. He said: "This is a bigger achievement than winning at Ibrox. "I'm just glad we were able to put on a performance like this with the television cameras present."

Thats the stuff Mantis, we could be seventh after tonight, CC will be knighted and win MoM again, Brown will save a penalty, Bayne will score a hat-trick, Black will not get booked, Zander will play the whole game, Wyness will start sweating, Roy will become visible, Duncan will pass to one of his own team, (miracles take longer to work), and the home fans will sing. Well, maybe Brown saving a penalty is stretching the imagination a bit, otherwise, keep yer pecker up.

I'm bored with all this now, I shall send a virus to Bozo and his glum chums, enjoy.

I'm with you Beach, I am fed up with the knockers as well. Tough game tonight, and we will be up against it, but so far, all games against the Rangers have been settled by just one goal. I am sure the guys will do their best, lets just hope it is good enough. -
I have never seen so much guff written by 'expert analysts' about a subject we once again know everything about. But one line that is being misconstrued is the finishing 11th and 10th. Surely the rationale behind this was that we can build on this over a number of years without being accused of failure. The sudden lurch to the verge of the top six has left very little leeway for anything, we are almost at our maximum with the current squad. Now that CC is the manager the only way is down, I don't mean relegation, but maybe not finishing so high up the league. I hope all you CC bashers are happy with the undermining of his confidence, because you are only contributing to the downfall of the team, well done. Once again CC can't do right for doing wrong.

Are you hanging up your stockings on a wall ? It's the time that every centre has a ball Does he ride a red nosed reindeer ? Do a 'ton up' on a sleigh Do the fairies keep him sober for a day ? So here it is merry Christmas Everybody's having fun Look to the future now It's only just begun Are you waiting for your family to arrive ? Are you sure you got the room to spare inside ? Does your granny always tell ya that the old songs are the best ? She'll be up and rock 'n' rollin' with the rest So here it is merry Christmas Everybody's having fun Look to the future now It's only just begun What will your daddy do If he sees ure mama kissin' Santa claus ? Ah ah Are you hanging up your stockings on a wall ? Are you hoping that the snow will start to fall ? Do you ride on down the hillside in a buggy you have made ? When you land upon your *** then you've been slayed So here it is merry Christmas Everybody's having fun Look to the future now It's only just begun So here it is merry Christmas Everybody's having fun Look to the future now It's only just begun So here it is merry Christmas Everybody's having fun Look to the future now It's only just begun

Ahh, the old best form of defence is attack, lets just counter whinge with a whinge. Did we lose, no. Did we lose a goal, no. Did we get outplayed, no. Established SPL team, no. Punch above blah blah, no. Are we playing poor, yes. Do I expect anything else, no. Am I gratefrul..........yes. We did the old play decent football but lose thing against Killie, in retrospect I would rather have taken a point or three. Remember, if you do that every week, you will get relegated. Moan all you like, it's your prerogative, I like a good moan as well, but the guys need a break from this, it's Xmas, enjoy your turkey. IHE, get back in yer sub, you are depressing me :015: Sandy..............have you got piles?

:015: I feel for CC, he is on a hiding to nothing and people on here are only adding to the fuel to undermine his position. He may be to polite to say it, but for fecks sake can we all just give the guy a break, it's a difficult enough task without the 'I told you so' brigade on here gloating every time ICT fail to thrash someone. He is trying his best and he cares a lot for this club, some of the 'supporters' would do well to remember this and show the same loyalty. :018:

Well said CC, wish I had read this first, would have saved me writing war & peace :003:

Look in the mirror, do you know who that person really is? What is it with everybody just now. Why don't you all just get it off your chest and say what you really think. We on this forum have developed in to a bunch of moaning gits, a whole screed of Richard Wilsons. What the feck is wrong with us, we are all having a really bad time of the month. Stand back and take a look at yourself, should we really be criticising people about something we know little about. How many of us have been SPL footballers? How many of us have been managers of an SPL club? How many of us have a clue about what we are typing? If the answer to any of the questions is no, then why do we all feel the urge to come on here and girn. Some of the posters on here could girn for Scotland, nae Britain, even Olympic standard. When you don your wee red white and blue scarf on a Saturday lunchtime, do you expect to see Real Madrid playing at the Tulloch stadium or do you think for a minute that only ICT will turn up. We seem to have forgotten our roots pretty quickly and are now turning against our once beloved wee teuchter team. We are playing in the top league in this country, it's not our fault the standard is mediocre. When things are not going to plan, why don't we just ask for the manager to be sacked, bring me the head of Charlie Christie, why stop there, why not sack the board. What is wrong with us, normally placid folks getting all worked up over a game of football, step back, take stock and get a grip of reality. We have evolved into weegie like morons who think we should win every game, hey, I have got news for you, we never will win every game, we should enjoy it while we are here, it may not last for ever. We are what we are, no more, no less............. Give it a rest, don't they know it's Xmas time. Oh, happy Xmas ya moaning bunch.

Good to see you are remaining upbeat throughout this trying period. We are ICT, we are not Brazil.
