  1. Don't care where, when or whether or not it is on tele. We have made it to a semi-final and I will be there cheering my team on. Cmon Inverness.
  2. Just noticed my passport expires in October. Better get organised.
  3. Excellent result yesterday in very trying conditions. Nick Ross played well and showed he is deserving of a start every week. Given our resources, being third in the league behind Aberdeen and Celtic is amazing and I feel that we are well equipped to still be there at the end of the season.
  4. Has anybody heard what is happening with Richie's recovery?
  5. I would go for Billy McKay as Adam Rooney took a lot of penalties - and scored them so well done him. But penalties kind of distort the figures as they are not goals from open play.
  6. Thanks for that Davie - good to know. Hopefully buses will be well supported and people book seats early.
  7. Any word yet on bus being organised for Hamilton game?
  8. haven't read the previous posts. Just on for a wee rant. Phoned ticket hotline to renew our season tickets. The female who answered couldn't even say Inverness Caledonian Thistle properly. I said "It's okay - I'll just phone the club" and hung up. Which is what I did and no hassle. If someone can't even pronounce club name properly I don't want to deal with them. I must be becoming a grumpy old git!! Rant over.
  9. But the Green Brigade also had drums - unfortunately.
  10. Poor Aaron - he did well to play on
  11. I wonder if anyone else was as disgusted as I was with the events at Parkhead yesterday? Bit of a rhetorical question as I know some certainly were. The Green Brigade now having set up camp next door to visiting fans is ridiculous. There weren't that many Caley Thistle fans there but we usually manage to make a wee bit of noise to support our team. No chance yesterday as we were totally drowned out by the G B. I have no issue with them as a group but it would be better if they were put back over to the other side of the stand where they used to be, among their own fans. This would give visiting fans a fighting chance of building up a wee bit of momentum in their own singing. Then of course there was the case, in my eyes, of child abuse/ endangerment in front of the Green Brigade. A man with a child of maybe 3 on his shoulders, fair enough. But jumping up and down, clapping etc and not holding on to that child. I, and others, could not bear to look latterly. 4 police officers and 16 stewards were all looking in the direction of this man but nothing was done. I went to complain to a police officer at the end of the game - showed a photo also but the response was that if anyone had thought there was a danger something would have been done. Also everything is covered on CCTV so if anything is subsequently noticed action will be taken. If that child had fallen and been killed I wonder what the public enquiry would have found? Anyhow we made our way out of the stadium to the news that our drummer had not only had his drum wrenched away from him by one Celtic fan, he had also been hit on the back of the head by another. So we were all advised to get on the bus and make our way to the police station where statements would be taken from the witnesses. The main concern seemed to be getting the traffic flowing. After visit to police station we then proceeded on our way nome only for a missile to be hurled at our bus. The score somehow faded into insignificance. I have never had an issue with Celtic fans at Parkhead before but after yesterday I don't know if I will ever go back. Rant over.
  12. I could watch clip again and again. In fact I have - several times. Laugh out loud every time. I may be sad but I am happy!!
  13. Good news about bus to Celtic game. Agree with Lizi that supporters transport to Motherwell for last away game of the season would be fantastic. Again - come on people book your seats. The boys deserve a good turnout to thank them for a fantastic season with a few bumps along the way.
  14. I have booked my seat on buses to both games - come on people get booking.
  15. It is all very well to say we should go to police/ stewards if we have a problem. To do that you would have to point out the offending individuals and no doubt be seen doing this. Having one time told fans to moderate their behaviour or I would complain to stewards I was subjected to threats upon my person. Never again. These were not our own fans but Old Firm fans sitting among us in North Stand. I heard the song in question on Friday night but didn't catch the words. Hopefully most others didn't either. Our fans are fantastic at leading the singing at away games - it is just a small mindless minority that spoil it for others.
  16. Fantastic news. Now get wee Conor signed up. He's a wee dynamo.
  17. Oh I know plenty folk don't use the buses as have been on many half full, if that, this season. However, for a lot of people the buses are a safe, comfortable, stress free way of getting right to the ground without having to revert to public transport or their own vehicles. The lesson here is probably that anyone who wants to go on the supporters bus should let the organisers know well in advance. Cmon Inverness.
  18. Were you booked on the supporters bus for Wednesday and every other away game this season? Absolutely.
  19. What I find disappointing is that out of 7800 fans who turned up on Sunday only 6 were prepared to make the effort to go and support the team against Motherwell. This game is really important as far as getting into Europe is concerned. Must be very frustrating for those who organise supporters buses.
  20. I think what Izzy is trying to say is that she is disappointed that there is no supporters bus/ minibus available for fans who would like to go and support the team on Wednesday. I feel the same. She is not having a go at anyone who cannot make it for whatever reason.
  21. Excellent achievement. Now Inverness get right behind your team. They have done us proud.
  22. All the best Ross - a true ICT legend. No matter who you play for in the future against us I for one will never boo you.
  23. but of course for those able to make the game there is the Supporters bus.
  24. I'll be there. We will miss Richie and of course Davis has gone but am confident we can take something from the game.
  25. No way. I'm not moving in with the sweetie rustlers. (tongue firmly in cheek) We would probably be put down the bottom of the main stand and if it was pishing rain we would get soaked. Would rather watch it at home. I have my seat where it is for a reason - cos I love the atmosphere and it is right behind the goal. Also sheltered from weather. Anyway there were quite a few Celtic supporters in North Stand last game.
