We should have a top flight of 16, then 2 leagues of 14, a pyramid system in place with play offs for 2 promotion places between the non league winners. NO to old filth b teams, they will steal all the best yoof players giving the rest of us less chance. In spain the like of barca b have been winning the liga adelante which shows that even in a country the size of spain the dominance this gives them.

Reguero. It wold be a dodgy 1st game back for Esson and Reguero has done well. If we can't get a goal then bring on Esson for an outfield player and put Reguero up front.........

Just found out i'm getting away from work early to get up the road for this! :clapoverhead: Can't help feeling a little bit apprehensive. But fak it! we will refuse defeat at all costs. Definitely at least a point in it for us if we don't play well. If we play well then we will win by 2 clear goals.

King had a shocker today. And dave the rave just doesn't look good enough, surely meekings should be 1st choice rb. Its early days but terry needs to be shaking up his starting eleven.

Whatever positives that Foran does instill in the team doesn't take away from the fact that he struggles to keep a cool head when we're in the sh!t. I'm hoping he can learn from the rest of the guys attitude. Not his fault that we had a dodgy ref yesterday but he payed the price for getting wound up by decisions going against us, i doubt he would have fouled the boy like that if he kept it together. He is always going to have a fiery temperament and a mouth on him but it's all about using that as a positive by urging his team on not mouthing off at the officials, getting stuck in without going over the top and making daft two footed lunges in front of the ref.

There's no doubting his passion and commitment to the team BUT if he can't keep a cool head when we're 2-0 down then this kind of thing will happen again and again. Got to give huge credit to the rest of the team for knuckling down and putting on an incredible performance in the 2nd half to pull it back with 10 men against one of the strongest sides in the league. I hope Foran learns a lesson from that, he has been shown up by the younger lads on how to keep your heads together and get the job done. Also it would do Butcher a favour to recognise this and see how his captain can potentially ruin our chances of getting the results.
