  1. Certainly sounds like Imrie up front so another midfielder and Kerr could be just what we need with Cowie going.
  2. Lets hope so. Also lets hope Tel doesn't follow pele with alcohol.
  3. We have to go out of our way to sign him has the potential to be better than machine. Is it definetley just a loan?
  4. Kerr would be a major coup but don't think it would be disastrous if we didn't get any more amybe another midfielder might help as we are a bit short but on the whole i think we have a good squad capable of surviving the drop.
  5. Glad to see some fight and confidence instilled back in the team. As for good football who cares not me as long as we stay up. Zadi was awesome as were the whole team but are you sure that was the same Zadi as against Partick?
  6. Paterson aint in the SPL though so i think that would make it ok
  7. I think so yes as he is still one of if not the best player at the club and has a lot to offer. It all depends though how commited he is in training. But i feel Black will continue to give his all to try and prove himself to Laszlo as Hearts look like keeping Aguiar.
  8. Another positive move and i think even if only on loan for a short while a potentialy good signing and the same goes for Paterson- this is starting to look like a real good side.
  9. Hopefully it spells the end for Barrowman at caley. Impressed by the quality of these two lets hope there is plenty more to come.
  10. ------------------Esson------------------ --Tokely----Mihadjuks---Munro--Hastings-- --Cowie-----Duncan-----Black-----Vigurs-- ----------Rooney--------Wood------------ Subs:Fraser, Duff, Imrie, Morais, Barrowload, Maguire, Gathuessi
  11. Butcher has a big problem now as Cowie didn't lok interested since the speculation but now its concrete and he is leaving do you think he will even turn up? Not too big a loss judging by this season's performance.
  12. I think if his consistency improved then he could be a great player for us but all too often he seems to be way of the pace and almost looks out of his depth but other times he can look fantastic and by a mile our best player on the day so it all depends which Dougie Imrie turns up.

    Iain Vigurs

Vigurs looks to be a great prospect and i think has earned his place in the squad and one of the rare highlights to emerge from the Brewster regime
  14. He will automitically command a get the respect of the dressing room something Brewster was never capable of doing and i think although not my prefered choice i still think he can take us away from relegation and retain our SPL status.
  15. Archie Knox-not exactly my ideal choice for a manager but i suppose none of the candidates jump out at me.
  16. Anyone but malpas
  17. No not Paul Ince I still think Duffy would be a good shout failing that maybe Robbo. John Collins would be good but i don't think he would leave Belgium after only being there a short while.
  18. About time!! Brilliant news i can't believe how happy this has made me!!!
  19. Which makes you wonder how long they'd survive in Div1.... And then as a full-time club and maybe even just as a club.
  20. But i think the problem is if you look to our next 3 games we will probably get 0 points whereas hamilton are playing:Killie, Hearts & Motherwell so have a reasonable chance of picking up some points and Falkirk:Motherwell, Aberdeen & St Mirren so will almost certainly get some points there so we will be cut adrift for any new manager.
  21. Brew is just hoping one will turn out to be good.
  22. Is it just me or does being promoted and not progressing in the SPL and eventually being relegated cause so many problems for teams. Partick: relegated in 2 consecutive seasons. Livingston: Almost hit the wall St Johnstone: only really begginning to challenge in the last 2 years Dunfermline: Maintaining a challenge but not really looking like winning Dundee: near the bottom this season
  23. Since Brew has been here he seems obsessed to get rid of all the players at caley that he has not signed and wants to form a team that is totally his own. Its as if he is trying to prove he can manage but just fails and proves how inept he is. Outs: Wilson, Wyness, Niculae, Bayne, Rankin, Black(summer if not sooner) & porbably Cowie just to name some Ins: Morais, Gathuessi, Byrne, Barrowman, Rooney, Esson, Mihadjuks, Djebi-Zadi, Proctor, Maguire, Imrie that is enough to make a whole team not to mention Dinning will probably join. Is he just tyrying to sign as many players as he can and hope one turns out well. I fear for the postions of Duncan, McBain, Tokely and Munro as i fear they will be next to go as Brew continues to try and get rid of what has been the core of our team for several years. Brew out now!!
  24. Never. With more the majority of 1st division clubs being ex-SPL clubs (Partick, Livingston, Dunfermline, Dundee, St Johnstone there might be one other team) it has proven very difficult for all of them to even sustain a title challenge never mind win it. They all also have bigger fanbases so have more money as we would lose so many fans by getting relegated. That is if we survive the financial problems posed by relegation.
  25. Sad thing s i have heard very few noises in the way of names or even the word striker mentioned with connection to joining us.
