  1. I come across this almost daily, with customers who have been sold/conned with "high grade" HDMI cables, load of cobblers! the ones that come with the product are equally as good, anything over a tenner is really takin the p**h If it's 0 at one end it's a 0 at the other! The only folk to benefit from high priced interface cables are
  2. Just bought a new Toyota Prius Speak to y'all later Can't stop.....................
  3. Since it was valentines day,i thought "take the missus out, book the best table in the house, and give her a good night out" She still wisnae happy Say's she hates snooker :D
  4. Bit of a scunner, our game getting called off, however results couldn't have gone much better, short of you guy's dropping a point or three. All the chasing pack have to play each other and points will go,still happy with the position we're in,but pressure has been applied due to losing to County, the run in will be interesting, last day decider anyone?
  5. Nonsense like this and the case in Ayr with the copper charging folk for littering for dropping a 10 pound note, or blowing their nose whilst stationary in a car are really starting to stretch the credibility of the police. We all see and hear of serious crime going on and lack of resources etc whilst this kinda of nonsense goes ahead using up court time and police resources where's the "shakes head" smiley
  6. Having fun and enjoying yerself at a football match whatever next
  7. :( :( :(
  8. The best candidate to date by far for the CTO "word of the season" award! :( You stick wi me Charlie boy,eh'll broaden yer vocabulary wi words ya never kent existed :(
  9. Now,i'd go along to that right enough
  10. Wasnae havin a go BTW LG,just an observation,i know you folk put in a lot of time and effort ,and it's very disapointing when a lot of effort arranging is met with apathy, but new ideas are needed where fund raising is concerned.Good on ya's for trying the event at the Caley club, shame it wasnae better supported.
  11. Great article here,he say's he didn't sit on the ball "in that game anyway" played keepy up and generally took the proverbial, sure i remember footage of him standing on the ball and surveying the horizon looking for a team mate to pass too, great stuff JIm Baxter
  12. Your spot on Charles, clubs need to be a bit more imaginative and come up with more innovative ideas to part supporters from their hard earned.Formulaeic sportsmans dinners, exactly as you describe, and race nights (sorry Lady F) are past their sell by and new ideas are required.I would happily come along to ICT functions but as an "outsider" i need to feel i get value for my money and entertainment which to some extent we sometimes ignore if it's for "our" cause
  13. I think the last paragraph is probably the most relevant JB qoute:- So it seems that local authorities can place cameras wherever they please. The penalties for breaking government guidelines are unknown and it's doubtful that any action can lawfully be taken against authorities who choose to ignore them. The only implication, which is a certainty, is that motorist will further resent the authorities for breaching the rules.
  14. Spot on Mannie,I'm no boy racer but the revenue collecting safety camera locations on the A9 and A96,IMO, have no bearing on road safety but are placed where drivers may see an opportunity to overtake and make progress safely, only to discover they have gained another 3 points towards losing their liveliehood and thus end up giving a dispraportionate amount of attention to the speedo and looking for cameras in the future. I would have no issue with all residential streets and built up areas being 20 zones and am very aware of the dangers and of speeding but on trunk roads it's poor judgement and bad driving that cause the problems, but these issues would be harder to police and not so lucrative.
  15. Could have been worse JB, ya could have been done for a serious traffic violation sauch as blowing your nose whislt stationary! Ayrshire traffic violation
  16. Correct as ever Scotty, 2 hour refresh on phone, will set to manual. Cyber beer on it's way and one in the Innes next time yer over :D
  17. Have recently set up my phone to recieve e-mail,but i notice it can be several hours after the home PC recieves it that it appears on the phone.Anyone know what dictates when it gets to your phone or why there's such a delay?,no big deal but interested to know as i thought they should recieve simultaneously .
  18. From a sentimental point of view (being ex crab air) it would be sad to see the RAF as a seperate entity disapear but practically and financialy it's probably a wise move. The Navy have the Fleet air arm and the Army have the flying corp so a merger and extension with savings on administration and saving of man power in some cases would be wise in the current climate (plus they could get the pongo's to do all the airfield gaurd duties)
  19. Great initiative by the trust, well done. With financial assistance on this scale, is it time to push for getting a fans representative on the board? I suggest CaleyD
  20. Edgar Davids was to be coming to Dens! wisnae quite so ridiculous as it now sounds, in the wake of Cannigia and Ravenneli but pure myth and wishful thinking as it turned oot
  21. Where's Cyril when you need him
  22. Aye, we've seen astonishing comebacks already this season eh JB? B)
  23. Poor poor performance from Dundee yesterday Mannie, County came to do a job and did it well, they bossed the game and closed us down well, preventing us playing, i think both keepers had 1 save each to make. Over the season all teams will go through a bad spell, so hopefully this is ours,a wee break for the cup next week then onwards and upwards from there, the waters are still a wee bit muddied with all the catch up games to be played but i'd still rather be top with points on the board than games in hand which need to be squeezed in and will stretch the resources of all teams concerned
  24. I think it's pretty straight forward for any club to provide a competant, up to date official website and anything less than competant and up to date is just lazyness. The problems only arise when interactivity via forums is introduced.I dont blame any club for not having forums on their website , but they should pay attention to associated unoficial site forums and respond accordingly where appropriate. The lack of official info from ICT re the Bulvitas movements has been pathetic.
  25. 27 foods great,we were there last week, but it's still a pub that does food,Rivers also very good food but pretty tight for space, would go wi Scotty's suggestion of Abstract/Contast at the Glenmorriston for ambieance and scoff if budgets no a worry.
