  1. ;) wee freudian slip there JB,fehvers mair like it fae a Fifer.
  2. Heard it's a done deal and will be anounced tomorrow, fairly happy with Levein, reckon he's as good as we could expect to take the poisened chalice that is the Scotland job and as JB says, probly in a much wider role than just team manager. It also has the added bonus of really pissin off oor Tangerine neebors ;)
  3. I'd settle for a draw in this game, but a smash and grab win as per Dingwall earlier in the month would be nice.Hopefully you will see a differant Dundee team to the one at Dens earlier in the year, the team spirit and attitude since the cup final has been brilliant.Win, lose or draw,I think most are correct in ICT are too far back to challenge for promotion now and whilst i dont think we will run away with the league, the main challenge will still come from Partick with QOTS and Coonty taking points off most teams especially in Dumfries and Dingwall. Anyway folks, have a great Christmas and see ya's doon the Longman on Boxing day provided Tommy can get the pitch playable
  4. No 2 goal start this time tho JB
  5. Caleyfan in Wales, assuming yer the same guy that posted on the Dee ofishal forum, there,s a lad put a contact number up to phone him for a lft leaving from Kirriemuir
  6. It's just opinions and banter FOF,I was at the Eagles gig at Hampden last year and as yer mate said they were awesome, would deffo go along and see the Quo just to see if Francis Rossi can still rock it for 3 hours solid, one of the best gigs i ever saw at Glasgow Apollo,i think i still have my air guitar from that night.
  7. So let me get this right, Status Qou,Cockney Rebel,The Who,Bob Dylan,Rush,Jesus and Mary chain,Bow wow wow and Take That are all playing a gig at Bogbain? when do the tickets go on sale and any idea how much?
  8. The Who are coming???!!! :D
  9. Thought that would be the case, cheers D
  10. Not that I noticed why? :( Ok Maybe there were a few unexpected results. :023: Ach, eh never bathered checking as Man U have an easy run in December and are gauranteed top spot at Christmas
  11. Anything interesting happen in the EPL today
  12. If they were legal, licensed and available i doubt it would be worth the risk and cost of manufacturing illegal unlicensed drugs.Very few bother making moonshine and while alchohol is a massive problem education is also needed to change wholesale attitudes.I remember as a youngster,a lot of peers were keen to try wackie backie, but to get dope you were drawn into the illicit world of dealers who could then work on the more vulnerable to try harder stuff.I never went past a smoke or two, but know lads who went on to amphetimines during the northern soul days, some then progressed to coke and heroin. At the end of the day so long as the facts are known, surely the chice of using or not using recreational drugs should be the choice of the individual.
  13. I'd tend to agree wi DC, if the demand is there the supply will get through, but it becomes far more dangerous when forced underground.
  14. I got one of these footballer picture and team speadsheet from the 80's e-mailed to me, when u get the name right you get 2 points and one for the country represented. Is there an EASY way of putting it onto my wee website so others can input the ones i can't get (the vast majority!)
  15. Cheers top six, will do,meantime, if anyone hears oh anything ,gies a shout cheers.
  16. I think everyone, when younger, played Wolfie Smith at some point of their life Charles, but then real life kicks in :(
  17. Eh widnae know them if they were playing in my back garden, but they cetainly seem popular, with the Ironworks sold out months before the gig.
  18. Anyone know of tickets for sale, wee heilan and his mate are looking for 2 if anyone knows of any going spare,or are they gold dust and nae chance of getting any?
  19. I suppose it's anyones perogative to "follow" ( big differance from supporting) any team they choose, over the years i've met loads of folk who claimed to be Chelsea/Man U/Arsenal/OF etc without putting any effort other than buying a top to swagger round the pub in, into actually "supporting" the team.I don't know if it's co-incidance but most of the interesting, genuine, funny, likeable people iv'e had the pleasure of meeting in football contexts have been followers of local provincial football teams, which engenders loyalty and a degree of humilty without unrealistic expectations. From my time in the forces i dont think i can put a face to a single "big" team supporter but still mind loads of lads who supported the likes of Bristol Rovers,Barnsley,Worcester city,Yeovil Town,Milwall,Plymouth etc and still keep in touch and they keep an eye out for the Dee score due to a mutual respect of "wee" team supporters.Old Trafford or Dens.....I know where i'd rather be.
  20. Right wing? left wing? they all gie me ring sting! awa to meh bed now as ehv had a beer
  21. Eh widnae bather too much, the Welsh dinnae real do humour since Max Boyce,...."see those two houses over there? mines the one in the middle" ," who tied me dog loose" and "who's boots are those shoes"? but when i worked in Wales we had a lad who'd suffered an industrial accident resulting in the loss of the lower part of his ear and the locals called him 18 months cause he only had "a year and a half" ( made me larf anyway)
  22. No at Lindley's prices ye'll no!
  23. Now here's what i call a good job, think i might see about retraining.......... Research job
  24. Ah the best fae the tap oh the league Mannie :P
  25. Agree with the first part of that D,but with regards to the second part, on the contrary, the more disatisfied and eager for change supporters are, the more likely they are to get involved and support the trust as a vehicle to get a say in the direction a club is heading
