  1. That's Portland Place outside what was the Cameron Club, then the Portland Club before the demise of Rangers it then became a Nursery and it now the first Mosque in Inverness.
  2. Don't know about the Fairfield Dyeworks but Rossleigh's was on Young St at the junction of King St and is now Tesco! If IHE was describing where it was he would say it was opposite the Tarry Isle
  3. Should have been a win today or at least a point, will need a win next week to keep on track and hope Celtic get a win tomorrow.

    THE DANCING

At Fort George for a bit of training
  6. That's a big one you have IHE for that photo!
  7. Although it says Vintage Alfa Romeo I would never known this one!
  8. When delivering papers to my 90 year old neighbour this morning she greeted me with a big smile and said "Meekings got off, they should never have tried to ban him from the final"
  9. Just great although I am just a wee bit surprised at the outcome, I wonder what the papers will be saying tomorrow! The one good thing for Josh is he is world famous now I hope can relax now and enjoy the remainder of the season including the final.
  10. I listened to Radio Scotland this morning to Willie Rennie's election pitch where he described the Lib Dem election candidates as Stonking! I think he has his words mixed up I think he should have said Honking
  11. Does it have a dug in it that snarls at Hyacinth Bucket when she goes to visit her sister Daisy and Onslow? Just took the photo from the street so didn't get that close!
  12. You must have upset the old Lord Charles! I had dealings with him when organizing training events on his land on both sides of Loch Ness for the Army Cadet Force and he was always most helpful.
  13. Until Wm Low's opened at the bottom of Bridge Street
  14. Spotted in a drive near Hampden on Sunday a Ford Zepher 4
  15. The top left is the old academy building where the fire was last week, the bracket for the old clock was still on the wall before the fire (will need to get CB to check if its still there) the 2 Albion's I think have featured in the Old Inverness magazines. I was never in the restaurant the first I remember of that building was Coopers/Fine Fare.
  16. Yes, I think Moray House is maybe a bit too far to the North to be on that line from Eastgate. Clearly I have too much time on my hands but, with no relevant football on and out of sheer curiosity, on Saturday I took a wander about at the bottom of Bank Lane. The straight line from the point of origin does seem to continue across the river there and run through the Tesco Metro site. You have too much time to wander round town like that, I am sure the locals will start to wonder what you are looking at all the time you could always pick up litter on your way around the streets which would help the community!
  17. Like everyone else I am disgusted at Celtic and the central belt media and hope the club are successful with their appeal..............if not its a conspiracy!
  18. More time to look at it and thought it might have been Moray House on Bank Street which may have been built about the same time but the church spires of the Free North & St Columba High churches prove me wrong with that. So I think you must be right.
  19. After another look you are right caley 100, I must have been in to much of a hurry before going to the semi-final. I hope I have not got any others wrong
  20. Fantastic a great team performance from all , just seen the BBC highlights where they showed Meekings terrific save four times! Celtic claim they should have had a penalty but don't mention we should have had another for the keepers assault on Ofere! Just BAD losers, looking forward to the final now
  21. From the Ford Transit heading in the old Eastgate, Renault 9, Datsun, Morris 1800, Morris Marina van, Rover 2000, Daf 66 (I think), Morris Marina & Austin Maxi heading east. If I start on the car park I will miss the game on Sunday I note the large crane on the skyline CB might recall where that would have been!
