*bump* If anyone who knows anyone who wants a season ticket, get them to contact me please.
-
I have a spare season ticket for sale. Section D in the North Stand. Send me a message to get the details and price.

Never really a massive fan of Roy either, was brilliant against Elgin in a defensive midfield area though! I've always though he'd be better their or at left back. Feeling pretty confident now ahead of the new season!
-
I assume the reason for the training top is that 'Flybe' needs their sponsorship shown in every game and we haven't recieved the official strips yet.

Easy win against an shambolic outfit, I would think Clach will give us a harder game tomorrow night. First goal a deflected free kick from Barry Wilson Second goal 20 seconds after restart, Dennis Wyness lob hit the inside of the post came out to Rankin who did his best to miss but hit the defender on the line and squidshed into the corner Third goal, long ball in behind the centre back, Hart nipped in and put it between the keepers legs. team Fraser, Tokely, Hastings, Caff, munro, McBain, Wilson, Hart, Rankin, Wyness, Bayne. Everyone did ok except maybe Wyness, wasn't his night had upteen attempts and couldn't score. Score could easily have been 10-0 We were so much fitter as you would expect and quite sharp. Subs were Vigurs, Zander, Wood and Kerr who all did really well when they came on

I don't think the issue of Grassa discussing wages has much relevence, I mean all top teams announce players wages when they sign so i don't think that is a problem to be honest. I think the reason he hasn't scored many goals recently is because he can also play as a midfielder I seem to recall hearing. So perhaps the last few seasons he has been in midfield. Looking on his website, one of the goals he does score for the Belgian team he does seem to cut in from a right wing position

A friend was speaking to Grassa at the Inverness Golf Club 4 balls on Friday. Niculae is wanting £4,000 a week and we'll only be signing them if they can get a sponsor involved i.e. Alan Savage and Orion Engineering. So hopefully Mr Savage can find the cash from somwhere!

This would obviously be the biggest and most surprising signing the club has ever made. A current Romanian internationalist in the prime of his career. He would be amazing in the SPL, imagine him against Gretna!! haha Thinking with my head I can't imagine how we could pull this off, but please please let us do it!!

Bauers injured, DAMMIT!!!

What I want to know is where is all the money going. Perhaps our 3 top earners have left in the last 6 months and no-one has been brought in. You can say Cowie but i wouldn't think he'll be on more than what he was at County and he's a 1st div player. I mean 3 large wages have gone out, plus we've got money from Celtic for Brown and the money we would have got for the Elton John malarky. So why are we not out signing good solid SPL players rather than looking at the likes of Liam Buchanan. I've said this before but Mark Burchill. Similar type player to Dargo and season before last (before his injury problems) had a good season. I read the other day about Christie saying he's had loads of CV's and none have been jumping out at him. I'm sorry but you've had 6 months to be out looking at players but all your doing is looking through faxed CV's. What is going on???

I always mention this guy and i think he only ever played 3 games. But a defender we got on loan from Ayr I think called Greg Hood, possibly the slowest man I've ever seen. Unsurprisingly he was never offered a permanent deal. Nicky Walker was also very bad for us. Marco de Barros could have been a legend!! He came off the bench at half time on his debut I think against East Stirling and tore them apart. I remember him in that game flicking the ball up and playing and overhead kick pass down the line :015: As I say could have been a legend but I don't think his heart was in most of it. I remember one of my mates who was on the fringes of the first team at that time saying that when he went of injured in the coca cola cup game against motherwell he faked his ankle injury for 3 or 4 months so he didn't have to play but collected his wages. A waste really but on his day was a brilliant player!

Don't know anything about this story and maybe Black does want a free transfer. But there is no way he will be leaving for at least £100,000 unless he leaves at the end of his contract which i believe he signed for 3 years last summer. He is a Scotland B International and if (not that we will) but if we let him go for free i would be demanding somone get sacked. He could play even in a rotation policy at any SPL club! I've always thought that if he matures he could replace Lennon at Celtic!

Someone not been mentioned that I think we should be looking at, especially if Dunfermline go down. Mark Burchill?? Similar type player to Dargo with a similar injury history. Maybe we could get the best out of him?

Every time there is a chance to promote the club or talk it up. The club blows it every time by telling everyone they pay the lowest wages and are a really small club. I mean seriously how on earth do we expect to attract players, this coupled with the fact we live 100 miles away from the nearest away game. Even Mark Brown said it when he left that "he got used to living up North" so if he's thinking that obviously other players think the same. We should be PROMOTING the fact we're a growing city and we don't pay the lowest wages when you take into account bonuses. Look what getting Stokes on a loan from Arsenal did for Falkirk he pulled in crowds, scored goals and they wouldn't have needed to pay him a thing. No dissrespect to the big man because he's done well, but we've brought in somone from Cowdenbeath. We need to be more ambitous, spend a little extra. I mean if we give Dargs an extra £300 a week and we finish 6th next season. Everyone goes on about prize money, isn't it worth it? Caley Thistle are to negative thinking at times and there are good players out there but we don't seem to try hard enough to get them. Signing Markus Paatelainen and Don Cowie is not some sort of coup that it seems to be made out to be, because who else in the SPL would have signed them? Also do we need them? Yet more midfielders, please get at least 1 defender in and a striker. One final thing, Caley have played some good football at times this season. Not sustained through a whole game but patches against hibs, St Mirren, Rangers and Falkirk spring to mind. But the utter garbage produced at times far outweighs the good play. Sorry Charlie but if you can't get the good play out of the players on a more regular basis we'll have to find somone who can.

Also somthing i forgot to add on to my earlier rant. Why oh why when looking for a new goalkeeper have we turned to the Highland league. Ally Ridgers is a good goalkeeper no question. But his first game on the bench was against Celtic. Could you imagine if it was Fraser that got the dislocated shoulder and not Wyness in the 1st minute. It would have been Ridgers to come on. I believe that he hasn't even played a league game before let alone an SPL match and certainly not against a team in the Champions league 2nd phase. Throwing him straight in against Celtic would have been madness. Also against Celtic in the cup, everybody saying its so harsh and everything. Why on earth did we have 3 strikers on at the end and Stuart McCaffrey on the bench??? I'm not saying that Celtic still wouldn't have scored but another stupid mistake. Believe it or not I actually quite like Christie and he's only learning. But if we play like this next season and don't get some luck we could very well be in Dunfermlines position. This is a massive pre season for us and we have to get it right and get the right players in. Stop signing the lower division players, keep the good ones we have, please don't go down the mooted eastern european route and please trim the squad down. Charlie is the manager and if he's not going to play the likes of Morgan and Hart, get rid of them. I can accept the garbage we've been producing for 1 season but not next season. But I suppose if we get relegated we've at least got somthing to play for in Scottish Football other than avoiding relegation.

That was utter utter ****e once again. I rarely post on here but feel compelled after yet another embarassing performance. Its not just today as well, take out the games against Rangers and Celtic we've but rubbish all season and have been very lucky to get where we are. A last minute goal against DUNF and United to win games when we didn't deserve it. The 3-2 game v Falkirk was pathetic for 70 mins. Today we were playing the worst team in the league at home and they embarrased us. That was utter garbage and we just look like a mess on the pitch. I'll be amazed if were not in the bottom 3 this season and perhaps even bottom of the table next season. People are debating wether McSweagan had a good game or not today. He shouldn't even be at the club!!! A 36 year old 1st div player who was past it for that level!!! I mean if we constantly keep signing lower division players we'll become a lower division club. Also, what the **** is going on with Dargo's contract, why hasn't he signed it yet??? But at least if he goes, we might get in Buchanan from Cowdenbeath, fantastic. In my opinion we look in dire straits just now and really need someone to sort this mess out. Even though Charlie rams it down our throat we are not a small club and hearing him say that every week is teeth grinding, if you keep saying it Charlie everyone starts to believe it, no wonder we can't attract any good players. "We're a really small club with the lowest wages in the league" Great sales pitch Charlie!

Does anyone have information about the planned trip to the US at the end of the season. I know there was somthing about Tom Parrats old club the Iowa Soccer Alliance about a few months ago. But I assume now that he's left that would have fallen through. The other rumour was going to Houston I think becase of Kevin MacDonalds brother. Any news or info would be great. Anybody up for going if its on?

Heard this from Grassa himself at the weekend. John Rankin wants to come to us, Ross County want him to come to us. But the agent wants £10,000 from us, for his part in the deal. The fee is £65,000 for the player and the agent (Tom Callaghan) wants 10 grand. For what??? Rankin has been saying outwith the media for months he wants to come to us. To me it seems like the agent wants 10K for nothing. Its a shame it has to come to this but Rankin can either get another agent or we should tell him to GTF!

"BLACK IS THE NEW TARGET FOR UNITED" - P & J
Sir C the 3rd replied to 918loyal's topic in Caley Thistle
It is pathetic if they want to all go and join Utd. I mean we finished was it 25 points ahead of them this season and have proved we are a better team. Why did brewster leave in the first place if all he wants is our players playing for him?? If any of them do go i'll be disgusted, the whole spine of the team ripped out to go and play for that sh1te!!
