  1. I think it's a big gamble letting 2 of our more experienced players go. These guys know what it takes to beat either of the old firm teams. They have seen it and done it on a few occasions. Younger more inexperienced players may not have that mentality and may freeze on the big stage. I hope not. In my view you cant beat having an old head or two in the team to guide the younger lads.
  2. Yes he's an absolute angel :baby: Came across this with a quick google search. I would think that Lennon being caught spitting on a Rangers scarf and calling their fans DOB'sin an OF game shows Lennons true colours to be that of a sectarian and bigoted man. Quite why anyone would choose to have such a bigot manage their team can only speak volumes about the mindset of the people appointing him. Lennon is hardly an inspiration to impressionable kids who support Celtic and look up to him. He's a bigot, he's a coward of a man who threatens girlfriends with violence and threats when she is carrying his own child, his business associates are caught in up in an IRA money laundering operation, not exactly the type of person who gains respect in a society of decent people http://boards.footym...4163&vid=144629 Can I ,once again, state that their is nothing in Neil Lennon's character or behaviour that makes him likeable to me (or many others) in any way. Examples given are totally and utterly unacceptable, should be treated as such and have been dealt with by the relevant authorities at the time . From what you are saying, because he portrays unacceptable behaviour, you view his treatment as acceptable? Or put another way, it serves him right! Very sad. Norman Tebbit would be proud of you. Assume you also believe that shop lifters should have their hands chopped off, women having sex outside marriage should be stoned to death and homosexuals are a plague on society? The Highland Taleban is alive and well and using CTO as a means of communication............... You have got me confused here. Where did I state that the treatment he receives is acceptable? You had stated in a sarcastic manner that it was all Lennons fault. I simply stated that he was no angel! Just for the record i do not condone the serious nature of what some idiots are trying to do to him re parcels and bullets in post etc. What I will say is that he has a lot of personality problems that he should be dealing with and not trying to wind up fans of most Scottish teams.

  4. For me it has to be Rangers just to get rid of that sideshow freak. We should have told him that we really didnt try against them and could have put six past them. He is solely responsible for bringing Scottish football down. The disrespect he shows all teams is unbelievable. This both as a player and a manager, just ask Juanjo, Jim Jeffries, Peter Houston, Ally McCoist and so on.........................
  5. TBH bud, I have a wrist problem now as well!
  6. IHE 'up the back' with the 'young boys'. I wouldnt be broadcasting that one bud.
  7. Is the game a definite starter this time, or is there any doubts of it going ahead?
  8. Heard he 'crossed' Ned Lennon too. Or was it the other way about!
  9. For me, for pure quality it has to be Andy Penman, though I used to like going to see Davie Johnston and Chic Allan and of course Freddy Nield
  10. Happy Birthday auld yin. Wheres the perty? I say we go for the Ordnance!!!
  11. I have just seen a clip of that incident and am not going on Diouf's side but it looks like it was Mackie who 'went' for the other player and ended up with the broken leg. Maybe karma is correct!
  12. He was nowhere near the ball! Seriously that sort of hammer thrower stuff does nothing for the Scottish game in general. It shows us in a bad light to others. He also put the new Rangers striker out of the game for 3 months (Jelavic) I would rather watch guys with skill like Johnny Hayes for example. No wonder our game seems to be light years behind other countries.
  13. He is making them the laughing stock of Scottish football. When they win there is nothing said, when they drop points it seems to be a free for all with Lennon being the ringleader. Its 100% predictable these days, yet the Juanjo incident would never be brought up by the media in this country. They are becoming tedious with the guff they come out with. Most teams accept good and bad decisions (except Jim Jeffries!) and move on. Celtic seem to think they are being singled out! and with someone like Lennon at the helm its a recipe for disaster. Tired and bored of hearing about them. The Scottish media have a lot to answer for as they willingly cater for Celtic's propaganda spin.
  14. The reason that there is such short notice is that the SFA would have left it till after the Rangers v Kilmarnock Scottish Cup tie last night in case it needed a replay. Cup ties take priority over the league, therefore if game was drawn last night Rangers would have to play replay on 18th. As it didnt need a replay it left a spare date available to slot a league game in.
  15. Nerve jangling stuff. At the end of the season how valuable could that goal be both financially and prestige wise.
