  1. Agreed. Jennifer Lopez would be better than Dani. Vigurs did more in his first 5 minutes than the whole midfield before that point in the game. His first five touches/passes were impressive.
  2. Vigurs signed this afternoon.

    Deek

What next, Bobby Mann to make a comeback at centre half?
  4. Unless our injury list decreases I reckon same team and subs as yesterday.
  5. Riordan could hardly get a game for East Fife last season. Why waste the ink on the signing terms?
  6. Poor highlights on Sportscene. Why am I not surprised? Patronising comments from pundits about Ryan Christie too after Yogi's comment that he will play for Scotland.
  7. I would hope so but we need them in quick. Do the parent club not pay half or more of the loanee's wages?

    Positives

We're not bottom of the league. We're above County in the table. We didn't ship 4 goals like Killie and St Johnstone. Our attendance was more than Hamilton's. Owain Fon Williams and Mutombo.

    Injuries.

You can add Dean Brill to that list too - 9 first team squad players ffs!
  10. I must say I'm not happy with that especially after not having a recognised fit striker. Having just watched all the Premiership highlights on Sportscene we seem to be the only club that hasn't recruited any strikers. Our lack of attempts on target yesterday was a damning statistic. Okay we have new players who are attacking midfielders (Lopez, Roberts and Mbuyi-Mutombo) potentially capable of scoring but it is very worrying that we have never replaced Billy McKay. The loss of Gary Warren for most of the season is also a big blow for our defence along with all the pre-season injuries. While I hope I am proved wrong I really fear that even after one match we could be at the wrong end of the table for most of the season.
  11. Rumour going round that Marley is to return - issues with him at Barnsley apparently.
  12. Ticket office or summer house?
  13. I agree we didn't lose the tie due to match officials but it always seems that former Eastern Block reps give more favour to their former comrades. That's just one of the trials of European football. We should learn from that for the next time. This week has given us the thirst for more trips like it.
  14. Where were the match officials from? With no match programme we never found out but you would swear they were from an Eastern European country with the decisions made.
  15. Says it all for me too. We need a winger to get through/round defences and a striker. Our defence did well esp Warren and Devine.
  16. Fantastic turn out in old City of Bucharest tonight. Big gatherings in bars like the Sinners and the Old City.
  17. So total attendance on our part could be around 650-700 including VIP seated fans. That would be fantastic. Looking forward to helping create a big noise to roar the team on.
  18. I agree with that selection and the reason for it. Have I missed something but is Vincent injured too?
  19. That's ironic! Due to bowling, you'll miss the game at the 'Bowlin' ground! (as it tends to be pronounced for some reason) I know and I missed the home leg v Astra due to bowling too. Was playing in Northern Counties BA championships in Golspie v Thurso, a long term commitment.
  20. Damn, won't be able to make the London trip if it happens as appearing at Scottish Bowling Championships in Ayr. Could make the home leg though - complete reversal of round 2.
  21. I stay in Inverness, can't go to the home leg (long term commitment out of town) but going to Romania. However, I will be hugely disappointed if we can't get 5,000+ at home leg. Apart from Barry Wilson's testimonial v Liverpool U19s we have a poor record of home attendances for games in the summer holidays. It's as if half the population leave town as soon as the schools break up.
  22. I'm not getting worked up about it. I just thought I was providing some useful information for those who would normally use the car parks but obviously from your response the club don't seem that bothered about it. I have however told a disabled badge holder friend of mine that he won't be able to park in his usual spot behind the North Stand.
  23. The parking at the stadium has not been an issue for me since 2003 when I decided to park further away after being trapped in the home car park for 30 minutes or more at every home game. I prefer to park are least a 15 minute walk away now. My point here is that it is unlikely that any parking will be available at the stadium in connection with the match unless you arrive much earlier or have a reserved space. So who was the Billy Smarterse or clown that arranged the match or the circus booking or both so that they clash?
