In his defence, Butcher has always said he dearly wants to get back into club football management, whether that depends the money on offer/team i dont know.

Last thing we need at this stage of the game is a pert time / part interested manager. I would be a lot happier with someone who wll be TOTALLY commited.

Just typical of our treatment by officials this season, maybe i'm getting bottom of the league paranoia bt we never seem to get decisions going our way these days. It reminds me of Livvys final season in the SPL, nothing went their way.

I thought this thread was about people UNLIKELY to become our new manager? Certainly McColl must come into this category, as will Ardiles, as will Shearer and Irvine, and Pele.

Ok then, wonder who will be on the short list? Will Robbo make it? Butcher, Knox? Malpas? hope Craig Brown aint on the horizon.. Seems as with Brewsters appointment there will be mixed feelings about Robbo's return, then again the board have surprised us in the past, maybe they will do the same again.
