For sure, they ( SFL) dont need the hassle of shifting teams, up the leagues later in the summer when Greetna eventually go out of exsistance. Stranraer and Airdrie will be happy as well.

Thank feck you lot aint managers!! maybe it passed you by but there was a little matter of ?75k to play for, playing all the young players might have meant we lost 9th place. He did play Rory three times and Vigurs came on twice and scored, although with Rory its a lost cause in my mind. Also i think Rankin was away when Parkie went to hibs, that was quite obvious to most fans.

I think the manner in which we were getting beat was very concerning, some of the defeats were so poor from our performance point of view. The signing of Mcguire was a big mistake... he i'm afraid, is my biggest failure this season. Andy, had Wyness being playing well but nor scoring he might have got a new contract, had been playing poor and scoring he probably would have got a new contract, but lets face it, he has been playing crap AND not scoring, so if Brew had decided to give another year or two to Denzil, who then kept up the poor form when we could have used the money to sign someone else, who would be in the wrong? Legends dont go on forever.

Well quite a few.. 1. Brews goal vs Hearts to get the first 3 points was sheer joy. 2. The win vs Ceptic was not expected but well deserved for the effort and that save. 3. The first away vs Gretna, what a laugh.... and Barrys brill goal. 4. Marius' two goals against Hibs... brill 5. 6 goals for us in a game.. we dont do it very often.

Yes, Gretna still have membership of the SFL, and will be due a parachute payment for dropping down ( if they have not already recieved it) Whether they can sort it out and guarantee they can provide a team is another story, the consortium trying to buy Gretna will maybe take their membership and change their name ( as Airdrie did with Clydebank), but it will be up to the creditors to accept the offer or not.

Denzil is/was reponsible for his own future, had he been playing well and scoring some goals, the offer that was originally tabled for him would have been accepted. However as you and i and many other fans have agreed, Denzil has not produced the goods, not since his injuries anyway.

Well, it looks as though Airdrie would be promoted to the first div, the runners up from the third div playoffs would be promoted to the second div, and then there would be a space in the third div for a new team, Which would more than likely be from the borders or the Embra team.

Here mun, Middens attacking football has brought them only 9 goals at home so far this season!
