  1. Real fans turn out to support the club , being a supporter means turning out no matter what i'm afraid. If golf is your thing fair enough, but when we get to play Rangers at home in the Cup i bet you will be looking for a ticket. Ah the old "I'm not a real fan" routine. And you're so confident that I'm not a real fan that you add "I'm afraid" at the end of the sentence just to really hammer home, just how sure you are of what you're saying. Does being a "real" supporter also entail foaming at the mouth when reading bad things about ICT?... I'll take you up on that bet, in fact I'll go one further. I bet that until changes are made for the better at the club, I will not cast a shadow over the turnstile there... What do you say? Dont bother me one iota if you stay away from the Stadium, you are the one that bothered to post the story about preferring golf on a saturday, all i trying to point out is that a supporter turns out to support the team throught thick and thin. Anyway, what would you consider changes for the better? when we start winning more games? when Brew leaves? does that not qualify you as a fair weather supporter?

  3. :thumb04: Bobby is enjoying :018: and ;) so his has run out for SPL footie
  4. Why cant you understand the booing of Rankin? fair enough he used to play for us, but he went for money and he was trying like **** to score against us! would you have clapped if he scored? boo the barsteward. We were told long before he arrrived that Barrowman was not a grafter, and not much of a targetman, he needs the ball to feet to do what he does best, and on saturday we were well guilty of not doing that. I can visualise a Niculae scenario here where we are not playing to our strengths and getting the best out of players, Brewster complained in todays press that the players were guilty of humping the ball up the park!! well **** me if he saw it why didnt he sort it, putting jimmy jabbi on was a complete joke, Zander might have given us far more options in that position. Why is f e c k banned? fock, fickin, fluckin, fockin etc etc where/ what next?
  5. I didnt any booing of Shiels! bit if heckling maybe but most opposition players will get that from time to time. As for the booing of Rankin thats fair enough, ex players, legends or not will always get a hard time on their return to pastures of old, Wyness will get booed as did Dargo, legends or not they have new employers and are believe it or not going to try and score against us and enjoy it. Dont let sentiments get in the way.
  6. Not only that...where were the drums yesterday?
  7. A. No, because he was no better than the trialist from Man u Liam whatsisname b. No, are you paranoid?
  8. For the purposes of pedantry? What rubbish is that you speak? There are complaints that Brew hasn't signed a defender, but yet we actually have and he was one of the first signings we made. I haven't seen him play yet, so I can't comment on whether I am happy with - but I am going to give him a chance as everyone else should. Has he actually played an SPL match yet? Or are you going to do to him what many did to Zibi Malkowski and write him off before he ever plays a competitive match? You are being pendantic thus for the purposes of pedantry, yes we have signed a defender. What folk are talking about is the desperate need for a centre back. Zadi is not a centre back by any stretch of the imagination. I have not seen him play in the SPL, but I have seen him play in person and yes I am going to write him off before he kicks an SPL football, because if he kicks like he uses his head, he'll close his eyes and miss it completely. I completely detest people like you. Caley have a track record of bringing in players who may not have been the best player and resurrecting their careers and making them a better play - Dargo, Dods (even to some extent Niculae) to name a few. To call me a pedant is stupid - I was not being pedantic I was being right, there is a massive difference there. But I wouldn't expect you to agree with that. Anyway, last I have to say on the matter. Just one last addition on this matter: We all post on this website and we all have our views, aint much point in having a go at eachother because we cant agree who is right or wrong, because its more about views. Anyway Jimmy Jabbi is a left back, not a player to cover central defence - never, You are being picky EWS, as you well you know we NEED an experienced CENTRAL defender to replace Dods.
  9. Yes. We would also have a hellofajob finding shorts for him, because the ones he was wearing were not going to last another 5 minutes.
  10. You have no idea what Brew has been up to. Would you be happy if he just signed a random defender who was awful? And techincally, he has already signed a defender this season. Of course you are right, but i do know that the defence was shyte last season and nothing has been done, how do i know that, Don calls it right.... there has been no mention at all about bringing in a new defender untill this week.
  11. Fair enough but he hanst got much time left, Granty might be out for a while! And... Brew has known for a long while that a new defender was needed, why has he waited so long?
  12. Wots a def?

Russell Duncan and Granty are both out, so Duff will start with Mcguire, with Nish being our bogeyman, Duff will need to be sharp and keep close tabs on him, no point in putting mcguire against him as he canna jump. I would like to see 4-4-2 but we will no doubt have 4-5-1 again with Rooney to start.
  14. ' Bear in mind, we also played plenty of part time players and youngsters at various stages of the game.' More like old farts and youngsters Mun, but it must be disappointing for 'Pool eh, to come up to sort the jocks out and get a humping and a lucky win.
  15. Fair enough, felt a wee bit sorry for the Liverpool supporters who came from far and wide to see a humping for their team... sad eh! Anyway, talking about photos, what has happened to Caleyjags.com? i can only assume that Peter is taking the pics and John who is on holiday will upload them when he gats back... no bad theory eh?
  16. Nah... thats Dennis Taylor with a blonde wig.

    You obviously never learnt morse code mannie... ... _ ._ _ ... _. .._ _ .._
  18. Dont know where you get the 'mistake at the halfway up the park' it was very nearly middle of our half and 10 yds from the touchline, and i'm sure Jamies team mates had expected him to deal with the long punt up the pitch with ease.
  19. Bobby Mann, for a second i thought i was seeing double, what a girth!! however you kind of forget how good a player he is/was, oh for a 28 yr old 13 stone Bobby in our defence. He reads the game so well, never wastes a pass and is a calming influence all round him, ah well lets hope Duff ( who played very well) learns from the master, and that Mcguire sees how it supposed to be done.
  20. No much chance of them getting moved, loss of income see... It always been a problem for wheelchair users and the total shyte view they get, a letter was sent to M Smith on behalf of a wheelchair user from Cheshire House, the reply was pretty poor, promised nowt, within SPL guidelines blah blah blah, bloody poor show but i believe David Stewart was supposed to be helping out on the way forward. Next time you are at a game, just crouch down to the level of a seat behind the goals and check out the view of the pitch.

Where to start... Firstly i was very surprised with the low crowd, first game of the season, the brill win at Aberdeen and still we have apathy in Inverness, maybe it was only Hamilton and their 120 supporters but i would have expected more. Then there is Mcguire, oh dear he gets no better does he! if he was looking out for Duff why wasnt Mcguire the one to cover for him and be the first player to cover OfLongs run ( as the announcer called him) Anyway i've been told today that Duff will be in again next week, and if ( hopefully) Granty is fit Mcguire will be dropped. there told ya all early. Now Barrowman, He is now way a Graham Bayne, he will not be a target man, i think he needs to be playing off another player ie Rooney to see the best of him. We just had a shyte day at the office i'm afraid, however the starting set up was wrong, Brew stood by the team that beat Dons, and that is ok in certain circumstances, but not at home to Hamilton, 4-4-2 should have been the set up, all we did was give advantage to Hamilton who put 2/3 men on Barrows every time, this also left their full backs space to come forward. Brew is still learning from mistakes, i hope he IS learning.

Thats what worries me, Hamilton have some big guys playing and Dicky is a featherweight, and Mcguire canna jump and weighs about the same.

Grant Munro has been described as extremely doubtful for tomorrow!!!! bloody typical, just get the season started with a good result and the injuries start. Looked like he took a sore one from Miller at the end of last weeks game though, could be related to that challenge. Anyway with Proctor suspended, and if Granty dont make it, will Duff get a chance or will Dicky get a chance to play central defence again ( shudder ) with Jimmy-Jabbi at left back, i would give Duff the chance he has much more of a physical presence that Dicky.

Oh.. glad about that, nothing worse than not being sorted...... er.. wot we talking about?
  25. I keep getting e.mails from guys in Uganda telling me i've inherited $8,500,000 maybe this guy could collect it for me and take it over, i'd give him a wee backhander!
