  1. Not strictly an ICT topic I know, but does anyone have any vibes about whether he is happy in Glasgow? He will have been well advised on what he was signing up for and his lack of first team football can hardly come as a surprise. I guess a loan will be the next move. I just feel that this element of Scottish football is so depressing. With Celtic continuing to invest in a ( surely forlorn) bid to conquer Europe, I can see him appearing very seldom. He is a big miss
  2. ...................and an honest and accurate assessment from Richie post match. Refreshing to not hear how the boys done well . All in all, as Mantis has alluded to, I left the game frustrated that we could not hurt a team who were no world beaters themselves. Perhaps I should attend more often than once in a blue moon
  3. Well here we go again. Christmas morning. What's under the tree this year? Just because it looks like a tennis racquet..............What will we unwrap this year? The signs are promising. A new leader and some new personnel. It is a familiar scenario. Apparently we have pace and some trickery. We are free- scoring. Confidence must be high. There is a togetherness again. The big parcel could be a Doran..........I'd love one of them! Come on Santa; you never disappoint! See yous in Glasgow for part 1
  4. Many thanks Don......................but I ain't going anywhere near the dart board if you are playing!
  5. Happy new season everyone.......................well.............Scotty
  6. I'm sorry.........I don't want to be negative as we face , yet another, new dawn........but I have to agree..............I smell trouble. We do not have a good record when it comes to organisation around the stadium; whether it is the stewarding, the car-parking or the club shop. I fear the worst. We are supposed to be providing an attractive product for the customer...............a customer who has many alternatives these days. It MUST be hassle free. Whlist I am aware that the club is not run for my benefit...this could be another nail in the coffin for home visits from me. The A9 is scheduled to be pretty much a no go area for the foreseeable; After a 3 to 4 hour drive I like a pint with my mates in the Innes.........I don't wish to head straight for the end of a very long queue. If this is a cost saving exercise I fear it may back -fire. It is looking increasingly likely that, on the morning of home games, I will be getting the golf clubs or the fishing rod out. G. Loomy
  7. Excellent initiative...................good luck!
  8. I think this deserves to be on the Caley page. What a great player he was for us. I have such fond memories of him rampaging down the park having been fed a pinpoint ball by Bobby Mann. Temperamental certainly, but one of my favourite players that have pulled on the shirt.......possibly THE favourite. My favourite goal was during a tense , meaningful game with Clyde up in Inverness. 0-0 with 10 to go and Barry bent a sublime freekick round the wall to give us an important victory..................I was going to look this up but Sneckboy will save me the bother. Laterly he proved himself an articulate analyst. And did he not score against Barcelona? What a guy!!!! Have an enjoyable post foottee career Barry!
  9. Well into his seventies but you can still see him strutt his stuff. Fab back catalogue. November in glasgow next i think
  10. Well this scoreline is a refreshing change. Hughes lays on second? Good lad
  11. I think we should lay off Hughes. I thought he did OK at St Johnstone with little or no support and provided umpteen knockdowns for anyone who was near or hungry enough. I did not see him after that but he deserves a chance in my book. The bile on here is certainly not going to do his confidence any good..........he must have shown something before being signed
  12. Absolutely brilliant result for Ross county and the Highlands. First class performance against a tasty Hibs side. Well done to all. Now come on lads..................lets do the double over the Leithers!
  13. Have to agree Deano. The fact that we put in a dismal show last night was down to the players and not management in my opinion. If they cannot control a ball and make a short accurate pass you can hardly blame the manager. I wonder if CC still has a pair of boots. We need some composure on the park..............and a little guile
  14. It's a worry. That was tortuous tonight. Heads are down. Mutumbo possibly the only chink of light this week so far. Can he provide the inspiration, ingenuity, trickery and craft to give us some penetration and a final product? I thought Liam did Ok tonight. He is not the most mobile but won lots in the air......no-one anywhere near any of his knock downs. Pretty shambolic otherwise.......all our players appear unable to play any one touch stuff. Everything is so static up top that every one receiving the ball takes at least two touches before visually checking where any movement may be. Our close control is pitiful. We were dispossessed time and time again in this manner. Come on Yogi. Lots to work on. And Mutumbo in for Vigurs on Saturday please
  15. ..........and what a difference the aforementioned player made when he came on. I think he should have been on much earlier. Vigurs is the one who is pissing me off just now . He was a real prima donna today; on more than one occasion stopping, putting his foot on the ball, pretending he had all the time in the world to pick out a pass and before he knew it..........he had been dispossessed by a laughing Hibs player. I think that he thinks he is better than he is . i have news for you boy..........you're not! Roll your sleeves up and lets see you play some incisive, creative football We know you can do it

Is that the same "ambulance drivers" that Jeremy Hunt keeps referring to............proving once and for all that his position is untenable. I personally have reversed two cardiac arrests in the last week alone using advanced airway techniques, defibrillation and potent cardiac drugs........but if he wants......when his wife or children collapse...............I will adopt a hands off approach and just drive them to hospital
