  1. One thing we MUST get right is penalties. Billys fabulous finish against the Rangers saved a few blushes. The fact remains that had Billy not found the corner of the goal we would have chucked away two valuable points and be well adrift by now. As we all know, it is not the first time. Billy is not the man;Tansey has shown vulnerability; the wrong guy took the pen in the above instance. Give the ball to Draper every time for me.........In any case lets sort that out. It can't be that hard. This small instance highlights for me that all is not well in the camp. Heads are down. For me, the Celtic game could not have come at a worse time. Just when we had been given a shot in the arm with 4 ( largely unexpected) points, the Celtic bandwagon rolled into town. It was always going to be damage limitation....no injuries,no bookings and keep the score down. AND please not another goal keeping embarrassment.. Well we underachieved in that task and now we must, once again, build ourselves up for a visit to Firhill of all places..........not many of us can remember many occasions when we have left there in a good frame of mind! I am worried but remain convinced that if we can get the best out of this group of players and remain a cohesive and motivated unit, we are good enough to get us out of the mire. Lets play some football; draw on what we know we have achieved in the past and rise to the occasion. As some have been saying........relegation ( which was a bit of fun last time round) is simply not an option. It would be, in my opinion, the top of a very slippery slope. With retirement looming, I am going to be much more available to attend games. We must all make the effort to get along and cheer on our boys...........booing is disgraceful ( exactly what do you expect to achieve by that?) See yous at Partick
  2. Decided against journey because of Doris. Kicked every ball at a mates house. The money was down. I KNEW we would win that game. Haven't felt like this since we lifted the Cup. Onwards and upwards lads.......so proud
  3. What a start..................Excited!!
  4. Oh dear. Predictable I suppose but I had managed to summon up a little hope pre match. If we lose a man things could get bad. C'mon lads.....lets restore some pride. Bookies going 150/1 a victory for us....not overly generous........will ANYONE take that on?
  5. Oh for an iceberg lettuce
  6. Still sensational 17 years on
  7. Holed up in cuenca. Got the trots. And johndo.........it's Spanish we are speaking by the way! Viva El foran!
  8. Exactemente!
  9. Como estas amigo?
  10. Can we all just settle down now please. Once again one good performance and a point and the wolves have been called off. How many times have we seen this? Richie is here to stay......there are no alternatives. The players are more than good enough. The manager will learn. We, the supporters, are as much a factor in shaping the rest of the season. So, enough of polls .........let us all unite and sing lustily from the terraces and carry our great wee club over the line.
  11. Help!!! I am in Ecuador. What is going on? Is that THE Billy M???????? Get in there boy!!!

  17. Great start. Lets keep the foot on the gas. Hi Ross!
  18. Come on guys. I've got this down as quite an important fixture in shaping our season
  19. Not strictly an ICT topic I know, but does anyone have any vibes about whether he is happy in Glasgow? He will have been well advised on what he was signing up for and his lack of first team football can hardly come as a surprise. I guess a loan will be the next move. I just feel that this element of Scottish football is so depressing. With Celtic continuing to invest in a ( surely forlorn) bid to conquer Europe, I can see him appearing very seldom. He is a big miss
  20. ...................and an honest and accurate assessment from Richie post match. Refreshing to not hear how the boys done well . All in all, as Mantis has alluded to, I left the game frustrated that we could not hurt a team who were no world beaters themselves. Perhaps I should attend more often than once in a blue moon
  21. Well here we go again. Christmas morning. What's under the tree this year? Just because it looks like a tennis racquet..............What will we unwrap this year? The signs are promising. A new leader and some new personnel. It is a familiar scenario. Apparently we have pace and some trickery. We are free- scoring. Confidence must be high. There is a togetherness again. The big parcel could be a Doran..........I'd love one of them! Come on Santa; you never disappoint! See yous in Glasgow for part 1
  22. Many thanks Don......................but I ain't going anywhere near the dart board if you are playing!
