Away Support
Two games i was most looking forward to over the summer was Dens and County at home. Dens becuase its the title faves and some of my mates are Dunday supporters, and County at home for obvious reasons! Now my bands on tour in England for those two weekends! GUTTED!!! Especially after saturdays banter! Unreal!

Thanks to great away fans
Well done mate. Your right, it would be a shame if two reasonably decent set of fans cant sit close. It would be a different matter mind you if the pars were taking us to the cleaners, scoring loads of goals and you rubbing salt in the wounds. However the game wasnt like that! Football is there to be enjoyed. I live localish to EEP nowadays, and have many friends from Dunfermline, alot of which are pars fans! They were gubbed when i seen them later ha! Its not that they lost, its the way they lost. Lets face it, if there wasnt two teams and two sets of fans, there would be no game!!

Grant Munro - MOTM
I love Lee Cox, but his absence at the start of the second half sways me towards Munro. He was outstanding, best game ive seen him in. Very calm and got in the way of everything. I reckon Terry has been coaching our defence big time. Zdebi-Zadi also looked cool as a cucumber, one of his better performances in the first half aswell! Keep up these performances and we will be picking up alot of clean sheets!

Striker pecking order
I hope what your saying is true, Roony just aint going to do a job for us this season. If you are one on one with the keeper, you have to hit the target even if you do not score (even if it hits the keeper!). 3 strikes and your out, he had plenty yesterday. It took two of our midfielders to have strikes yesterday, Imrie was getting fed up so hit a cracker that stunned the keeper, and then Cox with his lovely strike! Foran should be no.1, with Sanchez feeding him. I think this could be a great partnership. Then Barrowman and Odiambo - basically Foran and Sanchez, to a lesser extent. Foran and Barrowman are box strikers, hitting the target, wheres Odi with his pace and Sanchez with his skill are perfect feeding men, but can hit the target when they want to. Sutherland is a young guy who will get his experience as he goes along. Was a bit shaky yesterday, but really came into it. Then Roony. Get him to .....

Away Support
I was well impressed, big well done guys. I was intrigued to see how we would fair after dropping a league, but to have the fan base as big as ever if not bigger was a welcoming site! Top marks! Made me very proud to be ICTFC fan! Hope it carries on!

shop and ticket office to go
Do we maybe think this is to do with Livingstone a tad? I remember reading in the highland news that George Fraser had no sympathy with Livingstone the way they were, because we followed them through the leagues and had a bit rivalry with them in the cups and so on, but where they splashed the cash, Caley always managed to balance the books. Also, i could have sworn i saw one of the shop wifeys at the game yesterday.

Also, how can i forget, Djebi-Zadi!!! Best first half he has ever had! I loved his play, apart from his mega kick that ended up in a corner, he did no wrong today! Thought he was the best bit of the game apart from Cox's wonder goal. Also Munro, always worried about him alot, but he was consistent as today! Blocked all balls heading goal-bound. Brilliant. Defence made few errors, so well done chaps!

Id agree, more positives than negatives. Positives: Cox first half performance, and end of second half. Eagles, Sanchez and Hayes all had really good spells, so i think they will come into their own. Getting 3 points off Dunfermline, one of the title contenders. Negatives: Adam f'n Roony!!!!!!! What does he do, honestly? who told this guy he could play football? I have NEVER seen this guy do anything worthwhile. He can talk to the P&J that he wants to show what hes worth with a first team start and all the rest of it, but PLEASE, this guy has had far too many chances. Give me Barraboy anytime of the week! Cant wait til Foran comes back, Roony needs to be the last choice striker we have. What about THAT miss! One on one with the keeper. I knew he would miss it, i have no faith in the guy whatsoever! And also we need to keep the pace up in the second half. First 15 minuites we were brilliant i thought, passing the ball, playing shots. We didnt come out for the second half though until the last 10 minutes. Never thought we had any chance of scoring. Well done for Cox and Imrie teaching the strikers how to hit a shot on goal. Great day!!

Whos going to Ayr?
I know its early, and i know you lot should be concentrating on getting down here to Fife for the Dunfermline game, but my band has a gig in Glasgow the 15th, perfect excuse to nip to Ayr first before it! How much of a support and roll call are we getting for this one?

shop and ticket office to go
I think the fact the have ****-poor merchandise is a big factor in this, and something they HAVE to work on. Id like to say im one of the biggest caley fans ever merchandise-wise, i love to get my hands on anything decent caley thistle. Ive even started buying the old strips that i dont have! I think we have shown so far there is a bit of a market for training tops, think we had about 20+ looking to buy one, then theres goalie tops, small size tops - and thats just the demand off here. Someone needs to grab the bull by the horns and sort it out, cos its really is quite embarrassing. I go in every matchday that im up, which is getting all the more often, and i look to see what i can get my hands on next. Ive got the books, the scarves, all the new kits inc. socks and shorts for my 5 a sides, the keyrings, pennants, everything. This wouldnt stop me buying even the goalie tops and training tops becuase i love everything about being a caley thistle supporter. If there were alot of others like me, not even near the same extent, then surely with better merchandise, there would be more sales, and it would justify having a shop? I only hope it comes back sooner than later - but alot better! Need to sort this portakabin malarky out, get something better than a metal shed! And id just like to say again how sorry i feel for the ladies....unbelievably nice! 3 of the reasons why i was proud to be a caley thistle supporter those ladies!

League Cup 2nd Round
ICT were always known for their Cup runs and shocks in the early days. I really do hope that all happens again, and was also one of the reasons that i looked forward to a year in the SFL. At least we dont have to face Falkirk in two cups and the league now, much less than that, which gives us a great chance!
