Imagine being a full time footballer, then the next month you are a part timer. Jeez.....if they dont have the motivation just now for football, will they when they are part time?

Our next 4 games....
I think these next 4 games are the make or break of our season. Ayr Away, Airdrie at home, Morton at Home, and County Away. I think we should definitely be looking at 12 points here, id probably settle for 10 realistically though. If they cant do that we really dont deserve to go back up. Ive hated all this bounce-back realted stuff, but genuinely really firmly believe even though we are well more behind than we should be, 7 points behind the leaders, but theres 4 teams in the pack and we arent there. 10 or 12 points would bring us right back in it. We are playing the 3 teams that are below us in the league, so confience should be high. Also, the teams above us all play one another so will be dropping points with one another. Then we have County away...the big one, plus its at Dingwall so no home form to panic about. Then we eventually have the Alba cup final...get a group of results in the league, get the confidence up for the Cup Final! I fail to give up believing we can do it, but i need some reassurance from somewhere, just hope its soon!

Who's the Best Player at ICT?
Apparently Sanchez put in a good shift at Raith, maybe he's trying harder. If he continues to try hard then he could be a vital player. Aye he looked good on the highlights, had a decent chance of scoring from quite far out. Yeh I've seen the highlights and he showed a couple of great touches, passes and flicks. Unlucky his shot didn't go in. Yeah, i reckon that he could do a decent job for us, sitting behind the strikers, supporting and linking up with them. I can confirm Sanchez played a big part for Ict when he came on for Imrie. Im not taking anything away from Imrie, he was good aswell especially on the counter attack. But we really looked like scoring when Sanchez came on, he got the ball - mostly outside the box, controlled it, and looked for the best options. I think this is what hes best at. Obviously with his goal tally, he knows how to hit the back of the net aswell.

Who's the Best Player at ICT?
Think everyone on their day have the potential to be great. Biggest assets to ICT at the moment are Imrie, Esson, Granty and Tokely. However, if Cox gets his act together like he did against Montrose Alba cup first game, and say Dunfermline, then he will shine through. Hayes is really impressing me, his runs down the wing are proving vital. Foran if he gets decent service, and Sanchez if he gets his ass moving. Theres 8 so far, from this years squad. Few of them need to work, but all have the potential.

The jinx is over
Im quite the opposite....first game i saw them lose was the first time i wore my black away top to a match - kilmarnock second last game of last season. In 2009 ive seen them win at Ibrox, then beat Killie 2-1 at home, then beat St Mirren 2-1, then Draw with Hamilton 1-1. Then beat St Mirren at Paisley 2-1, then that dreaded day at Rugby Park. Then got beat off Falkirk then relegation. Really hate seeing them get beat, because you cant beat that feeling of when they win!!

Raith -V- ICT : matchnight thread
Just back and settled. Hard to believe i travelled a 280 mile round trip to see inverness play at home on saturday(granted i did have a night out and stay over), then i had a 12 mile round trip tonight. Love midweek games!! Anyway, first half...not poor, but we were getting broked down and Raith were doing quite well. Granty having a great game again and nothing getting past him. Anyone else notice he won every singe header he was on tonight? Keeps impressing me. Defence was rather shaky, but not often! Could hardly play in midfield alot as they were chasing us down non stop. Second half we started alot better, couple of chances in first couple of minutes, although Raith had their own chances aswell. Imrie was doing well, catching Raith on the counter attack. Sanchez came on and i think he did really well. Was calm on the ball, and had a couple of good shots. So glad the goal came. I couldnt stand having a draw to go home to! It was like a totally different team after the goal....we passed it, were calm, and had the most chances we had all night. Why cant we play like that all the time?Well done all involved, but seriously, PLAY LIKE THAT IN THE SECOND HALF AT HOME! We should be beating Dunfermline again, but form says not.....well bugger form, lets do it!!! After a win tonight, i may well be up for the trip up again! Please dont make me hate you again if i do!! CALEY!!

My predictions for the rest of the
This could go two ways, and for me, the next two games will tell. Anything bar two wins against Raith and Dunfermline, we are in trouble. I really am looking for two wins, and if we dont, i will be happy to voice my displeasure. We surely are able to beat these teams. Anyway, if we dont get two wins, we will slowly but surely carry on the way we are....down a long slippery slope into nothingness. If we win, its a confidence booster, and then we will start getting into the winning ways. Come on Caley, i enjoy coming to the games, dont make me not come to them because i dont enjoy them! Start with a win tomorrow! If we dont find some sort of consistency, we are truly fecked.

Season 2007-2008 to the present day
My first game for a while....Beating Rangers at Ibrox 0-1 with Ian Black's penalty. Even better that Rangers beat the Tic to the title even though they dropped points against us.

Salvation via Robbo
Robbos a hearts man, always has been and still says he is in his Sun Column. As some have said, whats in the past is the past. Whos to say he would come in and do a good job? Because he has before? Nah, doesnt work like that. But dont get me wrong, id definitely be up for giving him a chance. His love for the club, striker skills, and contacts in the game all do it for me.

Our Defence
Considering we had such a low conceded goals per game tally, its all went tits up now that partick, county and queens have scored 3 into us each. How is that, on your own pitch? Dreadful Granty for me this season though has become a better player than last year. Some of his last minute tackles covering for other people is immense. Tokely was as slow as ive ever seen him saturday, he didnt care to try and get back. I was surprised at Bully since ive seen him. Guy sitting next to me was at his first game this year, and he said 'that number 3 is a bit shaky' i said it was probably just a quick blip....was it hell, he was dire all game!! Golly...well, he has a good performance then a shaky one, so still undecided about him. Think he could be quite good, but Lionels amazing runs once he gets going are missed. Terry certainly has his work cut out, but i just wished he could have found a formation that works by now.

Eagle
I dont think he is aboslutely dire, but i did think it was a confidence issue at first. If he can get past his man he can get a decent cross in. To be fair anyway, he is just going to be Imrie's benchwarmer. Imrie will always be first team when he is back to match fit...shouldnt be too long as he has a tremendous engine. Eagle's mis-placed pass was to blame for Queens scoring in 32 seconds.

Out Now Butcher !
After february 1st against Celtic, that day changed my mind about not wanting Butcher in in the first place and i really stood up for the guy....even relegation day in Falkirk, i still thought he had done all he could. Come October 10th, and the situation we are in now. I really cant stand up for the guy! If we dont WIN the next two games, never mind scrape points, ill be calling for his head. Im sorry, but he really has these next tow games next week to justify him being here. I knew in my heart of hearts we wouldnt get promoted this year, i can honestly say that looks right out the window, but relegation zone? never! no excuse for that and cant help but feel we could be made a laughing stock here! Sort it out next week Terry, and i might still support you. If not, i doubt ill be at another game until something is sorted out.

Raith roll call
There are loads up the start of the high street, ill probably head to Bar Itza for a few Bevs before hand, but it is quite the rovers pub. Few more along that street, so not sure what to expect but ill try a few perhaps. First time seein ICT in Kirkcaldy actually!
-
Raith roll call
Ill be there. I think big things will happen if we dont get two WINS on the trot here. But ill be there to see the adventure unfold. Me +1 at the mo.

Alba cup final tickets
Are these facts definite though? and are we definitely only being allocated 3,400? Hope this is wrong, for alot of the points already mentioned! Dont see why alot of fans wont be up for this, it is a fair easy trip down the A9, albeit not as easy a trip as the Dee;s down the A90. Hope we get a crowd for this.
-
Barry Wilson
I love them both, you dont get much bigger Caley Thistle legends that Barry and Dennis, along with Charlie, Iain etc. They are all up there. Ill be applauding them before and after.....cant help thinking though if Bazza puts in a good performance tomorrow, could he really do a job for us in January? Bring him back to the club he belongs, and get him in a coaching job next year with us! Id like nothing more tbh....considering he still stays in the Highlands, even better!
-
Cup final drinks
Well game for this!! Me and a few mates, and a Dee supporter and his mates will all be up!
-
Alba cup final tickets
Im game for it! And will bring as many as....even though most of my mates here support my mates team the Dee's. Still though, crackin day out for us!

the sending off which was deserved
Think it was totally unproffesional the fact that the guy elbowed Hayes, then tried to quickly take the throw in with Hayes still on the floor? WHAT? Thats not sportsman at all. Good job we got through. Now lets carry that onto the league!!
-
Never mind the diddy of diddy cups
To be honest, the ALBA cup was one of the things that i started to look forward to after relegation, aswell as hoping for other good cup runs. Id like to see us win every game, and i dont see why i should be shot down for that. I dont want to sacrifice a cup for a league win, lets do it both, theres no reason why we cant! Queens have a had a good consistent season so far, which is what we need to find! Its been said over and over again, to do well in this league you need CONSISTENCY. We dont have that just now, but i have faith we can turn it around.

Boycott the Gypo Game
It hits the board, but it also hits the players too. Not up for it even though i cant get up to it. Id love to see nothing more than us beat the gypos and get to the final with dundee...apart from see us win the league obviously!! PS. Worst font ever.

Team for Partick
Duffs Injured. I say get Duncan in there. He deserves a shot at it, and get Mcbain in so Stratford isnt. Id go with Sanchez and Foran as they paired well against Partick the last time, but with the way Barrowman worked himself on tuesday, id be happy to see him getting a start, at least a good length of time if he is subbed. Looks like he might really want to get it together and work fir the shirt - and quite rightly so! Id hate to think anyone thought there shirt was safe!!

Motherwell V ICT :matchnight thread
Nah, you really dont understand me at all, even though you are right in what you are saying. And I expected a gubbing because Motherwell are on an unbeaten streak since the start of the season and are obviously on form AND, well, i was there to witness the absolutely dire performance at Airdrie on saturday. Put these two expectactions together = drubbing. It was NOT because i feel the team are worse than ever. I would not go to games to support them if i thought this! Always have been ICT and always will be.

Motherwell V ICT :matchnight thread
I know what AF is meaning. I went there last night expecting a humping from a Motherwell team unbeaten this season. We went there and held them to a 2-2 draw over 90 mins, with them playing against 10 men for 20 of those. We went there and got a draw, where we expected to be taken out, so its better than that happening, therefore not a bad result and a good performance to boot. Good to see the highlights.
