  1. No matchday thread?
  2. Definitely. I can even see us going to Pittodrie and getting 3 points..they arent at their best just now and the fans are asking for Caldo's head...good times! Think we could take advantage of that. St Mirren are hardly any better than us looking a the table, so we could surely beat them at home, and Hamilton if they are still hampered with injuries! Sure gonna enjoy it!
  3. Butcher think if we win all our home games we have left, which is 4, would give us 12 points, which leaves us with 40 points, which he thinks would leave us safe. I cant see this, so we need to pick up points away aswell. I personally belive we could go to Aberdeen and get something, eaven a win, and we should be able to beat St Mirren at home. Hamilton at home on 18th could be a good one aswell, esepcially if they are still hampered by injuries. I would LOVE Falkirk to go down, but cant see it. Picked up a few points in their last few games, and in the Semis of the cup. Killie dont look good for me either, but AS LONG AS IT ISNT US, i couldnt care less.

Munro got player of the team in The Sun today...shows how bad we played. No player got more than a 6.
  5. i was impressed with vigurs against rangers in january, when we lost 3-0. he stood out for me, although he couldnt put his shots away! we still have the same problem though - we dont have a striker that can put the ball in the net. an even bigger problem is getting the ball to a strikable position too mind you.
  6. wow wow, dont be shoutin at me now! i didnt notice this thread, and posted a new thread. thanks to the mods though, they have moved my topic into this thread instead. cheers mods!
  7. We all know how big these four home games are, and now they have answered our calls basically and added a 'The Big Four' season ticket offer for the home games. Anyone know when they go on sale, and how much they are? Although i will say if they play with the enthusiasm they had against Falkirk, i think i wont!
  8. I believe!! but i also think falkirk will stay up now too. If they beat Kilmarnock after they play Rangers and Celtic, then i tip Killie to go down. But theres plenty of games in the split where we play each other. As Terry has said, we have 4 home games...Win them, we are safe. I think we will stay up, but Falkirk are coming back into themselves now too, so dont think it will be them either! Beat St Mirren and we can make it easy for ourselves. We need to play football though, not bloody long balls up the park and hope for the best. I also dont think Rooney is the guy to be playing to try and get goals. the 3 games i have been at that he has played, hasnt done a thing for me!
  9. yes they do. i find that most jjb's do sell the local teams strip, so im surprised the inverness branch doesnt follow suit. maybe something to do with keeping it to the club shop? the jjbs near me just mostly sell rangers and celtic and scotland. but then dunfermline or raith rovers arent in the spl.
  10. noticed that on saturday, wasnt looking the best. was living up to its daily record of 5/10 even ha. as said, 2 weeks off will do it some good. hope we are 7 points ahead of falkirk for that 2 weeks!
  11. have to say, im not up alot, but it was very noticeable the guy on the mic. think we could have a little more enthusiastic person than him. seen other comments, doing it for the love of the job, hes a football man, thats all very good...but its not very professional. imagine what the Killie fans were thinking ha! Just aswell we pumped them!

I like Imrie. Great worker! When he gets out wide he makes good use of the ball, with his pace and a usual good cross. Foran for me needs to be up front now. He makes use of every ball. I was delighted to see him score yesterday, especially getting in that space whilst onside. Imrie never got much chance yesterday though. I think Foran and Imrie might make a good partnership though, who knows.

Kerr stood out to me yesterday. Hardly made any mistakes, in fact i can only think of one but thats becuase he was under pressure. Few more of that and he will be first team. I also see Foran gettin more comfartable with every game...hes going to be a keeper for us IMO.
  14. A win gives us a 7 point cushion over Falkirk but I wouldn't say they were doomed just yet. Killies next 4 games aren't easy ones and I can see both them and the Midden fall further. I think I'll be at this one. this is true, but with Falkirk having to play Celtic and Rangers on the Wednesday and Saturday after the Saturday they play us, they dont have it easy either! Falkirk for the drop!!!!
  15. as said, second half was poor. hardly any passing, just long balls up to either imrie or rooney, whoever was up there alone. pavels was great. only one thing though, him and munro, and munro and esson, need to talk to each other more. too many times munro though pavels was going to get it, or vice versa, and esson not making a shout for munro to put it out for a corner and stuff. im sure big Tel will big up on this though. Great first half, poor second. Still well worth the journey up though to see us take another 3 points!

i personally thought he was great. only one slip up that i can remember, and a clearance kick that didnt go very far. he sometimes looks uneasy to me, as in uncomfortable, but yesterday he looked confident, even when under pressure. he would always take a touch of the ball, and take on the killie players and then make a pass. it will take a while for him to pay back the fans for making ICT lose to falkirk last week, i would have been a different game if he stayed on, but he is going the right way about it.
  17. i shall be there! my old man thinks he will be up for this aswell!!
  18. Kylef replied to Kylef's topic in Caley Thistle
Home shorts, away shirt, away shorts, tracksuit for myself n when i told my old man about them he wanted one too, couple of window strips for my car and van, 2 scarfs, tammy...loads of other wee things. dont get up much, so when i did i thought id take advantage. the girls asked if i wanted a job in there ha! first game at the caley stadium in 2 years. been to plenty away games. long drive up for me, but i intend to now do it at least once a month. had to put the foot down to get home to go and see The Enemy in Dunfermline. good to have the strips and stuff for away games though too. cant wait for falkirk on saturday!!

Your not a fan of James Corden?! Loser. that makes me a loser? ha
  21. Kylef replied to Yngwie's topic in Caley Thistle
Tells John Terry to be more like Terry Butcher the legend with the bloody bandage around hes head! He is more a legend in my eyes now, obviously. Not a fan of that James Cordon, but though that was quite funny.
  22. Maybe Falkirk wore their 'away' top because it was an 'away' game?? Our home top doesn't look the same as Falkirks and I agree with others that our black top is more similar to Falkirk's dark blue. teams dont necessarily where their away tops when they play away games. the difference between caleys blue and falkirk home navy blue isnt the biggest difference ive seen for a match, hence why i asked the question.
  23. Kylef replied to Kylef's topic in Caley Thistle
i'll check in the shop 2mor and get back to ya some guy! cheers! i should be up for the Killie game on Saturday, so dont go out your way. Would be good to know though so theres no big surprises
  24. Falkirk used their away top on Saturday there while they were at the Tulloch, presumably becuase their navy-blue home top clashed with the blue of ICT. So what happened when caley go to Falkirk's Westfield, becuase they cant use their away top as it is black and clashes even more with the Falkirk home top than their own home top?
  25. +4 here for long sleeved shirts. i try and buy all my scotland shirts in long-sleeve, i would be well up for a caley long sleeve shirt aswell!
