  1. So do 2,000+ fans at games Oh no, I chant, I just don't retort.......
  2. It's great when you get a banter merchant near you. I don't have a season ticket so my seat moves (or rather, I do) from place to place. Some people just don't have it though. Theres a couple of guys in the North stand, both defo season ticket holders who do the 'Empty vessels make the most noise' phrase justice!! There are some really funny guys about though. P.S I just stay quiet.....
  3. 1st thing, whilst I agree he tends to be a fat lazy pie eater, Boyd is always in the right place at the right time. He's alot like David Healy - not very good, but invaluable at getting goals. Rangers fans are unbelievably right in that respect in that goals win games. Obvious yes and fairly simple. For me Burley has made all the rookie mistakes. 1. Allowed friendlies against teams we had little chance of winning and thus damaging our rankings (and confidence) which is important when it comes to seedings for qualifaction. Even if our top 20 status was a little flattering it was done through shrewd management in only arranging winnable friendly games to test players (ie Nigeria, USA and likewise) 2. He also decided to ignore squad regulars in favour of people like Clarkson and Teale. Neither of which are even Scotland international quality. 3. He has changed our philosophy to a footballing team apparently. Taking away from our attributes in set pieces and alike. Anyone who is honest will realise that Scotland are limited and need to play to strengths. Also from what I've seen, we've never played such awful football since Vogts darkest days. There doesnt appear to be the same belief or organisation as under our previous two managers. 4. Where it may be a childish point and he (TB - lord and saviour) is a great motivator, he was never going to win any fans by appointing an Englishman regardless of who he was. And to allow him to have his own war of words about a friendly with which Diego Maradona was involved was a further error and undermined his authority. It became a circus. 5.Broadfoot and Magregor. One is a very limited player and the other is niave. Two public slatings on their playing ability. Maybe the KB one was used to fire him up and in a sense it worked as he scored. I think it was more an honest assessment which a manager shouldnt say. He then says certain players were niave and shouldnt allow themselves to be blocked. Te moment in question is Van persies goal. a) Dirk Kuyt is a high quality player who knows how to be a nuisance. Its part of his job. even Van persie thought it was obstruction. Burley the rule that Fergie never does. Dont slag off individuals. Its a team game. 6. This Boozegate situation (the most overblown hoo ha in world history) is making him look the fool. 1st he allowed players to go the the bar for a quick drink and got taken advantaged of. Then HE banned the two idiots for life. Last week it was his decision. Gordon Smith doesnt know what the official line is. Neither does Peat. Today, he says he gave no permission and banning was nothing to do with him. If I was the manager and that decision on player staff was taken away from me I wouldnt be happy. It SHOULD be his decision. He has been further undermined. At the time i felt Burley was the right guy for the job but it's one mess after another and his superiors are not helping. I am not totally sure what type of respect there is for him. Constant contradictions (he only plays people who are playing then plays Gordon) and mismanagment of individuals have hampered him and I question whether he is able to manage at this level. He appears out of his depth. But I will support him along with Scotland to get the results we require. Wins against Norway and Moldova and something against the Dutch (who will have qualified by then) I agree with you actually.
  4. Why cause they're both black? No. Their somewhat 'eccentric' styles of play and defending especially are incredibly similar but they are both black as well. They are indeed and your point is....? That they're obviously brothers then......
  5. Why cause they're both black? No. Their somewhat 'eccentric' styles of play and defending especially are incredibly similar but they are both black as well.
  6. I reckon Hamilton ICT Killie Midden Falkirk I also think that it will be down to single points between all the teams.
  7. He was caught being 'nice' to my little brother by the police. It's cool now though.
  8. I just think it is disappointing that our manager and assistant manager have not played at a level, like you, that would allow them your insight into this situation! Talk about making facts fit!! What a load of rubbish! . Please accept my sincere apologies for having a different opinion to you **** come back.
  9. Esson's a good keeper... True, as is Fraser but they don't count as more often than not, they don't have a chance to do anything to stop shots because Munro's wild swing at the ball has failed to connect, belted Pavels in the knackers, who has then fallen to the deck clutching his man bits, and at the exact same moment as his face has hit the deck, Lionel has tried to dribble the ball out of the 6 yard box, and has been tackled by pavels' face. This has one again resulted in Arfield scoring for Falkirk. Meanwhile, Tokley (AKA 'the Athlete') is still trying to flat foot run back from the opposition by line.
  10. I just think they're all pish. Pavel excluded.
  11. Hibs player (Bamba I think) had a rapid header from around 10 yards out brilliantly saved by Howard. People were saying on this site he's dodgy but, he looked good there. I think it was Rankin who crossed it........
  12. You have a HUGE amount of faith!!! It is all possible though.........
  13. Hibs were woeful tonight but they could have won it if Howard hadn't made THAT save. Brilliant goal keeping!!
  14. When it comes to arses naturally we bow (well perhaps not) to your superior knowledge, Knowledge! Can you imagine what he (Warnock) might have said if one of his players had been attacked like that? I do know a good arse when I see one, picked that up of my father. Warnock would blame Tevez and sue west ham if that had happened to one of his players!! Were we ever really considering him as a manager or, as I hope, was it just **** talk?
  15. Here, I used to work in the pie bit. Don't touch them!!!!!!
  16. Certainly looked deliberate to me.... Duncan Ferguson went to jail for less than that. Warnock's a feckin erse.... thank feck he never came here. Warnock is an arse. I've looked a couple of more times and, I don't know how he can defend Davis there.
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Elln4RG3SCY Cardiff are very upset about this one.... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ity/7995400.stm What do you think? I can't tell if he did it on purpose.
  18. I HONESTLY said "Nah mate, i've got no change on me" when I saw that. Jut my natural response!!!
  19. GOD!! I just went to his wikipedia page and nearly shat myself!! You could have warned us about that picture!!!
  20. Dunno about Spooons, but he's always prancing about Love on a Saturday night. Rates himself faaar too highly IMO. Would rather see him and Morais on the wings with Eric and Foran upfront. I was meanig the Spoooooonies (eh!) in Lanark. Sounds like our Dougie is a top class athlete!!!
  21. The word in Lanark is when he (Imrie) has a good game for Caley he can be seen a matter of hours later drinking in the Weatherspoons, soaking up the aclaim. I was told his school nickname as well. If he mentions a bigger club again, I'll tell you all it, as well as the reasons. Anyhoo...... when TB started with Rooney against Rangers, and then took on Imrie, it worked brilliantly. Probably because Rooney will hate Rangers (I'm basing that on nationality, weak, I know) and Imrie wants to play for them. There has been nothing from either of them since. Rooney has a really poor first touch and I think he's got that Barrowman look of not really trying. At least Imrie tries although, his technique is balls. Can you remember that volley against Falkirk? It was unlucky but, that summed his finishing up, hopeful. Is Barrowman as bad as he's making out? I can't believe that. Why do they keep playing him? I would play Fornan and Eric up front. I would say Foran and Morias if I didn't think Proctor would play on the right as a result........
  22. True. I forgot about him. Riise is a better left back than Hutton is right back
  23. Scott Brown and who else? Gordon, erm, eh, Fletcher, er, did I mention Gordon? Oh, Commons. He's good......
  24. I agree, nothing to worry about.
  25. Someone help me here, I can't decide if I want Killie or Falkirk to win, or a draw?
