  1. As Jethro would say..."Christ" :crazy07:
  2. Bazza 4 sure :022:
  3. A step on from Tincanfans poll on top scorer for next season, how many SPL goals do you think your nominated top scorer will get next season ? Also not entirely scientific i know, but how many SPL goals do you think that player needs to score to help ensure we finish in a higher position than last season ?
  4. I would be disappointed if Bayne did not start up front, With Wyness or Mcdonald. id be inclined to go with Wyness at first introduce Mcdonald early in the second half if the game is going away from us, maybe last 15-20 mins otherwise. Perhaps not at all if we are controlling the game.
  5. Will be hoping to attend at least 2 of the last 4.... :021:
  6. If you look at the clubs who are in the financial position to buy their way to success then there ain't much room left in the top 6 for the others, obviously money don't always mean success, but i wonder if we lack a couple of key players who can give the club more consistant performances in a upward direction. Players from our level or higher, can we afford These type of players? Think we will finish between 7th-9th
  7. STORY FROM TODAYS BRISTOL EVENING POST Bristol City have today signed Ivan Sproule from Hibernian, manager Gary Johnson expressed delight at finally capturing a player he has been tracking for several months. Johnson says he will probably be the fastest thing youll see in the championship next season. How do you guys rate him as a player ??
  8. Here's one that Bristol Rovers FC have come up with for next season, any kids under 10 who have a Young Pirates membership(cost around £8.00 per season) get a free season ticket. They are calling it their commitment to the younger generation. Now i understand that this ain't going to generate much income initially but you have got to speculate to accumulate. Personally if i lived close enough to attend all home matches, there would be an extra 3 bums on seats from my family through this scheme, and two of them at least would become regular visitors for years to come.
  9. Bristol Rovers would be a dream tie for me............BRFC doing a pre season tour in Scotland in July Cowdenbeath,Dunfirmline & Airdrie i believe. Not the most glamorous opposition i suppose. But proper.
  10. 18th for me...too many draws or not enough wins !! :33:
  11. African & Caribbean football nations greedy..........blokes a racialist :001:
  12. Bristol Rovers Sky Sports 3. 3PM tomorrow at Wembley.......... :021:
  13. 3 home & 1 away Not bad for a Bristol boy.
  14. Last seasons pts total would have given us 5th place this time around, as Alex's statistics show we scored 9 more goals 05/06 and conceded 12 more than this season. Wonder what caused this? CD & DW long term injury up front or the defence not performing as well this time around(including losing MB) or just the general over all team performance. Obviously if we would have scored those extra 9 goals or not conceded the extra 12 goals than last season our position could have been alot better.

Liverpool or AC Milan who dya fancy for this one. Me thinks that Milan may have a little to much tonight, and a score to settle. If its a bad night predict 3-1 Milan
  16. If you lot got nothing better to do switch Sky sports on tonight, Bristol Rovers V Lincoln 2nd leg play off semis 2nd division, winners play at Wembley next weekend v Shrewsbury or M K Dons. A few players in the Rovers team would fit in very nicely at ICT. Steve Philips keeper. Steve Elliot, Byron Anthony central defence. Stuart Cambell, Craig Disley midfield. Lewis Haldane up front. Up the gas :021:
  17. Good shout Maimie, in different circumstances would loved to have taken part myself with me boy, hope the weather is better for the guys and girls than it is down here in wind swept and very wet Bristol. Good luck to u all :022:
  18. Most off the corporate types ain't interested in the team probably not football either, just there for the jolly, and to be seen to be in the right company.
  19. :010: Colchester are on the verge of the playoffs for the Premiership and he is also playing for the team he supports, his wages would be 3x the contract we have offered to Dargo to stay on. He is a belter of a player though but we really have no chance. It really depends who goes down, if St Mirren go I would like think we would put in a substantial bid for Sutton, if Dunfermline go then (as mentioned by 'Sir C the third' on another thread) Burchill would be an interesting option, Wilson is a possibility for centre half (although a thug). Buchanan has netted 18 goals this season and could be worth looking at, Bryan Deasley from Dundee is a very nippy young striker. I think the signing of Proctor is a done deal for cover if nothing else. Fair comment there Harry, but the question was asked and JC would be a player who would undoubtedly increase our fortunes. Just in case anyone read into my reply on this one wrong, i didn't mean any disrespect to Craig or Dennis with my answer, think they are both great players for ICT.

Can say with all honesty that there are at least 2 names on it... :014:
  21. Jamie Cureton....plays for a small town club in England called Colchester....age probably 32 but would score us more goals than Dargs & Dens between them.
  22. Something that has already been touched on, but today we got 3 points regardless of whatever went on out theregood or bad, its good to get the win. Darg's is back in town long live the King...... :021:

Most definitely an essential part of any complete stadium, a club house or bar preferably selling food, apart from anything else it would help generate money for the football club.
  24. Great result for the boys today, especially with DD sending off early in the match, just read CC post match comments, just wish he would lay off the small club mentality abit. No matter if true or not.
  25. Knowing what football can throw up wouldnt be surprised to see the boys turn over the Gers today.
