Would have been a good signing again at the right price but he's nowhere near good enough to justify breaking our wage structure for.
  2. A home tie. Don't much care who against. We showed last year that we are capable of beating anyone in this competition.
  3. A plucky performance from the club that have never played at the top level to hold Premiership Kilmarnock to a draw. I hope the media pay them some attention....

Yes...he oversaw our Scottish Cup win.
  5. The only part of that post with any merit is the final sentence. What was a contentious issue was quickly resolved to the general satisfaction of all those directly involved with a consensus of going forward together a good result by any standards. However, you, who are not directly involved want to continue to stir things up and create further bitterness and disharmony. Come on, some mistakes were made on both sides, those have been acknowledged and dealt with quickly and appropriately. Move on and let it go. Whatever happened to Togetherness....
  6. The OP might have been slightly disingenuous in suggesting that it was Much Ado About Nothing but it looks after the welcome hastily convened meeting it could be a case of All's Well That Ends Well. Well done to all concerned at let's hope that our generally fantastic young crew can continue to support the team loudly and proudly but within the law.
  7. Could it be that the venue you describe as a dive is convenient, has a history of support for the club and is reasonably priced ?
  8. A real fans favourite and rightly so but not sure he's the manager's favourite.
  9. Not in any way wanting to make light of a premature and tragic death which I'm sure our fans will join in in marking but some of us are at the stage where our minutes applause would be well into the second half.....
  10. Will CJT be running a bus to the meeting ?
  11. I don't think anyone is looking for or finding a negative in the club statement. Some have merely pointed out that there is a subtle and apparently deliberate ambiguity which there is. I don't think there is a soul who's not pleased that Greg is staying with us at least until the Summer.
  12. Airbles is actually a fair bit closer to Fir Park than Motherwell station. Maybe ten minutes walk at a reasonable pace as opposed to closer to twenty minutes from Motherwell.
  13. I don't know about you but I would need a bit of convincing to stay where I was rather than move along the road for double my salary. The important point is not that he had to be convinced but that, whether he required convincing or not, he decided to stay.
  14. Perhaps he was one of those on the bus who behaved and feels he has been unjustifiably punished for the conduct of others...
  15. I honestly don't think this has caused too much bad blood between the clubs or the fans. I for one hope the Dons go on to win every remaining league game of the season bar one (two if we make top six) and give us a real title race. Can you imagine it, the Weegie press and two thirds of BBC Scotland would be close spontaneous combustion if at the end of the league season the big cup was in Inverness, the little cup in Dingwall and the league title in Aberdeen....
  16. We are football fans, this is a football forum, as far as I'm aware none of us are Greg Tansey.....of course we are speculating....
  17. Think yogi is gradually working his way towards a 1-9-0 formation with the 'keeper being flexible enough to help out the midfield now and again..

Might be better seeing if Joan Collins can source us any players...
  19. I think it is pretty well accepted that Aberdeen only really turned their attention to Tansey once they were pipped by Hearts to the signature of Don Cowie.
  20. The statement is indeed ridiculous. There is a healthy rivalry between the clubs. We do have a natural resentment that you tend to nick our best players but most of us recognise that were the positions reversed and we were able to double your player's wages the traffic along the A96 would be in the opposite direction and is simple commercial reality. Finally, although your club were a bit heavy on the rent, most of us recognise that we would not have been able to take up our place in the top league were it not for the Dons offering to share Pittodrie and many of us remain grateful for it. I would hope that the ill informed nonsense spouted by ignorant Weegie based journalists does nothing to sour what have been generally good relations. Good luck tonight against Celtic and give us a proper title challenge at long last. You will need those three points as you will not be leaving Inverness with any later in the month.
  21. He was not sentenced merely for letting off the smoke device, if that was all he would, without doubt, have received a community disposal. He very much compounded matters by going to some lengths to defeat the ends of justice by concealing his identity and, worse still, wilfully defied an order of the court within days of it being imposed and his agreeing to it as a condition of being granted bail. Frankly, in those particular set of circumstances, the Sheriff was left with very little alternative. A stupid young man who was the author of his own misfortune but, as others have said, a cautionary tale for those of our own fans wanting to follow suit.
  22. and the answer is that Dingwall is a very small town with very many fewer businesses able to purchasing advertising space than exist in the relatively large, by comparison, city of Inverness. Nothing more sinister than that.
  23. Paranoid nonsense, maybe Aberdeen and their manager are in league with Barry Wilson to do us down....

Hughes doesn't seem to have many useful Scottish connections either.....
