What a dive?
My middle aged memory plays tricks on me these days but I seem to remember Brian Thompson's OG in our Scottish Cup quarter final against Rangers at Tannadice being pretty spectacular too.

Season Ticket Update
A great Christmas present, reasonably priced, for anyone, particularly in the Inverness area keen to watch a team generally playing attractive football and well in the hunt for promotion and maybe even the league title or indeed anyone wishing to treat themselves.

You beat me to it. Absolutely agree. Whilst I don't think it's probable, with the effect of the new omicron variant being unknown, there remains the possibility that the season could be terminated early so, as you say, now that we have regained top spot, there is a huge additional incentive to hold onto it.

On the foorball front, I am probably more worried about the effects of injury and suspension rather than Covid which is why, if at all possible from a financial point of view, that we strengthen in the transfer window. This is probably our best opportunity to get back into the Premiership since we were relegated.

Wonderful. Much much much more like it and that boost to our goal difference could make a difference come the end of the season. We started our league campaign with five consecutive wins and, on this form, there is no reason why we can't go on to match or even better that continuing at home to Hamilton next week. All we have now is the league but that always was the biggest prize of all this season and we need to keep our eyes now very firmly on that prize.

Jack Ross, surprise?
Me too. Their recent league form has been abysmal, especially given their budget, but they have enjoyed success in the League Cup and had a decent start to the league season before their current slump. I would have thought that he merited at least another month.

It wasn't for the want of trying with the first visits to the Longman being in utero followed by infant sized strips. However, I am pleased and proud that they have decided to support their local team rather than one of the ugly sisters and sincerely hoping for the ability to rub their noses in league victories over the Dons again next season as once was so often the case in the past.

Inverness CT -V- Morton - ScCup
A small club that we have failed to overcome in two recent attempts. If we are to maintain our title challenge with any credibility then that has to change on Saturday and certain players have to step up to the mark no matter what, very legitimate sounding, complainants they may have about the changing facilities.

Gardyne is indeed a loss and we need to find a replacement during the January window. However, I do think that we would also benefit from some cover in defence for the run in. The only game in town now is the league and we need to be in the strongest position to gain promotion, hopefully automatically but at the very minimum though the play offs.
