  1. Despite starting the original thread on this subject I would genuinely like Craig Brewster to be a success as ICT manager as a successful manager means a successful team. However, all the signs, including his disasterous stewardship at Tannadice, indicate that he is a very poor manager indeed. I believe that if he's still at the TCS this time next season we will be heading for the first division. For that reason, I have voted no.
  2. That was my initial thought as well Caley D. However the silence on the matter from Dennis and his agent since Graeme Bennett's comments a week ago makes me wonder.
  3. Strange, just what I was thinking.
  4. I agree that the fact that neither Denzil or his agent have sought to rebut Graeme Bennett's statement adds considerable credance to it. A sad state of affairs if an agent's greed has led to the loss of someone who remains one of the more skillful players at the club. If Denzil was unaware of what his agent was attempting to do on his behalf then it's surely time for him to get a new agent or dispense with the services of an agent altogether. I can understand why Premiership players who are involved in substantial commercial endorsemant, image rights and the like might need professional assistance but surely someone in Wyness's position who is an intelligent mature adult can negotiate terms of employment at a financial level not dissimilar to a lot of fans and without any other complications without requiring the services of a third part who will then take a slice of whatever cake he's managed to secure.
  5. No player by the name of Rat is going to sign for a club with a cat as their mascot !
  6. I believe that Denzil, through his agent, has been in talks this week with County about a pre contract agreement but that nothing has been agreed.
  7. The relatively high proportion f women in the crowd is interesting for those of us who had believed that women attending football in significant numbers was a relatively modern phenomenon.
  8. I'm very pleased for Marius, although he may be the cause of much disquiet at the club he's not personally responsible for it. He must have done enough to get into the squad for the next friendly with a view to trying to force his way into the squad for the finals. If he does and puts up a decent showing will probably go in the summer transfer window which might, in the long run, be best for all concerned.
  9. Stabilty is indeed what's required but Brewster seems incapable of providing it.
  10. Surely if it comes down to either Munro leaving or Brewster there can only be one winner.
  11. Great historical footage. I note that the Howden End was uncovered. When did the enclorure there go up ?
  12. It would be great to have him back but I can't see it happening.
  13. Why is it that games between two clubs from the same town or city are called derbies when Derby only has one team ?
  14. There might be an element of breaking the bank in a struggle to reach the Premiership but I bet that the majority of the clubs that have gone into administration are in the lowest two divisions with no realistic Premiership ambitions merely struggling to make ends meet.
  15. Don Cowie's performances earlier in the season although even they seem to have faded of late.
