  1. Anywhere between 200 and 800 usually. I'd imagine there'll be around 400 at this game, which will still be a lot more than the usual amounts that Killie, Hamilton et al bring up.
  2. Just seen that the game is being reshown on the BBC Alba channel on 168 tonight at 8pm
  3. That might have worked if Ross County were still playing in the Second Division and you spelled his name right...
  4. This will be the first Dons v. ICT game i've ever missed at Pittodrie; since i'll be in Inverness at a stag-doo next weekend. The Pittodrie pitch is shocking just now, so i'd quite like us to consider that in the naming of our lineup. Tall strikers needed for this one methinks... Wood? Barrowman?
  5. If anyone is bored and fancies having a go at the Scotland quiz i've made for our supporters bus down to Hampden, could you tell me if there's any mistakes...?? File name: Scotland Quiz for Iceland Bus.docx Download link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/zczymo0zt5v File name: Answers for quiz.docx Download link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/jong4m451lz I'm quite proud of this effort, some really good ones in there I feel
  6. I'll donate 5% them of my winnings should Killie get relegated.* *stuck ?30 on them to get relegated last July at odds of 14-1...
  7. A short highlights package would be a good investment on the main sight I feel. Even a small subscription of a few ? a month would pay for the equipment, wages and time involved in recording and editing 5 or so minutes of reserve games. For many overseas fans, this would be the only way they may see footage of our players playing against teams outwith the Old Firm (without the use of Arabic channels or Setanta).

Or even better scoring lol but i would prefer he didnt even get the chance too I take it you are being ironic here? I'd like to see Barrowman get another chance... if he gets decent service, he'll start scoring for fun.
  9. Mulgrew can't defend. Even his manager admits it. I'm going to go out on a limb and say we'll be spending most of the game v. Holland in our own half... I liked Jay McEveley when he played LB in the matches v. South Africa and Lithuania. Shame he's faded out the team now. Would've also liked to see Mark Wilson and Whittaker get a look in for this squad, in the absence of the injured McNaughton; but whatwith Wilson just coming back from injury and Whittaker playing very little i'm not surprised to see their ommission.
  10. Your loss I suppose If it came between either Scotland winning the World Cup or ICT winning the SPL, it'd be Scotland every single time for me...
  11. Has done many times for Hibs, and played there v. Croatia... setting up Kenny Miller's equaliser. When did scotland play croatia??? This time last year, Hampden. 1-1.
  12. Has done many times for Hibs, and played there v. Croatia... setting up Kenny Miller's equaliser.
  13. To answer a few points... Commons is 100% left footed, but he isn't afraid of using his right foot; very decent cross of the ball with both feet. He is playing just off the strikers for Derby County at the moment, but has been used on both wings by club and country. Naysmith is a weak link, but has experience on his side for this important game. I'd like to see Alexander playing left back, as he has shown twice against France that he is more than capable of shackling players that look to cut inside. McAllister has been playing very well for Bristol for more than a couple of seasons and deserves to be in the squad. Broadfoot and Barr are in the squad for versatility and experience respectively. They are backups and will be warming the bench for both games, unless injury and suspension kick in. Gary O'Connor isn't in the squad because he's only just come back from 5 months out injured. Came on as a sub for last 20mins in the last Birmingham game. He still needs to prove he has the right attitude, after all the messing about he did in the last campaign. Our centre defence will be Weir and McManus, as Burley has an agreement with Weir that he'll only call him up if he plans on playing him. As a result it'll be Caldwell sitting in front of the defence instead of Hartley, as Caldwell has done for Celtic recently and he did v. France at home. Injuries permitting the team will be -----------------------Gordon------------------------- Hutton--------Weir--------------McManus-----Naysmith ----------------------Caldwell-------------------------- -------Fletcher------Ferguson--------Brown-------- ---------------------Commons----------------------- ---------------------Miller----------------------------
  14. Left footed outfield players: Commons, S.Fletcher, McAllister, Naysmith, McManus, Berra. Get yourself checked out if you think our players should merit a place in that squad! Esson and Black perhaps as backups, but GK and Midfield are Scotland's best covered positions. I'd gladly have any of those players in an ICT shirt (even Broadfoot!), as they are better quality than we have currently.
  15. Poor old Dorus De Vries letting Hasting's tame free kick go straight through him, which in the end contributed to Dunfermline's relegation...
  16. I like it!
  17. Brilliant touch and run from Dargo! If (a big IF) St Mirren get through, fingers crossed we don't mess up!
  18. When Butcher was appointed and got the draw against Celtic in his first game, I agreed that if he guided us to SPL safety I would wear a bloodstained England top (with matching headband) for 1 hour at work, where anyone who wanted to take a photo, could. I've recently found out that one of the Office worker's sons is a reporter for the Evening Express... and has said that he would be well up for doing a wee story and photoshoot, if we end up safe. Drat!! I did a similar thing for the Scotland v. Italy game last Nov, where I agreed to get a 'back, sack and crack' wax for the Sunshine Appeal Charity, if Scotland won. I'll wait to see if we make the final before any other 'bright ideas'!!

    What did I do?
  20. A copy of my Celebration update on another forum I use in Abdn: Ankle is in the champagne ice bucket trying to reduce the swelling; gained from victimisation on the 5-aside pitch (Team Highlander still secure 2nd spot on the final game of the season!!); bottle of champagne (been on ice since Scotland v. Italy Nov 2007) is nearly finished; and i'm loving the threads on PieandBovril.com and Caleythistleonline.com! Away to make sure i've got my ICT strip ready for tomorrow at work and waiting patiently for the highlights to appear on bbc.co.uk/football. My ankle ligaments and burst lip are mega sore, but tonight has been immense
  21. Neither can I~!!! And i'm the teacher!!! Definitely taking in my ICT top
  22. Andy Fordham, Graham Dott, Queen Elizabeth, plenty of students at my school... Just opened the champagne which has been on ice since the Scotland v. Italy game in Nov 2007... EDIT: A Tina Turner advertisement just came on tv!!! Simply the best!?!?!? Hahahahahaha!!!
  23. And why would that be? As a double act they seem to be great... however, both have struggled as a solo manager. My main concern is if Butcher moves on and Malpas is installed as manager in his own right. Never mind all that though! Lets focus on positivity today
  24. Any excuse to get a picture of our new TA branch flag uploaded... 'Hope' they do start together...
  25. funnily enough i might make this game as i'll be heading back from MUNICH having been to see the mighty AC/DC... :thumb04: :018: I wonder if we'll be 'Back in Black' away strips for this game...
