  2. I thought the exact same thing, Its a brilliant idea for a set up. I found the database a couple of months ago on the Sports Interactive (SI) Community. Here is the link but you need to be a member to view the forum so just sign up. http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=157069 Its called the Scottish Pyramid, Platinum Edition. The only thing i didn't like about it was the several B teams that are in the lower leagues. They completely run riot as they are using 2nd string players from Rangers,Celtic Aberdeen etc. They can't get promoted after a certain league so whoever finished below them ends up being promoted. Unless of course you go Rangers, Celtic, Aberdeen etc then its brilliant as your 2nd string players get first team experience and are kept more than happy playing first team football.
  3. I am currently about to start a new Scottish league as Golspie Sutherland. I'm not too sure if anyone has ever used this Custom Database but it is excellent and really revamps the scottish league into something special. The added bonus of going teams like Inverness City or Clachnacuddin is good is well. Sorry for the ridiculously long message but i just wanted to let you's all know the details and maybe this will interest you to give it a go. 4. I presume the buyer has been able to keep the guitar and Ebay themselves has paid the buyer back the money. This has happened to me before as i sell on ebay very regularly. It's the gamble you have to take when you sell things and i can understand the buyers frustration at times as things i have purchased off ebay has came and it is not quite what i expected. I always offer a full refund but will expect the buyer to pay for the postage on returning the item. Once it has been returned i then give my refund.
  5. I'd always be willing to give things a go in other cultures more than i would back home, if its acceptable to be eating those things in Asia and i'm in asia then yeah i probably would. Cats are better than dogs, so good my 3 cats are trained to use the toilet :024: They take care of themselves really, although cats also need love and affection they can get this from other cats and don't require it as much from their owners. I think dogs on the other hand seek out attention from their owners, and of course need to go for walks and go outside for the toilet with assistance, cats don't. It really does depend on the nature of your animals though, some are more favourable than others. I too have tried ostrich, had it in a restuarant once and thought it was quite nice actually. But nothing special as you as when put it up against your usual beef etc.
  6. Somehow i don't think people should be getting their throats slashed in prisons though and this needs to be addressed. Prisoners think its acceptable to attack criminals with worser crimes but they are all scum and shouldn't be allowed to do this. I do agree though for crimes like Ian Huntley has commited capital punishment isn't a bad idea at all. I'm all for it if they can be 100% proven guilty.
  7. Exactly, we haven't always been playing this long ball malarky. We need to change BACK to keeping it on the deck. I think it's only started to creep into the team over the past few games going by what people have been saying (haven't seen us play since Killie). We need to get back to playing the way we were.
  8. Yup i'll be there! Walking this one from paisley
  9. I'll be there, my first game since Killie and i can't wait!

I started off a new ICT league with the new 3.0 patch including all January transfers meaning i started without Barrowman and Imrie. I started off excellent in the league and was able to open up an 11 point lead on Dundee before Xmas, the only bad thing was getting knocked out of the Challenge Cup 3-0 against Morton in the 2nd round. After new year though my team started to bottle it and Dundee slowly clawed back that 11 point lead and had over taken me with around 6 matches to go. I think the main problem was the injuries that my team was sustaining, Rooney was out for a lot of the season meaning i had to swap between Odhiambo and Foran upfront and they were pretty innefective in all games. Richie Foran was also injured for a lot of games meaning i had to swap Hayes onto the left and play Nick Ross on the right (Nick Ross managed to pick up a surprisingly high number of games because of these injuries) Russel Duncan was also out for most of the season meaning i had to sign in Hughes who did ok but nothing better than i already had in the team. Cox, Ross, Duncan and Hughes were the main players in the middle. As you can see i lost out on the league by 1 point to Dundee which is very gutting! They went on a brilliant run in the end and were unbeaten in a few matches.
  11. Why does no one consider County as a contender? We've still not beaten them in the league this year and when we beat them in the cup i thought they were the better team for most of the match. Look how different ICT were when Butcher came in, I think a new manager has a lot of influence and will get the dressing room back up and running. I still expect Dundee to lose points but just not as many as they would have with Jocky in charge. Luckily its now back in our hands.
  12. Its looking great but i wanted a win today to prove we can win this league. A draw was still an excellent result however and the only other game i'm scared of is Partick away. I'm confident we can win the rest now.
  13. Eh? Sorry if i didn't quite explain it properly, I just meant that from our remaining 11 matches, last time around (against all those other clubs earlier in the season at the same grounds) we managed 0 points and we are already 4 points higher than we were last time. As we were beaten by Queens and County both but this time we managed results. Dundee on the other hand are even worse off than last time. Right, I think I get it. But it's pretty irrevelant comparing results now with the same round of games some time ago. Current form is far more important, and on current form Dundee will be lucky to finish 4th, while ICT, County and Dunfermline will be contesting the title. I would have agreed with you if Jocky wasn't sacked but i can't help feel that this could really hurt us now.
  14. Just done some homework and Clydes biggest lead against us was 7 points, that we pulled that back with 8 games to go. Our biggest lead over Clyde was 6 points, well early into the season after 8 games.
  15. JOCKY Scott last night insisted Dundee haven't had the credit they deserve for their Treble tilt. The Dark Blues boss, who is gearing up for Saturday's Scottish Cup quarter-final home clash with Raith Rovers, said: "If you'd told me at the start of the season we'd be top of the league, get to the quarter-finals of the Legaue Cup to be narrowly beaten by Rangers, win the Alba Cup and get to the last eight of the Scottish Cup, I'd have bitten your hand off. "Everything has been covered over by one or two bad results, so we possibly haven't had the credit we deserve." Do you still think he would bite your hand off? tut tut Jocky, you just weren't good enough....
  16. Ian McCall was manager of Dundee Utd for no more than 2 seasons and i think he also played for Dundee in his career.
  17. You got any more facts? You seem to be a Dundee insider ....
  18. I've supported Jocky wholeheartedly all season and argued with the naysayers but todays result on the back of the recent run made his position untennable in my opinion, and i agree action had to be taken. It's obvious problems have developed behing the scenes and taking no action was not an option,so Yes, i am happy with the decision. Ok thanks for the answer..for me its a very strange one, I can understand the reason behind it to an extent as Dundee were struggling recently but if you just look at the position the club are in it looks bizarre, 1st in League, won a trophy and 2 quarter finals, has any manager ever been sacked when in such a position before? Has anyone ever blew a lead as much as Dundee had at Xmas?
  20. From 11 games to go we have now managed 4 points, last time around we managed 0 points. Dundee last time managed 2 and this time round they are on 1. Thats a 3 point improvement already and still 9 games to go. Dundee have Queens at home next which they drew last time around and we have Airdrie at home where we picked 3 points up last time.
  21. Ah well there you go, Partick and Queens have to be out of the running now.
  22. Ah, Didn't realise Dunfermline scored again.... I would still say County are the main threats right now though. We've beaten Dunfermline in the league this year, In all the County games we've been the worst team and i'd probably say we have been again today.
  23. Dunfermline drawing against 10 men? I think we should be more worried about Ross County just now, after all they are the team that has the game in hand over us.
  24. Queens well out of it is well now, 2-0 to Ayr
