Butcher offski?
Why don't we just see what happens?! Announcement will be made on Monday - you heard it here first!

Butcher offski?
that group of players surrounding him only meant one thing, the clap at the end confirmed it. Start piling money on Butcher to leave, trust me.

The new manager thread
He is a terrible manager that got lucky last year in the fact that he had a good team!

The new manager thread
You must be joking! He'd be a horrendous choice. Another job-for-the-boys type, who plays utterly-awful 5-4-1 anti-football, who got perhaps the SPL's poorest ever team relegated, and was promptly fired last year after being despised for about three years by a large section of their fans. I'd rather have Brewster back than him! Someone mentioned Mowbray earlier, now that might be a good choice actually, and would Kevin MacDonald be interested? Think he's out of a job right now, and certainly knows his stuff. Talk of him getting it once before IIRC as well. wait, who is the manager at Hamilton right now?

The new manager thread
Here is a few to throw in the mix: Peter Houston - did a really good job at Dundee United and is only working with the Scotland set up at the moment. Alex Neil - doing a great job at Hamilton right now. Steven Thompson - if you are a fan of the old player/manager role then he could be a shout. He has just gone through his coaching badges and does speak a lot of sense on Sportscene. they should get a wee bit of debate going. I also like the idea of taking in a retired ex caley player - Barry Wilson, Ross Tokely, Bobby Mann, Richard Hastings, just for example.

Team for Kilmarnock
confirmed that the line up is the same as Tuesday: Brill Shinnie Warren Meekings Tremarco Draper Foran Watkins Ross Doran Mckay

County game
Devine is nowhere near our worst player. He is just extremely unlucky in the fact he has warren and meekings ahead of him. He would start for most SPFL sides

County game
Watkins was meant to start against Partick but Butcher changed his mind and put Ben Greenhalgh in instead! Something to do with Marley being lazy in training one day!

County game
Brill Raven Warren Meekings Shinnie Draper Foran Doran Ross ???? Mckay Think the only position that is in doubt is left wing. Think we have many players that can play in that position. Greenhalgh did really well against Hibs but didnt think he was as impressive against Partick. There is also Watkins who did very well when he came on and did himself no harm whatsoever. There is Williams who hasnt really featured at all in the first team but i have seen him for the under 20s and he looks very impressive. Another man who has actually been the under 20s best player is Ryan Christie, yes he lacks experience but he a good enough player to play in behind Mckay, therefore moving nick ross out to left wing. If Dundee United play Ryan Gauld and Aberdeen play Cammy Smith there then I dont see why Christie cant be given a go. Plenty of options. The rest of the team picks itself in my opinion.

Scott Fox - cheat or professional
at the end of the day he stopped us winning the game! of course it makes us angry but if it was Dean Brill doing it we would all think it was total genius. Scott Fox clocked on straight away that Euan Norris was a soft referee and used it to his advantage! Its the ref at fault here, not Scott Fox

County & Hibs u20 game
I have to say the future does not look good for county if that's who they are taking through the youth systems. They were dreadful. We dominated the whole game with pepper, Polworth and Christie running the show in the middle of the park. A lot of players in our line up last night will be knocking on Terry's door in the next couple of seasons, maybe even this season!

St Johnstone -V- I.C.T.
That's a fair point, but IMO Greenhalgh should have started. I'd actually drop Nick Ross to be honest - he's been poor particularly away from for the last few weeks. What has happened to Curtis Allen? Apparently he's now injury free and 100% fit, but he hasn't featured at all. He was fairly highly rated in Northern Ireland I believe and can also play that role behind Mckay. Is it time we chucked him in there with Vincent being out for a considerable amount of time? Curtis Allen is apparently really struggling to adapt to the fitness required for this level. Apparently a very talented player technically but his fitness is not there yet

Team for Hibs
3 doubts for tomorrows game - Foran, Doran and Warren. Polworth, Williams and Devine expected to replace any of them if they are not fit to play

The "Signed Up For Next Season" Thread
Put the players into what i reckon are their best friends despite a lot of them being very versatile. I would say looking at that the squad is looking really good and there are at least 2 or 3 decent line ups that can be made out of all the players. Goalkeepers Ryan Esson Dean Brill Nick Draper Cameron Mackay Right Backs David Raven Matthew Cooper Jay Cheyne Left Backs Graeme Shinnie Carl Tremarco Calum Holwarth Centre Backs Gary Warren Josh Meekings Danny Devine Jason Brown Joe Gorman Centre Midfielders Richie Foran Ross Draper James Vincent Liam Polworth Right Midfielders Marley Watkins Conor Pepper Ali Sutherland Left Midfielders Ben Greenhalgh Danny Williams Adam Evans Attacking Midfielders Aaron Doran Nick Ross Ryan Christie Centre Forwards Billy Mckay Curtis Allen Calum Ferguson

Some really good performances tonight out there. Brill didn't have much to do, seems solid enough. Only thing is his kicking is pretty woeful. Back four were solid enough with a particular shoutout to the new boy Carl Tremarco who just looks like a player that will be a fans favourite very soon. I like the look of James Vincent and also think Liam Polworth has got to be more involved this season. I thought Danny Williams looks a good player. Very quick and direct. First time i saw Adam Evans i thought he looked awful but tonight he looked a lot sharper and a lot more confident. And then we come to the two boys up front. Calum Ferguson with two goals although having two centre backs man marking him the whole game. And then MOTM without a doubt Ryan Christie. Constantly looking for the ball and really composed when he has it. He also scored the goal of the game. Not done himself any harm in terms of staying on Terry's radar. Looking over it all i am delighted with the team that is coming together. All the new signings look like they will add something to the team and the young boys all look very impressive. Terry & Mo are well and truly spoilt for choice
