  1. It will be interesting if caley hammer Hibs today and then it is announced on Monday that Terry is leaving.
  2. What Monday - 11th 18th 25th ? Now thats where the mystery lies!
  3. Why don't we just see what happens?! Announcement will be made on Monday - you heard it here first!
  4. that group of players surrounding him only meant one thing, the clap at the end confirmed it. Start piling money on Butcher to leave, trust me.
  5. He is a terrible manager that got lucky last year in the fact that he had a good team!
  6. HT 0-1 FT 1-2 1st ICT: Foran 1st Hibs: Craig Time of 1st scorer: 19 mins
  7. according to STV news Craig Levein, Peter Houston and Paul Hartley are the favourites!
  8. HT: Rangers U20 1 - 2 Inverness CT - Adam Evans and Liam Polworth with the goals for us
  9. Okay an edit is required, i thought it was still Billy Reid
  10. You must be joking! He'd be a horrendous choice. Another job-for-the-boys type, who plays utterly-awful 5-4-1 anti-football, who got perhaps the SPL's poorest ever team relegated, and was promptly fired last year after being despised for about three years by a large section of their fans. I'd rather have Brewster back than him! Someone mentioned Mowbray earlier, now that might be a good choice actually, and would Kevin MacDonald be interested? Think he's out of a job right now, and certainly knows his stuff. Talk of him getting it once before IIRC as well. wait, who is the manager at Hamilton right now?
  11. Here is a few to throw in the mix: Peter Houston - did a really good job at Dundee United and is only working with the Scotland set up at the moment. Alex Neil - doing a great job at Hamilton right now. Steven Thompson - if you are a fan of the old player/manager role then he could be a shout. He has just gone through his coaching badges and does speak a lot of sense on Sportscene. they should get a wee bit of debate going. I also like the idea of taking in a retired ex caley player - Barry Wilson, Ross Tokely, Bobby Mann, Richard Hastings, just for example.
  12. confirmed that the line up is the same as Tuesday: Brill Shinnie Warren Meekings Tremarco Draper Foran Watkins Ross Doran Mckay
  13. HT 1-0 FT 2-1 1st ICT: Mckay 1st Opp: Gauld Time of 1st Goal: 29 mins
  14. The two slovakians/slovenians started up front against Forres. They played in the same game as Jonny Hayes trial. They were absolutely dreadful
  15. Devine is nowhere near our worst player. He is just extremely unlucky in the fact he has warren and meekings ahead of him. He would start for most SPFL sides
  16. Watkins was meant to start against Partick but Butcher changed his mind and put Ben Greenhalgh in instead! Something to do with Marley being lazy in training one day!
  17. Brill Raven Warren Meekings Shinnie Draper Foran Doran Ross ???? Mckay Think the only position that is in doubt is left wing. Think we have many players that can play in that position. Greenhalgh did really well against Hibs but didnt think he was as impressive against Partick. There is also Watkins who did very well when he came on and did himself no harm whatsoever. There is Williams who hasnt really featured at all in the first team but i have seen him for the under 20s and he looks very impressive. Another man who has actually been the under 20s best player is Ryan Christie, yes he lacks experience but he a good enough player to play in behind Mckay, therefore moving nick ross out to left wing. If Dundee United play Ryan Gauld and Aberdeen play Cammy Smith there then I dont see why Christie cant be given a go. Plenty of options. The rest of the team picks itself in my opinion.
  18. at the end of the day he stopped us winning the game! of course it makes us angry but if it was Dean Brill doing it we would all think it was total genius. Scott Fox clocked on straight away that Euan Norris was a soft referee and used it to his advantage! Its the ref at fault here, not Scott Fox
  19. HT:1-2 FT:1-6 1st ICT: Doran 1st Opp: De Leuww Time of 1st Goal: 12 mins
  20. HT: 2-0 FT: 3-0 1st ICT: Mckay 1st Opp: Higginbotham Time of 1st Goal: 6 mins
  21. I have to say the future does not look good for county if that's who they are taking through the youth systems. They were dreadful. We dominated the whole game with pepper, Polworth and Christie running the show in the middle of the park. A lot of players in our line up last night will be knocking on Terry's door in the next couple of seasons, maybe even this season!
  22. That's a fair point, but IMO Greenhalgh should have started. I'd actually drop Nick Ross to be honest - he's been poor particularly away from for the last few weeks. What has happened to Curtis Allen? Apparently he's now injury free and 100% fit, but he hasn't featured at all. He was fairly highly rated in Northern Ireland I believe and can also play that role behind Mckay. Is it time we chucked him in there with Vincent being out for a considerable amount of time? Curtis Allen is apparently really struggling to adapt to the fitness required for this level. Apparently a very talented player technically but his fitness is not there yet
  23. HT: 0-1 FT: 1-2 ICT: McKay St J: Maclean First goal: 22 mins
  24. 3 doubts for tomorrows game - Foran, Doran and Warren. Polworth, Williams and Devine expected to replace any of them if they are not fit to play
  25. HT: 2-0 FT: 3-0 1st ICT: Mckay 1st Hibs: Heffernan Time of first goal: 11 mins
