I've heard that he has been sent back to Celtic. Also when he gets back to Celtic they are going to get rid of him too. I haven't heard the full story of why but Its something he did behind the scenes. Shame because I thought he looked like a good player for us.

i enjoyed the game - the first 20 minutes is the most entertainment i have seen at caley stadium in a while. I really like the look of the two centre backs - Warren and King. Both look very solid. two centre midfielders - draper and jones - were really good until jones did the most stupid yet understandable thing a passionate footballer can do. A few questions for Butcher. WHY ON EARTH DO YOU START THAT DONKEY THAT IS SHANE SUTHERLAND? He is horrendous and i seriously dont understand why he doesnt start nick ross. also when you take nick ross on why do you take billy mckay off ? Generally quite optimistic for this season but first Butcher needs to stop drinking wine before and during the match.

According to the Inverness courier on Friday it said that he was out for st mirren and Kilmarnock

i cannot believe that even after a really good performance people still find something to be negative about. couldnt really fault anything today. shane sutherland was never a winger but he will come. it will just take time. and i completely disagree with the draper comments. think he looks like he is going to be a good player. BRING ON THIS SEASON!!!

Hopefully some of the youth players get a game tonight. Would be good to see boys like Kyle whyte, Ryan Christie, Calum Ferguson etc, play.

a very frustrating game in terms of missing chances. but i thought we were passing the ball and creating chances against a determined elgin team. esson was fine but i am desperate to see reguero have a game. i thought raven was awful. a bit better in the second half but he is going to be a liability. two centre backs - meekings and new boy simon king were very good. graeme shinnie played well and linked up well with his brother really well. draper and foran in midfield are great, i really like there tough tackling, no nonsense play. two wingers, doran is going to be an important player for us. as long as he doesnt get injured. i am not a huge fan of sutherland but i thought he played not to bad today. andrew shinnie is different class just needs to be able to finish. and mckay just chases lost causes all day. his movement is excellent but just doesnt get the service. and as for the one sub nick ross - if he doesnt get regular first team football this season then i dont know what is wrong with terry and mo. one or two new faces away and i think we are pretty well there.

Not a bad game at all with bits and pieces of brilliance - especially our second goal. i thought that Cooper, Doran and Andrew Shinnie were all excellent. foran looks like the fittest player out the lot. thought draper was a man of two halves. thought he was really poor first half but grew into the game and had some real grit about him in the second. Morrison looked very good and oswell and Mckay (despite missing a few chances) both looked sharp. Conor Pepper is still to convince me but i thought polworth was good. we are still a few new faces short yet but i am happy enough. hopefully butcher may get on the phone to clach about their number 9 sam urquhart who is a real talent.

hopefully that will mean more of the new boys at clach tonight:)
