ICT -V- Kilmarnock
well im in manfers camp on this one. I dont know where this came from after some really appalling performances but where ever it came from it was a vast improvement. But with that vast improvement we showed our underlying problem in many games this season - cannot score enough to win games we deserve to win. I though golabart was brilliant own goal a side and i though it was one of the best games greg tansey has put in in a caley shirt. I didnt think foran was great yesterday he gave away a lot of easy balls. Cammy bell was brilliant yesterday but we missed some really guilt edge chances. I thought mckay and winnall linked up well and looked dangerous just the final ball lacking again. I know we scored with 5 in midfield compared to the 4-4-2 but i though it tightened it up and made it harder and in fact it came from another great save from bell that allowed golabart to tap in. It was a much better performance and surprise surprise it culminates in us playing the ball on the deck.

Matchday Thread: Dundee Utd -V- ICT
Back from the game and i have to say we were beaten by a football team. I dont know what has been told to the players but this long ball crap is so ineffective when we have no players with abit of height upfront. I though tade and mackay looked to be putting effort in and they did try but any service they got was woeful. Dundee United looked dangerous and had a cutting edge with Russell and Daly looking dangerous all game. We did have a spell where if we had grabbed a goal then we may have got a point but Russell's goal was cracking and deserved to kill any game. Our defending for all the goals was pretty terrible with all of them avoidable. Top six was a possibility but in this last month we havent performed and any notion of top six is gone. We need to keep going and pick up as many points as we can maybe overtake a few but make sure we stay clear of the bottom two and try again next season. What is evident is that we are scary bad when we have no hayes he may not have played great in the last few matches but he still is our main creator and tonight we could have played all night and still not scored so disapointing but we need to now concentrate on killie.

Dunfermline -V- ICT
just watched the highlights proctor wasnt even near the ball for the goal so he wasnt to blame but he did look very shaky in the second half and was lucky that esson again made some crucial stops. It was all us in the first half without really making everyones favourite goalkeeper chris smith work. Second we were poor and looking desperate playing stupid long balls which had no effect all day. Tudor jones came on and we looked better in possession and the goal was great work by mckay who actually made us look more potent up front and a brilliant driven cross which ross put away was disappointed we couldnt drive on and get the winner but we didnt lose and that was the main thing even if the game was bollocks

Dunfermline roll call
im heading up to this one looking forward to it

Caledonian Stadium will look second best
yeah and our away fan base is better than 150 but the winter period is always hard and of course u do get midweek games in winter so again it hits our away fans but i think we have a dent away fanbase for the travel and cost involved
-
Transfer Activity
no chance but will be very happy to admit im wrong if anything did happen

ICT v Celtic - Sat 4th Feb - Ticket Info
i dont think u have to give the same deals for the away fans as celtic do concessions for students for home fans but for away fans i have to pay full adult price because they dont do concessions for away fans students so i say reduce some home prices for the kids and give the old firm fans the bumper prices they are going to pay it as 'they are the best fans in the world'

ICT -V- St Mirren
on nick ross i think he is a talented player the miss was bad but i dont think he has become a bad player and the critism of him is harsh
-
ICT -V- St Mirren
i watched the highlights and firstly tade's chance was hard i dont think it was that big of a miss he just wasnt in the right position to get a clean strike. Tansey should have done better with his shot but i have to admit nick ross im sorry but my my how the ball could go over from that position it was virtually impossible to miss but hey a point is better than nothing so bring on the tims next week

Top six next week
well i want motherwell i would rather concentrate and being totally safe before we think of europe but top 6 is now very possible and i see that as being a start i doubt we will get near to st johnstone in 5th i feel they are to good a side to drop 10 points back to us and the rest of the pack so 6th and if we can try and push higher but one step of a time

Celtic in the cup or in the league?
its a hard one but i would rather the cup because yes there no gurantee that we will win the cup if we beat celtic but it we would have a lot of belief that we could go on and at least make hampden as it is a huge obstacle out of our way. I understand the league issue but i believe that celtic in the league is a game that if we get anything at all is a bonus and we wont win the league so the cup for me

The next penalty
i think the last penalty we were given was against Celtic in the rearranged cup match. I cant remember a penalty after Rooney scored that one that night

Gambler Jock's Scotch Cup 5th Round Draw.
I two am disappointed with the draw. i would liked to have avoided both sides of the old firm even though if i had choose i would take the blue half as i believe they are their for the taking. I like many other supporters wants a trip to hampden and this again is another obstacle. But it is a home tie and it gives the boys a great incentive to win the reply and hopefully we will do that. Celtic are in good form but i didnt think their much between the two in the league game until O Reily gave them a helping hand so lets get on and get through and lets go and give the tims another tough game. We lost 2-1 last year hopefully with a couple of additions to the squad we can do it and if we can then the dream of hampden is really on
